As a fan of Radiation Island, this game was the improvement we were all waiting on.
Pros first:
-Fantastic map, very huge as well
-Less focus on crafting, which makes the game feel less grindy and more adventure-y, as well as difficult
-Stupid amount of buildings to loot, like I swear it would take a year to loot the entire city part of the map, because it seems as if every building is enterable, something that many games, even games like DayZ, fail at doing.
-Addition of cars, makes traveling not as difficult
-Spread of zombies, finally some in the wilderness, which is more like a zombie apocalypse
The list goes on and on, but I would like to address some of the cons of the game, or small problems I've seen.
-Cars randomly disappear sometimes, and from reading other reviews it seems to be a common bug, but I'm sure it's an easy fix
-The radiation suit guys who shoot the green blobs at you are incredibly powerful. I'm not saying it's an issue, but holy moley, maybe take down their power a notch or two, they can almost two shot me, even after some upgrades to my vitality
-Day/night cycle is a little funky, it will zoom to nighttime so fast, and then back to day. Maybe slowing this down would make it less jolting.
All in all, I rate this game 9.5/10, and I recommend it to anyone who liked Radiation Island.
