Rosymomma,
Good, but no for me.
This is a good nap app for those that "power nap." Easy to use, good sleep and wake sounds, and okay to semi cute graphics. The longest nap you can take with this app is 30 min.

Not for those that need longer naps for any reason. Due to a chronic pain condition, I need to nap daily, but generally for 1-2 hours. I wanted an app that would work with a night time sleep app to total all my sleep for my doc to see. No glory with that idea yet.

Anyway, give the kitty a try if you can do power naps at work, in your car, etc

Worst app ever
I downloaded this app about four months ago and deleted it because it was pointless and still to this day it is asking to update on my Devices about once every week to two weeks and interrupt whatever I’m doing so I have to stop whatever work I’m in the middle of, I get a notification saying that power nap needs to update and I have the option to update it or delete it and obviously I deleted it about four months ago and I want it deleted off my phone still so I don’t know why it’s still even on my devices… Ive checked every single device in it is successfully deleted off of every single one but for some reason there is some bug that keeps popping up every time an update is available… Can you please fix this because it’s very annoying and it slows down my work and it’s just annoying. I deleted the app originally I thought it was deleted permanently off of my iPhone iPad Apple Watch etc. but I was wrong is there any way you can do anything about it to get rid of it? I’ve already reset my phone and other devices

As I wrote in my review a year ago, I would have really liked to have seen the app extend out to a max time of 35 or 40 minutes -- as it takes some time to lie down & settle in - and then actually doze off!

Where the science shows 20 minutes of actual sleep /unconsciousness to be the "sweet spot" for a power nap (one that also avoids sleep inertia upon waking) -- the 30 minute limit found here is too short IMO and hinders the potential of the app.

This limitation is fed by the fact that people generally don't want to feel they need to "rush to get to sleep!" That doesn't work too well, as most people know.

I wrote the developer concerning a slightly extended time limit about a year ago and he seemed to see the value in it. However, with no change having yet been seen, it appears the update will never happen.

Anyway, I've dropped the star score on my review and have since changed over to a nap app called "Nap Slide" -- it is the one I now recommend to others.

Mr Steve
I use this often on my lunch break because if I’m in the building someone has something for me to do
There is a little known street less than a minute from my work and I used the app like this I will read or clean up my junk mail a little stress to the eyes then I can feel when I’m ready for a 20 minute snooze touch the screen with the rain playing and I’m out the gentle alarm brings me back I feel good and am ready for the nonstop busy afternoon
Kelly.Moy,
Please update for compatibility with 15.2 iOS!
I really like this app, it’s simple and just what I need for a quick Power Nap to feel recharged after lunch 🤓 I like the window of time it gives to keep you from setting an alarm for an hour. I found about 13 minutes is the perfect amount of time for me. I also really enjoy the white noise and alarm sound options.

Please make this compatible for my iPhone 12!!!!
Ismain,
Naps and more!
I love my naps, but hate having a heart attack upon weakening to an alarm. This app fixes that. I also like using small chunks of time to read, but hate having to watch the clock or be startled out of my story. I feel as though I'm doing a mental glaucoma test, waiting for that puff of air in my eye. Not anymore! And the ambient noise helps me to focus on my book while time slips by. Yes, it's "just a timer," but it's a gentle one that makes time monitoring pleasant instead of obsessive. I like it. 😊
Itsaprocessiguess,
Nice app but extend the time!
I appreciate this app— I think it’s user friendly, the cat is cute and the sounds are really refreshing. I actually use this as a timer for work (I am writing my dissertation and need to limit how long I allow myself to read rather than write). However, I agree with the views that they should extend the allowed time to take a nap. When I have used it for naps I haven’t fallen asleep right away, and as such was woken up too soon, left bleary and tired.
Co-co rinna,
LOVE IT!!!
This is one of the best apps ever!!! I can't believe how rested and recharged I feel after I wake up! I love the heavy rain sound and could listen to it all day. I do wish that the app could also have an alarm for when you first wake up in the morning, and you could listen to the sound effects before you fall asleep at night. Besides that, I am enjoying the app very much and hope you consider my changes. Thank you!
Teeny ncc,
Perfect for my needs
I was looking for a simple timer for short segments of violin practice- to use along with the timer on my phone which is set for the whole session. Every other app I tried was way too complicated. But this was exactly what I wanted. Easy as pie to set a 3 minute timer (or any length up to 30 minutes). And the cat is cute. I think they should put a meow in the sound/alarm choices, though.
RavenclawSeeker,
Perfect
Amazing app, use it nearly every day. The cat is adorable, the sound options are great (I love sleeping to the sound of rain/storm), and the alarm to wake up is gentle enough that you don't jump up but stir awake. Perfect in every way. Those irritated by the 30 minute limit, I personally don't see that as a downside. 20-30 minutes is ideal for a power nap. If you need more naptime than that then find another app.
