Been playing daily for years; probably time for some feedback
Multiple times per day, to clarify. Obviously, I’m a fan. I used to play on a desktop, using a mouse; now I’m on an iPad. The touchscreen could be a little more sensitive, but I don’t think that can be put on the shoulders of the game. I do wish there was, even as a paid feature, the option of calling back a game to replay, so I could see if a different strategy might have been better. I seem to recall that there used to be the option of seeing high scores, not just for myself, but of all players. Is that a feature which no longer exists, or did I dream it? If real, I seem to recall some preposterously high scores. Finally, I wonder if there is any online forum or discussion group, as I’d be curious to see what others have to say about strategies they employ. Overall, this is a solidly entertaining/addictive game.

This game is addictive but has its quirks & flaws. You used to be able to turn the game to a landscape view where you could use both thumbs. It was sometimes a much faster game & definitely easier on the wrist. The 3 flaws are usually enough for me to delete the game for an extended period of time before downloading again & giving it another shot, in hopes that it was improved since the last time I played. Those 3 flaws are:
1) the time it takes for the game to come to a close, go to an advertisement then come back to the game by fading in & reloading. It takes a very long time, in terms of gaming & it’s not gotten any shorter in all these years, whereas most games have shortened their wait times between games by now.
2) when the game reloads & you go to make your first moves pairing 2 cards, the first card you tap doesn’t register because the game is not ready. It’s the most frustrating thing to have a game that is timed not let you begin as soon as the game opens. You actually have to wait for the game to respond AFTER it has officially begun.
3) the fact that you have to move a card to the holding place in order to pair it with the card that was under it is not only ridiculous but a big waste of time. The improvement should be to double tap the top card then tap the underneath card to make a pair.
That would greatly improve the playability of the game, improve the times & improve engagement.

Very Disappointed with update

I need help. The latest version has a very disappointing BUG! Please have customer service email me about this as it is IMPOSSIBLE to win a round now with out this bug being fixed! I’ve been playing this game for several years now. It used to be that you could strategically move the cards around to make your 13 but now it’s impossible to complete more than two rounds in a row sometimes not even a single round. What happened? I used to be at the very least complete 4-5 rounds in a row and sometimes go all the way to 15-19 rounds. Which is why I used to love it because of the challenge! Please work to fix what is broken!

Good Game but weird scoring!
I've played this game for many years and recently, within the last couple months, I began resetting my scores at the first of each month. So the first several games I play, if I don’t clear all the cards in the pyramid, I’ve lost and you start a new game. But as I continue to play throughout the month, it doesn’t matter if I clear the first pyramid or not, you let the score accumulate until some point, which I don’t get that either, you end that game! Now I’m thinking I may give up playing altogether because I don’t know what or how you are doing the scoring and it’s just not fun. It’s not the losing that bothers me, it’s the inconsistent scoring I don’t get. Therefore since I have no clue to what you are doing, it just not fun anymore! Who wants to play 10 games playing only one round and scoring no more than a couple thousand only to find in later games you are up to hundreds of thousands and you didn’t actually clear every pyramid on each round and at that point you still won’t know when the game will end!

This game is highly addictive and I do mean addictive. This is my all time favorite solitary game. Many have come but non to match. Above the rest, Pyramid Solitaire keeps me coming back to play several times daily. Excellent game if you love solitaire. Still my favorite game of Solitaire. Say I'm addicted and you would be on point. Played many years and still can't get enough. After the last 5 years and still counting, Pyramid Solitaire remains my No.1 solitaire game. It has to be good to make me play so much throughout the day. Pyramid Solitaire, one of the best. What more can I say? This is an excellent game of Solitaire that will keep you coming back daily. Still No.1.

Great time.......every time.
There are certainly a lot of game apps out there but this is one of those that I come back to again and again and again. A couple of times it froze and I had to reinstall it after deleting it but I can go away for months and then come back to it and play it like hours a day for weeks on end and then come back to it a month later it's still the great enjoyable game then it was. My wife introduced me to this game and I've been like an addict ever sense. To all those junkies out there who have nothing to say but bad things go stick your head in the ground and look for another game. There are 1 million out there!

Latest update = no improvement
Update Oct. 2019 - Yet another update that makes it worse. After all the complaints about elimination of landscape mode, that wasn’t fixed. Now there’s an extra step at the end of each round, you have to choose between arrows and confirm after selecting “take points”. Developers are totally out of tune with what the PAYING customers want.
Previous reviews: Have played this game for many years, going back to my first iPhone 4. I especially like the fact that it’s an offline game so I can play it where there’s no WiFi or cell data signal. But portrait mode just doesn’t do anything for me. Moving up instead of left to park a card, for example. Please bring back the original landscape, or at least give us the option to play in either mode! Really dislike the new portrait mode.

Ancient Pyramid Solitaire
Love the game. It's my go-to game for pure escapism! You can just tap away on the cards and take what the game gives you; or, you can think a little to plan your moves ahead.
Had to pay to remove the ads; but it was money well-spent not having to put up with them.

HATE the latest changes
I find holding the phone in portrait mode VERY awkward! I will probably quit playing this game because of the awkwardness! You should’ve offered a different version leaving the ole version available for those of us who prefer that! The new orientation slows me down since I have to play with one finger instead of two thumbs. Also, the excessively LONG ads are so annoying I simply lay my phone aside to wait it out. I would NEVER click to add whatever game they are advertising as I figure I would just be subjected to more excessively long ads on the new game as well. Short ads are much more likely to pique my interest and tempt me to check out a new game.

I do not like the new portrait mode AT ALL!!
I really like this game. I play it every day, a couple games here and there.

I play on an iPhone8+, which is a large phone, and it is not very easy to play with one hand. Also, with portrait mode, everything is more spread out, so you have to reach farther to play, move cards, tap the deck, etc. I prefer landscape mode, which is easier to play with 2 hands.
It would be nice if they gave the option of choosing which mode you prefer.
