Good app but could use some improvements
I found the app pretty easy to use, it lets you know when to take the ovulation confirmation test strips. And gave me a score and told me I had low pdg so I was able to start progesterone after falling pregnant this cycle. One thing about the app I didn’t like was when you take a pic of your test strip you can’t preview it and submit or take a different one. So if the lighting isn’t great, or there are shadows you may not get an accurate reading. You can take a pic outside the app and then upload it to app to counter this but I’d rather have the feature within the app itself. Ability to make changes to things easier without having to contact proov customer help.
The girls are so friendly and helpful in the proov Facebook group, very supportive and lots of information given! My infertility acupuncturist is going to be learning more about the new proov products to see if it’s something she will recommend to her patients too.

Love the app. Update not so much.
I have pcos and I use these strips most of my cycle. I typically start taking multi hormone tests and lh tests around Cd 8 or cd9. I can't do that anymore. The app won't allow me to upload anything other than my fsh test. A lot of women ovulate on Cd 14. How can you predict more fertile days when you can't even test until the day you ovulate? I have to buy 2 complete irregular boxes every cycle. As well as 2 cycle amount of lh tests to ensure I can multi hormone test and then lh later in the day as my peak is less than 24 hours long. That a lot of money just for the app not to read them like it's supposed to. I am Cd 9 and got a high fertility on my clear blue digital. But I can't multi hormone test with proov. Or even upload just an lh test.

Do not get if you have iphone 14pro
I was SUPER excited to get my proov order. So much so that I emailed them to change my shipping from standard to express. They were great help. I have been trying to use their strips but have become very frustrated with the fact that their app does not work with the newer camera system on the iphone 14. It gives me so much trouble when trying to take a photo. I have to hold the camera a foot and a half away for the picture to be clear but at that far away it didn’t capture the true color of the test. So even though my one test was darker than the one before, it read it as lighter. Which is super frustrating. The app doesn’t give you an option to go back and submit a different photo, instead it tells you to contact customer support. The whole thing is super frustrating when ttc in the first place is difficult. I feel like the whole complete kit was a waste of money. Don’t get fooled like I did if you have a 14 pro.

Know your body!
I started my Proov journey by purchasing the Confirm test kit. I had been using LH tests by another company but wanted to actually confirm ovulation. The app was easy to use and gave quantitative and qualitative data for each of my tests, culminating in an “ovulation score” and guidance. I was so pleased with how this app organized data that I purchased new LH strips through them to continue my tracking. Their customer service is also incredible. I incorrectly scanned one of my strips and was worried because I couldn’t updo the data. I emailed them for help and they responded within the hour!
I look forward to new updates on the app to track things like BBT and a wider variety of symptoms. It’s so important to me to learn about my body, and Proov is making that possible without invasive testing and doctors appointments.

SO HAPPYYYY! The besttttt
Omg so let me start off by saying I’m only 21 and I was having scares that I wouldn’t be able to have children because we’ve been trying for like 2 years but stopped because it was too much and heartbreaking on my end so I decided to get in touch with my fertility since the doctors gaslight me and don’t take me serious due to my age also don’t want me to have children due to my age but that’s not their decision! So I bought OPKS and then the pdg tests from Proov and this has been a breeze seriously I wish I would have been done it. I got my first positive today (7dpp) I’m gonna keep testing don’t wanna get too excited but omg THANK YOU PROOV I would’ve never known any problems I’ve had w/o your test and app 10/10 ! Please order rn! & download app if you have any worries girlys !!!

Can’t see or delete current or past test strips
I really don’t like that you can’t see your test strips or delete them. If your lighting is poor or there are any shadows once you have captured and uploaded, that’s that. In order to have a test removed you have to email them and even then they give you some explanation on calibration and how to do it correctly the next time. Sometimes we make mistakes or the lens doesn’t capture properly… we don’t need a lecture. If your hormone levels are where they’re supposed to be the app will tell you they’re not. It’s frustrating and this needs to be fixed so we can upload a new test in the event that the last one had bad lighting, blurriness, etc. We spend a crazy amount of money on these products, we should be able to see our strips, edit and re-upload if needed not just see the “results” or “interpretation”.

It helped me understand my cycle better!
The Proov app and system worked for me in one cycle. I have tracked my cycle for years but after trying for a few cycles with no luck, I decided to try Proov. I got the ovulation kit with the ovulation confirmation. I ordered extra strips to narrow down my window and probably tested way too much. However, it worked. I will say that the app says I had a “weak ovulation” and probably wouldn’t get pregnant that cycle but that is obviously not true. We had our 9 week OB appt and baby has a strong heartbeat of 160bpm. So I will say that the ovulation confirmation is just a jumping off point but it is not as scientific as it probably comes off. However, I’m grateful it worked!

Two months using Propv and I got my BFP!!!
I knew I had something off with my hormones but wasn’t convinced I needed to do a blood panel yet…I heard about Proov through and influencer I follow Lauren Lane. I figured what could it hurt and tried it out. My first cycle I learn that I had low progesterone just barely below what it should be to have a strong and healthy uterus for baby to stick and grow. After learning that, I bought Proov’s balancing oil and used ritually as directed. The next month while testing my pdg it had significantly increased and on my last day of testing my pdg I got my first BFP!! Highly recommend!

Changes make this app almost unusable
I am a big fan of Proov’s test strips and was enjoying using the app to track my cycle. The most recently released updates make this app much more difficult to use. You have to walk through the steps to test every single day…. Simple things like “turn your phone around” to take a photo have their own screen. You’re hitting “continue” 7 times just to take a photo of your test strip. We’re doing this almost every day - we don’t need the instructions over and over! You also can only take a photo with your camera in real time. There’s no option to upload a photo. Considering how long it now takes to log a test, it would be much easier to snap a photo and upload when you have more time. Please give us back the old app!

This app has changed the way that I track and understand my cycle entirely! Not only is the customer service helpful and responsive but the online community via Facebook is supportive, informative, and knowledgeable. Created is one that it is easy to participate in and connect with others with similar questions, struggles, and goals. The women of proov go above and beyond to help users not only understand the app and tests themselves but also what is happening in our bodies and how to advocate for ourselves at our health.
