Hello,
This version fixes a major crash bug! :)
This was a very hard bug to reproduce. Fortunately, someone emailed me with enough information to track it down and help verify the fix. They are now enjoying an iTunes Gift Certificate as a token of my appreciation. Thanks!
What's new:
• Fixed all known crash and saving bugs
• Added 7 new Focus options: "Illuma" will lighten parts of your image to create more drips! (As always, drips will only be created when you hold your device upright.)

A note about Ink: I developed this new image processing technique over the past year. It's a beautiful effect that was developed for a new photo app that hasn't been released yet, but I was so excited for people to start using it that I've added it to Popsicolor (for free) and tailored the look to integrate perfectly. I think you will enjoy using it a lot!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Instagram 3.2 has a bug that prevents you from previewing the images you send from Popsicolor. Instagram has released version 3.4 which fixes the problem.

Great to add to your collection.
I am usually not inclined to download an app that transforms your photo into some other look alike medium. But I really like percolator by the same developer. This app first, does a great job and second a great tool to add affects from other apps or layer it to get even more interesting effects. Adding light leaker affects is a perfect example and not achievable in actual watercolor. If you like playing with multiple apps this would be a great addition.

Great, fun app…
… Easy to use, great visual results. In my eyes, only two things keep it from being completely perfect: the results of using the "adding ink" feature are dark artifacts that break the border of the underlying watercolor piece. Sometimes it's a good thing, but the only way to make it good every time is to make it controllable. The other problem is that when I click the "write a review" button within the app it takes me to a blank screen within the App Store, which makes me have to take an extra step in order to come back and write the glowing review this app deserves!

unique, solid addition to any iphonographer's library
I adore the popsicle colors and love making drippy, watercolorish images. works best on simple pictures. it can really enhance collage work when you include some of the watercolor dripping pictures. and so many options! solid color or bicolor, ability to add black ink to better define your picture, these are just a few of the options!

Like everyone, I’d love more colors. That said, there are so many fun combinations. You can really tailor them to your image. I’ve been told I should frame mine.
Since OS 13 it’s taking a long time to save. More than a minute. If you’re not patient you might think the app crashed. Hope this gets fixed soon! Thank you for a great app!

Popsicolor’s algorithm has one of the most authentic water colour blending effects ever seen on the App Store. And the high resolution support produces absolutely amazing imagery.
Note:
It does take a small moment, but still an inconsequential bit of time, to process full resolution imagery. No other app comes close to pulling off a realistic water colour effect with these kinds of exquisite results.

Popsicolor is totally original. I haven't seen anything else even close to this in the App Store.
It helps if your image has a lot of contrast. After you use it for a while, you start to anticipate which images that will probably look good.

Very fun color design tool
A unique coloring tool for blending various shades and then some. Cheers to the developer for updating and keeping the app evolving. It would be nice if there was a way to blend in the raw photograph to the processed photograph if that may be possible, sometimes my pictures seem unrecognizable but with the new ink-tensify feature the outline of shapes seems more apparent. Thanks

The pictures and reviews built this app up and I had high hopes, but I gotta say I'm a little bummed. The effects have no option to adjust strength or transparency and they simply drown out about 75% of the pics I try to edit. The pic has to be just right in brightness and contrast, or the subject gets drowned out and there's nothing you can really do about it. A simple option to adjust the effect strength would make a huge difference.

Excellent idea
This was a great idea for an app and tastefully designed. I love the cute little names they use and the options and colors are wonderful. I've played with it all afternoon today and love trying different pictures. It's better to use less detailed pictures with recognizable shapes. I love this app and intend to use it a lot in the future! :)

Another Winner From Tinrocket
Allows for gradient overlays with an impressive range of controls, e.g., dual color options, linear, radial, etc. DEVELOPER: Would prefer a different layout of the tools, as they show up above and below the image working area, and the accordion layout, while cute, wastes a good deal of precious screen real estate. Something more like the tool layout in Percolator would be a big improvement.
