It NEVER connects
I have used this app in the past and it worked OK.
Now I can’t get it to connect no matter what I try.
I am running Reflector Director 3 on my computer.
I know my devices are on the same network (I can ping my iPad from my PC). This just needs to work without chanting and without voodoo

Won’t Connect
If you are like me and you don’t have a degree in advanced engineering, you require apps that are simple and easy to use. This app is not one of them. This app requires a network connection to work perfectly between your iPad and computer. I have fiber optic wi fi that is extremely fast, but it just wouldn’t connect. I tried a dozen times, and it just kept giving me a network error message. I would not invest money in this app at all. I wish they offered refunds...

SCAM WARNING
I followed the steps on the website and they said to open this app. Much to my surprise it costs money, on top of the pricey computer application. After opening it, it does not show the same screen as shown on their website, nor does it connect at all as promised. This is a literal scam. Don’t buy it or the computer application, they don’t work. 0/10 I am filing a chargeback.

You do not need to download to use reflector software. Go to website help page for info on how to connect phone to computer!

Most Excellent Application - Except
I now love this app! The only problem, it's confusing to set up, or at least it appears to be. If you open it's sister application on your computer, it looks as if no device is syncing. But, if you start a video, there is an option, in the form of a small television screen, at the bottom of your iPhone, iPod, or iPad video app. Tap and you're up and running.
Don't get tied up in looking for a connection from Reflector 2, as long as you are on the same network, and you see the green connection icon lit up in reflector 2, regardless if it says no device detected, just play a video and select it as your source. It's just like selecting Bluetooth or speaker, except there is another option available ( not in iPhone etc settings, but the video source itself ).
It took me hours to figure out that I was already connected, until I opened a video app and felt like an idiot.
I get lots of tutorial videos from macProVideo, and they run perfectly on my PC.
Hope this helps.
