cscrek,
Videos …
I understand this is an old app now, however I think embedding all videos within the app rather than having them stream from somewhere would be a great fix, and maybe a final one.
My iPad 3 could barley handle this gorgeous app, now however neither performance nor storage are a problem for more modern M1 iPads … I mean I have the Blu-ray’s of the series and all, but the app is really worth saving
GryphonDreaming,
Fantastic App!
This is a great app for exploring the universe, from the smallest particle to the biggest mega structure imaginable. It’s enjoyable by all ages. It is beautiful, with gorgeous accompanying music. Think of it as an overall survey of the universe a la Cosmos, rather than a way to look up specific elements like constellations or star names.

(The video streaming has been fixed! This makes me - and my 8 year old - very happy, so I have changed my rating back to 5 stars.)
sputnikbeta,
Do not purchase, videos no longer supported
My 6-year-old loved using this app to discover and learn about space, but one of the primary components of that learning process - watching videos at each location as you explore - no longer functions. It’s such a disappointment to see your child so eager to engage in the learning process only to watch him get frustrated by such a simple thing.

Buyers beware: do not purchase, as this app no longer seems to be supported and a core feature of video streaming no longer functions.
RLGCTR,
No Video Again
I love this app when it is working properly. I updated the app that just fixed the video playback and the app was working great!
Now, Most of the videos and sound do not play at all, but sometimes you can hear the audio but the video isn’t working again.
Could you please correct the video play back again?
I just updated to iOS 14.2 in hopes that this would fix the problem, but it did not.
Please correct the video playback again.
I would be happy to rate you back up to five stars when corrected!
Thanks!

As if..
It was totally unnecessary to include this guy or even his name into app. I really don't see the point in it.

This app could have been about stars, but it would seem as if it was more important to place this man at the centre of the universe than actually focus on it. It would have been charming if they only included his name as a narrator in a separate credits section, but instead it would seem more as if this app was about making a model out of this guy for the science community.

Awful.
shsjjsjssje,
Next update
When is the update going to come I would like to see the next update can you please update it
stuartsippel,
In need of an update
I was blown away by this app when it launched, but it hasn’t been supported for over two years and it really needs some bug-fixes.

I would really like to see an update that addresses issues with video playback not working on some devices.

When using this app on an iPad mini with my 5y/o nephew he was in awe, but disappointed that he couldn’t watch the videos.

Please update for iPhone X or at the very least fix bugs with the app clipping in weird places and the UI being off center.

I really want to love this app again.
pwoiple,
Videos don’t play
The app is breath taking and texts are fascinating. But the videos just won’t play. I expected more from a Harper Collins app. Until this is fixed I will not give it five stars
imr3ns,
Video Streaming FIXED
Thank you so much for finally fixing the video streaming issue. This was and still is one of my favorite iOS apps.
Lets go YANKEES!!!,
Streaming does not work
I used to LOVE this app. It was wonderful when the streaming worked. The streaming seems to no longer work. I was really excited to show my daughter how we know what stars are made of or concepts about time travel when looking at a star. I’ll give it five stars if this gets fixed.
