Bdmgee,
The best!!
The app I’ve been looking for, perfectly layered out in every way Alhamdulillah. Initially, I was searching for a simple list of the most commonly used words in the Quran for memorization. So, that upon reading the Quran, I am more equipped to naturally understand what’s written in its original Arabic. However, this app exceeded my expectations drastically. There are several different practice regimes utilizing the most commonly used words from particular sections within the Quran. Sections that discuss the lives of the prophets (PBUT), and simultaneously help you to memorize what occurred in each one’s (PBUT) life as depicted by the Quran. I have yet to fully explore the app; and full disclosure, I’m only about 30 minutes into using it. Which should speak volumes to how well it is designed. I’m thrilled to be using this app Alhamdulillah, and may Allah bless each and everyone of the individuals responsible for the fruition of an application as intricately designed as such. Ameen. I’ll do my best to bring more people to this app, and I would not be opposed to paying a small subscription if ever needed to help keep the platform running when users increase. JazakhAllahu khairan, thank you.
Islam Chicago,
Making Arabic Accessible
This app is great for kids, beginners in Arabic, and anyone interested in having a starting point to build their Arabic vocabulary pertaining to the Quran. I love how you can listen to the words you are focusing on learning and the mini stories that accompany them.

To make this app even better, I would suggest having the translation of the vocalists in the learning section mirror more the order of the words as the appear in the translation as to begin to see grammar patterns that can be introduced later in the app or taught separately outside of the app. I think it would prepare learners who wish to gain more knowledge of Arabic in this way indirectly.

Additionally, I love how you have flash cards that you can hear the words you are learning as well. I think it might also be nice to have the verse we learned them accompany them as an option to hear the overall way it is recited in the text. This feature may also potentially make more sense during the learning process as well as to hear both the word by itself and strung together in the verse. Again this is to make it easy for the non native Arabic speaker to immerse themselves in the language seeing how the word visually looks and sounds by itself and accompanying the words if that makes sense? All this is to inshallah make this great app even better and more useful for people who use it!
Hummzaaaa,
AMAZING!!!
I just love this app! I know how to read and pronounce the words of Arabic, but never understood the meaning! I saw this app and alhamdulilah I have just learned SOOO much! Wallahi u guys are doing an incredible job! I have always wanted to know what I am reading in the Quran so I can have a much more deeper relationship with my deen! I cannot thank you guys enough! May Allah bless all of you and grant you Jannah-tul-Firdaus for your beautiful work! Again keep up the great work! I would suggest for you guys to include various reciters of the Quran as well as the Athan such as Mishary Al Afasy to just listen to the audio of a Surah and the Athan! Also try to include a Qibla finder as all these items together are perfect for Muslims everywhere! We will not need any other app besides this! May Allah protect you guys and bless you with rewards in the Dunya as well as the Akhira! May Allah have mercy on you guys and give you ease as you are helping the whole ummah around the world!
Darakhshan17,
Excellent!
I studied Arabic as coursework during my undergraduate studies and quickly forgot. Later, I also tried to study it yet again when my local masjid held a class. However, life happened and I was blessed with a baby, so I couldn’t continue. This app helps me keep my connection with the Quran on the go. I have two kids now and a full time job and I love that I can do the exercises as one (or both) of my kids are sleeping on me or when I am waiting for something at work! This is an excellent app. Even if you know most words initially, it still allows you to review the words and connect to the Quran because every exercise has a theme related to a chapter. I was inspired by Ustad Adam’s talk at my brother’s wedding, so I expected no less from him and his team, subhanallah. May Allah reward you all immensely for helping me keep this connection going. Ameen. It is so easy to feel like you are missing out when life’s demands increase.
Gkadeem450,
Best App to Learn Qur’anic Arabic and the Qur’an
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته!
I came across this app while researching the best English Translation of the Qur’an. I downloaded it and immediately fell in love and it increased my knowledge in what I thought I could understand by at least 2x الحمد الله. This app is surely a one stop shop for something who wants to not only learn Arabic, but for someone who wants to read the Qur’an as well. It has feature similar to Zoom Breakout rooms to chat with other like minded individuals, flash cards, prayer times, shorts lessons to help with grammar, and stories to help you learn about the Qur’an better and etc. I highly recommend you getting the subscription it only makes the experience that much better.
epicles,
Helpful and an easy way to learn the vocabulary in the Quran
I became a Muslim 2 1/2 years ago, and I knew no Arabic whatsoever. In the first year I learned how to read the Quran but very slowly, I took a couple classes but found it tedious at first. Memorizing the vocabulary was difficult at first. I decided to go overseas to study Arabic, and for about three or four months I studied on this app. Now after a year and a half of studying in Egypt, I still find it beneficial to come back and take the quizzes, as there are words I sometimes forget the meetings to. The strange thing about this app, is the form that they give you the af’Aal in is often majzoom or mansoob which is strange to see especially when the f’il is Mutall. So I wish it when the to the original form instead of تكن تر نريَ because the standard makes things apparent. And later when people learn naho and sarf they will know it’s Marfoo’ form and whatnot.

And maybe a separation between fil ism and harf with the flash cards could be helpful.
1018kat,
Amazing app
I tried years ago to learn to read Arabic, in hopes to be able to read Quran one day. I even had a Dear Sister that I started with. Most of the lessons did not stick.
The pronunciations ARE CLEAR… I’m able to FINALLY see the “a”, “i”, “u” in the letters, this was never showed to me before, if so I believe I might’ve understand and able to identity the letter( sound)
And when starting the small words, I’m able to see the “sounds” and this helps me identify!
I’m SO HAPPY WITH THIS APP!
Now for sone constructive criticism…
In the letters, Each lesson is building on the next… with that in mind, I believe the previous should be used in the review when reviewing the new lesson. This reinforces what was learned.
I do not mind going back… but I do wish they added them in the next review.
I have even had my grandsons download, they LOVE the challenge, and I’m sure this will help them in their journey.
Thank you for making this free!!!
JazakAllahu Khairun!!
Regards, Kat
aali---,
Love the idea but it needs something else
I’ve been using this app for a while and I love the design and the story aspect. But I find it hard to retain the words I learn. Sometimes I’ll find a word that has the same meaning and I’ll get frustrated. I think you guys should make a list of the words with similar meanings so people don’t have to make custom lists to test themselves. I really think it will help. Or instead of stories you have a list of words that have similar meanings and then pick ayahs that use those words. The latter option will be harder to implement but I honestly love this app and I would like it to help all kinds of learners. Also I found some mistakes in some definitions you might want to double check. :)
~Mario.M,
Great app
It would be great to match an English word from a list of Arabic ones. Here are a few bugs I’ve come across. - when a test is completed at the end, it isn’t marked as completed. - swiping from left slightly causes the quiz page to lose all content. - matching Arabic/English with word with another one accidentally should deselect the first.
- exact same answers are provided and selecting one of them is either right or wrong - translate option is hidden in translate tab when all hearts are lost, but it’s still accessible through the lessons page. - the images take a long time to load when starting a lesson.
Zayna_642,
Great app
This app is awesome. The review feature is great because it really makes you learn the words by seeing them over and over again. The only thing I wish it had was the definitions of the new words written side by side at the beginning of the lesson. I feel that seeing them will give one a chance to study them before trying to figure out which goes in the story.
I am so far on lesson 22. In the beginning I didn’t think it was sinking in but now I am starting to make out words when I see them in the Quran. My husband and I both use this app and we love it.
Jazza’kallah khair for your efforts.
