In the last update we made a change which inadvertantly disabled pro features for some users. We can’t overstate how sorry we are for this issue, but we are super grateful for our lovely users who let us know.

We hope that issue is resolved in this update, but if it isn’t please let us know.

Also, please be aware that if you *are* still seeing the issue you can tap “Restore” in the top left when you see the upgrade screen and that should fix it for you.

With our sincere apologies,

Brilliant news! We've improved reminders for you.

Understanding that everyone's pace is unique, we've fine-tuned our reminders to better match your personal rhythm. If you measure less frequently than weekly, our app now mirrors your habits with less frequent reminders. This means fewer notifications and more seamless, effective support for your individual journey.

Also, we're excited to announce that we've resolved a rare technical hiccup that occasionally caused crashes when exporting progress videos. Now, you can confidently share your progress without a hitch!

Remember, we're here for you at every step of your journey, celebrating every stride you make towards your unique goals. It's not about perfection, it's about making progress, and you're doing fantastically!

With warmth and encouragement,

Your Team at Progress

New feature alert! Create a video of your Progress photos to keep yourself motivated like never before.

Progress uses iCloud to securely store your measurements and encrypted photos. We've had some issues reported for users who turn iCloud off. Although we can't prevent your data from “dissappearing” when iCloud is disabled (as that's what Apple intends to happen), however we are now dealing with that scenario much better and giving you guidance about what's happened and how to resolve it.

Thanks as always,

Lewis

We’ve been working super hard this year on improving the photo comparison section of the app.

This release continues to build on that work:
- Smart Overlay now removes the background from your images(!)
- The Photos Screen now respects the Start Over setting
- The Photos screen now works better when there is only one photo
- The Measurements Comparison overlay now includes Total Measurements again and is more consistent with the My Progress screen

We are currently working hard on improving the photos section of the app and would really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts and feedback with us.
Your input will help us make the app even better, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thanks as always,

We’ve given the photo comparison screen an overhaul. Most of the work is behind the scenes, but there are no controls to scroll to the first and last photo. This update also fixes some bugs in this is area which have been introduced by recent ios changes, and lays the ground work for further improvements in future.

If you have any feedback I’d love to hear it! Please get in touch from within the app.

Happy New Year everyone and thank you for your continued support,

Emma has worked tirelessly for the last few years providing amazing support to anyone who’s been in touch. Not only has she done an amazing job (you just need to look through the reviews to see people mentioning what great support they get), but she’s freed up a lot of time for me to work on fixing issues and adding new features. All this whilst raising an amazing kid and enduring a global pandemic.

Emma is now moving on to a great new opportunity and I’d like to take this chance to thank her and wish her all the best for the future. Thanks so much Emma!!

Worth Every Penny!
SUCH a great way to track your progress. You can get as involved as tracking measurements for everything from your neck to your waist to both biceps, both forearms, both calves... Or, if you’re not into going to quite THAT extent (I’m no bodybuilder that’s striving for symmetry!), then you can track your weight, water percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, waist-to-hip ratio, BMI...
Ultimately, all the bells & whistles are there (including places for photos, if you’d like to track using as many pics as you’d like!)- but you don’t have to use everything that is offered if it’s too much or stresses you out. This is a nice, simple, user friendly interface that lets YOU decide what is best for you, what to track, and how often. I’ve tried multiple progress trackers, and this is the one I swear by as it doesn’t badger me, stress me out, and yet still allows me to pick & choose exactly what data points are important to me personally from a tracking perspective. They also have great graph reporting to help you see your progress/patterns, if you choose to take advantage of that.
cjbrucks,
Almost Perfect
This will be great for what we want to track. Might I make a suggestion though. Add the ability to add a weight check daily. Obviously I don’t want to measure everything daily but most people like to check their weight each day. Currently you have to do everything for an update. Next it would be great to see some trend charts possibly using something like PowerBI reporting. I haven’t exported data yet so I might be able to do that later but it would be great to have it all in one place. Add those features and this would be a perfect app for me. I would be even willing to pay a slightly higher cost for the subscription fee to have a one stop shop. Overall easy to navigate and I recommend. I did have trouble entering my name where it took a couple tries as it only captured one or two characters but once manipulated and updated it now stays.
NellSpree,
Well worth the money
When searching for an app to track measurements, I came across a recommendation for this one and another app. I downloaded the free versions of both and got started. I was tempted to buy the full version to access the photo feature, but hesitant to spend $5 (the other app had similar features and was only $2), but the reviews and the developer’s care and investment in the app impressed me so I decided to go for it. I’m so glad I did. It really matters to me that my info isn’t being sold and that my photos are secure, and that seems to be a priority for this developer. The app is easy to use and really helpful in tracking my fitness journey. I was able to check out a friend who had purchased the full version of the other app I had considered and again I’m impressed by the features and layout of this one- definitely made the right choice.
Nrdog,
Great Tracker & Customer Service
When I first downloaded the app I had issues with it and emailed support. They were most helpful and upgraded me to pro for all my issues. I just emailed again with a question and heard within hours. The developers care about their app and their customers who use it which is getting to be rare it seems.

I love being able to easily track different measurements and although I haven’t used the photo section yet it is a nice way of viewing progress.

What I’m not sure about is how it works with FitBit because I don’t see any updates in FitBit coming from Progress but that being said I may not know what it’s doing and my FitBit app has been acting up so I cannot fault Progress for that. I’m sure if it is on Progress side their wonderful Support will take care of the issue.

They do have a free measurement guide that they email. I wish it was part of the measurements themselves so you can see how to measure directly in the same screen you add it. That would be my only recommendation.

If you want a simple tracker and great support, this app is definitely for you.
Theonetheycallbenjumin,
So far I love it!
While I like the app overall and it seems to be an effective weight/measurement tracker so far, there are a couple things that have been driving me nuts. If you want to go in and change/log a certain measurement, you have to go through all your selected measurements in order to do so (ex. You want to just update weight without doing waist/hip/etc, you have to still click through them). Not horrible, but a bit obnoxious. It’s the same to add photos (it would be a lot better if you could add progress photos without making an entire new entry with all the measurements). Also, be sure you have SCREEN LOCK turned ON! If your phone happens to accidentally rotate while working on a new entry ALL of the measurements you’ve already entered for it are erased, it takes you back to the home page, and you have to start over >_<
LeeshaGoldeyes,
Great for measuring other than body weight
This is for the paid version. So easy to use; it’ll track body fat percentage and muscle mass; body measurements and many more and it’s so easy to log and keep track of your progress. I use it with a scale that gives me body composition info, but it’s not a smart scale that feeds to an app, so I needed an app that I could input manual entries, and this is perfect. *** Note to developer: please change the color of the changes to muscle mass. It indicates green when muscle mass decreases, it should show as green if muscle mass increases and red if it decreases. (When weight, BMI and body fat % decreases, the app indicates this with a green circle to indicate you’re doing good, If they increase, there’s a red circle, meaning you’re going in the wrong direction) Thanks!
cdtaylor5,
Awesome app and customer service
I been having this application for YEARS. It allows you to put in the measurements we all need. I personally love the way it looks now compared to the past. They had a bug issue recently and instead ignoring their clients they fixed the issue. I personally emailed them about the problem, they sent a work around link solution so I could continue to measure myself, then when they fixed the problem they personally followed up and sent an updated link that connected both the old and the new app. Awesome customer service!!!
Dmt12268,
Problems with the app
Lewis,
It appears the app has some issues. I could not get the message to send in the contact us section so I’m messaging you here. It kept saying to fill in all fields but there is only a subject line and message field. The two attachments were grayed out. ??
My other issue is I have tried to upgrade several times but it isn’t working. I will be asking for a refund of anything I’m billed over the one upgrade fee of 4.99 in the event I’m charged for all of my attempts. The tap her to pay is on the upper right hand side of the screen which is odd and it doesn’t appear to be functioning. I think this will be a great app if I can actually get started with it.
Thank you.
D. Thomas
M102117RC,
Great customer service
I wanted an app for tracking changes in my size and this is the best I’ve found that allows me to do that. It enables me to measure my body parts with a tape measure and set a goal to lose or gain a specific number of inches, including setting weekly notifications to weigh myself and input the new measurement. I’m extremely pleased with the user interface and the responsive customer service. This app is a great option for anyone who doesn’t want to restrict themselves to just weight tracking or who wants to avoid weight tracking altogether and just focus on tracking body size.
CosmicSquirt,
Difficult on purpose
I used to love this app and rave about its. Then all of a sudden they made changes for the worse. Now, if you change the orientation on the phone (even accidentally) or switch to another app (to get your weight, pics, etc), everything you entered will erase and you’ll have to start over again from square one by measuring each part of your body again. It’s already a tedious process and they’ve made it even more so. And when you write to support, they tell you it’s on purpose. So if you don’t want to be frustrated beyond belief tearing out your hair as you measure each body part over and over and over, you better write down each measurement first and only use this app as a way to organize those pen and paper notes. Because this. app. will. frustrate. you. to. tears.
