Happy Summer! Since you're probably spending more time than ever with your pets right now, we fixed some annoying bugs and added some great enhancements:

• Update on Updates: PeTalk has officially moved from a Jan-May-Sept update schedule to a Feb-June-Oct update schedule. This schedule is better aligned with Apple's release schedule, and will allow us to adopt new technologies quicker!

• Black out: PeTalk in Dark Mode now works properly again!

• Hi, High-Res: PeTalk's camera view has been upgraded to show your pet in the best quality possible!

• Raise the bar: We got rid of that pesky black bar at the top of the screen on notched devices.

• Thanks for your support: improvements to the donation and review request flows.

• We don't even have to say it: other minor bug fixes and improvements, too.

• Say cheese: The camera button now works properly for notched-device users (for real this time!), and the resulting image looks better for everyone else, too! Stay tuned for further improvements!

• Everyone loves stickers: and now ours are even better, with quality improvements!

• Bottoms up: We refined the text in our bottom banner.

• iOS 13 users: There was a bug on our About/Donation Page that sometimes caused the app to crash. No longer! Thank you for your support!

We hope *fall* in love with the latest features & improvements in PeTalk 2.3:

• Watch out, we've got some big news: PeTalk now is compatible with Apple Watch, which means you can see your pet's thoughts while you're on the go.

• Tell your pet to put their thinking cap on: That's right, we've updated what thoughts PeTalk can understand from your pet, meaning you'll see new content and more hilarious jokes from your dog or cat. And to celebrate, we optimized our thought reader code to make sure PeTalk is showing the right thought at the right time.

• We're pixel-perfect: we were so excited about our new camera icon, that we accidentally made it a little pixelated. It should be much better now (as should the paw print icon). To celebrate, we updated our App Store screenshots and also updated PeTalk's launch screens for older devices, so you'll see pixel-perfection throughout the app.

• On a scale of 1-10, we're a 12: We're all ready to go for iOS 12-- so if you haven't updated your device yet, now you have no excuse. And to the lucky ducks with one of the new iPhones: we're ready for you too.

• Have a question? We have answers: we've updated our PeTalk Support form (now available at bit.do/PeTalk). It's easier to use, and looks much better. It also has our privacy policy, so you can understand what data we collect and how we use it. (Spoiler: it's all anonymous, and we don't sell it to anyone)

• No real App Store release notes would be complete without saying that we made some backend improvements and bug fixes.

Spring is in full bloom, just like the new features and improvements in PeTalk 2.2:

• 2 for 1 equals double the fun: In our last update, we promised iPad UI enhancements. Well, we were so excited about those that we improved the iPhone UI too! Notice a more natural looking system camera icon, and other size and layout improvements.

• Just for you, a new sticker or two: Check out a couple of our new iMessage stickers, and keep your eyes peeled for refinements to them in our next update.

• Nein on 9: iOS 9 users, we're really sorry that PeTalk crashed every time you tried to use it. That's embarrassing, but luckily, it won't anymore. Hopefully it prompted you to update to iOS 10 or 11, which you should do if either is available for your device.

• We probably made some backend improvements and bug fixes, but who can really say for sure?

• Up next: We've owed you guys some new thoughts that PeTalk can understand for a long time. Our next few releases will deliver.

Happy 2018! 2017 was an interesting year, to say the least. Almost as interesting as what we've got in PeTalk 2.1:

• First and most exciting: PeTalk Stickers! That's right, if you're on iOS 10 or higher, fire up your Messages app, and check out our adorable stickers. We started with a few, more will come.

• Second, an apology: the alerts you got in PeTalk about new updates being available were poorly designed, showing the ALL the release notes. As great as these are, we don't want to dump a wall of text on you anymore. Once you update, the alerts will be much shorter, and to the point. Sorry it took so long.

• X marks the spot: As promised, PeTalk is now fully optimized for you lucky ducks with an iPhone X. (Yes, we know it's pronounced 10, but we needed good wordplay). iPad users, don't feel left out: you're getting some UI refinements in the next update!

• 3, 2, 1, Launch: We've improved the launch experience for iPhone 4S users. You won't see that ugly squeezed screen anymore.

• We've updated our automated crash reporting system, so we'll be able to fix issues faster!

• Yada yada yada backend improvements and bug fixes.

• If you're still on iOS 8, you really should update. It's been 3 years, and your phone is compatible with at least iOS 9 (if not 10 and 11). You also should update because PeTalk now requires iOS 9.

This is PeTalk 2.0! Check out what we have in our amazing Fall update:

• New (School) Year, New Me: We've got a new logo that's much cleaner, so your home screen will be a little more fresh. We've also improved some other UI elements.

• We're in the third dimension (and also 2015): We finally added 3D touch to our app icon! If you have an iPhone 6S or newer, you can now launch directly into either Dog or Cat Mode right from the home screen!

• We're 11/10: Part of the reason this update is a few weeks later than normal is so we could be fully compatible with iOS 11 and its new App Store. We now are, so if you're on iOS 11, we're ready for you. Soon-to-be iPhone X users: a PeTalk that's optimized for you and your notch is coming in the next update. Promise.

• And you know the update wouldn't be complete without some backend improvements and bug fixes.

• Squash those bugs! PeTalk now collects anonymous data on crashes so that we can fix them in future versions!

• Out with the old, in with the new: We've finished uploading our new screenshots-- they look pretty snazzy!

• Speaking of out with the old: PeTalk now requires iOS 8. If you have iOS 7, well, you probably should update. It's been 3 years.

• And speaking of in with the new: PeTalk is now fully compatible with iOS 10!

• Woof! Meow! We've made improvements to the thoughts that PeTalk can understand from your pet!

• "Hey Alexa, ask PeTalk what my pet is thinking?" We're now on Alexa! Enable the skill in the Alexa app!

Unfortunately, summer is coming to an end. We're sad too, but we've made the following fixes and enhancements to PeTalk 1.7 to get your tail wagging again:

• You better lock your doors at night. Well, not with this update-- PeTalk 1.7 is now much more secure thanks to App Transport Security!

• I really wanna know: Who are you? The Who? PeTalk now uses analytics to learn what you like and help make the app better! Want out? Simply go to Settings>Privacy>Advertising and turn on Limit Ad Tracking.

• I scream, you scream, we all scream for screenshots! You can check out our brand new screenshots on the App Store.

• The Big One-Oh. We've fully prepped PeTalk for iOS 10, including updating some of our backend Ad stuff.

• Cleanup in Aisle 7! We've cleaned up and removed some old code, which will make PeTalk much leaner and faster.

• And as always, some bug fixes!

• Want to share your pet's hilarious thoughts with your friends? Now you can! Once you have your pet in the perfect pose, with the perfect thought, press the brand new camera button, and share away!

• Even though your pet's thoughts may be bold, our text shouldn't be. (The text in the thought bubble is no longer bold, which looks a lot better on iOS 9)

• You're welcome, 16GB device owners. (iOS 9 users- PeTalk now takes up a lot less space on your device!)

• Respect your elders. (iPhone 4S users- you now have a much faster startup time!)

• Of course, what would be an update without some bug fixes? (We also further optimized PeTalk for iOS 9)
