Great for Long Drives
There are so many quality shows on Pinna, I don’t know where to begin - driving 20 minutes to daycare or driving hours to a nearby city, there are so many shows that keep my boys entertained - from the short Sugar Monster to the medium lengthen Grim, Grimmer, Grimmest. Christmas is Coming is great when the season is coming - ExtraBlurt is one we all played - Savvy and Wonderhair is pretty good - especially the planet episodes, my oldest loves Mars Patel - and there are countless books, like Shredderman, which are quite good - the only problem is the cost. Most shows are entertaining and there are tons of things to discover but At 7.99 a month (after the first free one), make sure you get your moneys worth. There is enough here to keep you busy listening for months ... but eventually ... we pulled the plug but after six months we came back to get the latest episodes and check out the new shows - I guess the price is worth it if you are anti screen and don’t mind letting your kids listen to programs / podcasts instead of listening to the podcasts in your own queue

Pinna is a staple in our household.
I have two daughters, ages 7 & 11. At bedtime, after we read them a story or two, we let them listen to audiobooks as they are going to sleep. Suffice it to say it adds up when you’re regularly buying Audible audiobooks, particularly because children’s stories are much shorter. Pinna solves this problem by having lots of great content for a fixed price! I would note that my 11 year old has run through most of the content for her age. My understanding though is that Pinna is continuously working on adding new content. Definitely an app worth checking out if you want to consistently foster a love of reading in your child!

Not loving the current book selection
Kids and I love pinna we purchase the yearly subscription. Up until recently I have loved that I can let the kids choose their own stories to listen to. Giving me time to work on chores or independent projects. 2022 book additions are a little questionable though(we loved the 2020 and 21 books) I don’t typically sensor books but these ones while appropriate for 12yos, are giving my 6yo nightmares and there is no way to remove them from his list. He doesn’t want to listen to them and has asked me to pick out his books so he doesn’t accidentally get a scary one. The age button in the top corner only works for the main screen, my kid likes to choose the longer chapter books (where all the scary space stories with kid eating plants are )it also resets everytime we leave the app. I don’t need to fully sensor my kid, but we both would feel better if Momma could take the scary books out of his library so he could freely select books again.

We love the Pinna app for quality content and variety. We randomly happened upon it and started listening to Grimm Grimmer, Grimmest, which quickly became a favorite. I am born in Germany, so the „real stories“ are dear to me ;) Rumplestilzchen it‘s done excellent! Our daughter has immensely enjoyed much of the content and is very much looking forward to more episodes of Opal Watson - Private Eye! Clue Club and Upside Down Magic are runner ups favorites and Forever Ago was quite enjoyable as well. We are still making our way thru.
We are happy to pay a reasonable subscription fee for quality content and engaging stories and Pinna has many of them. We appreciate it!

Wonderful Shows and awesome customer service
We have loved listening to Pinna over the last few months. It makes car rides easier, naptime smoother and is a great tool to pull out of my back pocket when needed. I LOVE that it’s not just more screen time and really encourages imagination and listening skills. Recently I reached out to their customer service to mention how much we liked a particular show and they were wonderful in replying and even sent stickers! A gift card to Pinna is going to be my new birthday gift for kids of all ages!

We love Pinna!
I am so happy we came across Pinna. The content is great for both my 7 year old and almost 3 year old but caters to a variety of ages. A great variety of fiction and non fiction books, podcasts, music, games, quizzes and some podcasts offer worksheets! This is a great compliment to screen time and I highly suggest it for homeschool families. Having the little ones completely on audio helps develop different parts of the brain that screen time or physical/manual work. Great to use in the car also!

This is an amazing app that every parent needs!
It’s not the cheapest subscription, BUT it’s worth every penny for the wealth of content.
My 2 1/2 year old loves listening to stories in the car and at home and the endless amount of audio books on this app keeps him happy.
I look forward to years of subscribing and watching the app just get better and better.
The small team is super attentive to questions on Instagram if you ever have any questions or concerns.

Great app, limited content for price
We love Pinna and have had it since early 2020 and initially used it pretty much every day for our 3yo and 5yo. After over a year a listening, we’ve run out of content that interests them and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of new content released regularly. Now with so many free podcasts and audiobooks for kids, we won’t renew our subscription but I would recommend this for a year of enjoyment for kids less than 8-10yo. I also find it a bonus that there are no videos, we prefer to limit screen time in general.

Great Family Activity
We discovered Pinna during the pandemic and we have enjoyed listening as a homeschooling family ever since! My child and I have listened to a new podcast adventure during lunch together often. It’s also great for him to keep himself busy on long car rides instead of playing video games or watching a screen.
The original stories are great because the voice actors are so good! We are so glad we found Pinna!

Pinna is a godsend!
When COVID meant that we were stuck at home and my six year old son didn’t have regular in-person schooling, I thought we were doomed to unhealthy amounts of TV-watching. Then I read about Pinna.
We listen as a family and he listens on his own! We trust that the content will be appropriate and educational — and we don’t worry about inappropriate ads in between episode, like we experienced with other podcast apps.
