Wow... that was tricky. There have been a number of users experiencing an issue when trying tor restore in app purchases. This was a tough issue to catch as it only happens on the live version of the app. During testing we could not replicate this bug. So fingers crossed we fixed it this time. UI IMPROVEMENTS
- Added labels to filters and borders and visual cue showing which item has been selected.
BUG FIXES
- Added support email in app contact page, previously missing email address.
- Fixed a bug in the Gallery Viewer that caused the toolbar to disappear.
- When cropping an image, the selected filter now gets reapplied to image.

- Fixed issue on the iPhone 4 and 4S that caused app to crash before saving. This was limiting for some of you and hopefully now this bug is a thing of the past.
- Fixed the crashing issue when selecting a font. Thank you B-Dub @nomtasticapps for pointing this out to us.
- Fixed the issue that cause the image to rotate while the phone was rotated when adding a filter.
- Increased gallery thumbnail image resolution. This was more of a UI improvement than a bug fix, as we noticed the thumbnails were a bit blurry. The thumbnails are much sharper now!
- We removed the Polamatic website link when sharing your Polaroid to Twitter. We know this annoyed some of you and we apologize for stealing your character spaces.
- You can now import from any album in your photo library. In the previous update, you were limited to your camera roll only. We heard your feedback and we took care of it.

Hello Everyone. There is nothing new in this version but we have improved the app by fixing a few bugs.
- Fixed issue with camera shutter remaining closed when reopening the camera
- Fixed issue with spinning activity indicator not appearing when saving Polaroid
NOTE: A few users have contacted us asking why they’re not able to save their Polaroid images to the photo library. This is not an issue with the app, it has to do with your privacy settings.
When you initially launch the app please make sure to ALLOW Polamatic access to your photo library or you will not be able to save to your Photo Library.
If you did not allow this permission then go to your iPhone Settings > Privacy > Photos > Polamatic. Make sure Polamatic is switched ON.

Almost amazing
This app has everything I was looking for in a Polaroid app-- the borders, the filters. I love the vintage style so much and that this app has so many options to edit photos.
However, the app crashes every other time I try to save a photo, which is so disappointing because if it didn't do that, this app would definitely be up there with other top photo editing apps already. I hope it's fixed soon-- it'd definitely be one of my favorite apps otherwise!

Version 6 Broke App!
I was initially excited to see Version 6 was released after years of neglect.
However this new release BROKE THE APP! I am using iOS 16.3.1 on a 13 Pro.
1) The Camera function was removed Or it is not visible in my installation.
2) Even worse, I cannot import images from my Camera Roll. Whenever I select Import the APP LOCKS UP and requires me to swipe the app closed. This lock up occurs 100% of the time.
Either way new images cannot be edited, which of course is the point of the app.
I had been using the latest Version 15 build and it was working fine on 16.3. So I find it ironic that Version 6 was released to make it work on iOS 16 only to break it.
Hopefully the developer will quickly resolve this issue.
In my opinion Polamatic remains the gold standard for Polaroid-esque simulation despite years without significant updates. I like that it constrains me enough that I don’t get lost in tedious edits. I use it regularly for quick candids and enjoy the rawness of the results.
I am eager for the developer to root cause this problem and release a fix.
Until this issue is resolved I recommend that current users wait for the next update in the event the first Version 6 release breaks your app also.

My Favorite Photo App!
I have Instamagram, Hipstamatic, and like 3 other photo apps whose names I can't remember, but I use this one more than any other. It's not as complicated as Hipsta, doesn't force you share (or create an account) like Insta, but it's easy to edit & share when that's what you want to do. It's simple to use, makes that awesome that familiar "printout" sound, and the pictures really *do* looks like Polaroids! Plus I love how easy it is to "write" on the pics. I haven't encountered any technical problems (crashes, etc.) on my 5S. Not saying other reviewers are lying or anything, just that it isn't a problem across the board. Highly recommended!

Love the New Update! Best Polaroid App
Update 5.0 won't Download on my iPhone 5S. Was looking forward of trying out new update, but not able to. Please fix & I'll update review when this is fixed.
Update: Was able to update to 5.0 & It took a very long time to update tho. As for the update it is fantastic & Love that you added the other Polaroids back in the day. I have one issue, please fix the sharpen tool bug, bring back the filters that were removed. It is still my Favorite App I use frequently.

I tried.
I've tried so hard to like this app and appreciate it for what it is, but it's impossible with the freezes and crashes, not to mention the fact that filters and borders I paid for are no longer available in the new version of this app. Also for whatever reason when I install this app my normal use of my camera has suffered and crashes. I can't express my disappointment enough. I grew up always wanting a Polaroid camera and thought this would be a dream come true. Instead it's been a frustrated mess. Maybe the future will bring an amazing experience. My experience has only been on the 5s. Opened it and tried it again before I posted and it froze scrolling through filters.

I like that you've added new film and cleaned up the app but why did you take away sooo many SX-70 filters?! Filters that I paid for! I hate when app developers do this. "Improving" by taking away. It went from an impressive 40 filters with lots of different color and contrast options to a measly 12 with lousy pretty color choices. Please put the filters back or refund my money. And for crying out loud, fix the sharpness glitch! Every time I import a photo from polamatic to Instagram, the sharpness goes away, no matter how blurry I make the picture. I've reported this several times in the past year. Please fix

I've had this app for a while now but it just dawned on me that you can now choose to have no border which allows you to just filter the photo and have access to ALL filters rather than just the ones designated for the film type. - This finally makes this app a bit more useful to me.

App not working
Had this app since the beginning and just saw that it’s up and running again. However, this new version with my iPhone 13 Pro running iOS16 does not work. Screen is black (broken?). Please fix. I would love to use this app again. Thank you.

Great, but...
This app gives you the nostalgic feel of using a real Polaroid camera, however, the editing options feel like they're to close together. Every time I try adjusting something, I end up hitting a different option. Maybe it's just because I have larger hands/thumbs, but it makes the process annoying.

My kids...and I...LOVE this app.
This is a great way to introduce the kids to photography. My kids have been running around the house, taking pics of everything. I love the editing options and the kids love seeing the picture develop. A+
