Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. The subscription will renew at the same cost.

Great app but....
I’ve used it for severe years now, I believe since inception. It’s smooth, to the point, and user friendly. My only issue is the transition to the Apple Watch. It’s dependent to my phone. I’d like to use the app without my phone. Unfortunately I’ve stopped the subscription until that happens. Thank you for all you have given and I’m sure you will grow.

Almost perfect, but really frustrating
Been using this app for years. Developer is an amazing designer, and I don’t know how others at the gym get by without it. Only frustration: if the Watch app crashes or closes during your workout (as it is want to do), the entire workout to that point is lost. So if the app crashes with 2 min left in your workout, only the last 2 minutes get recorded to Apple Health as a workout. This also means your other metrics like HR look wrong (e.g. that 100+ HR that now does not appear to have been during a workout). Only happens once a month or so, but it is VERY frustrating when it does.

Subscription base model
In the description it says the app cost $.99, but it does not tell you that it cost $.99 per month. I hope you lose for making a subscription-based model app. I’d rather pay $20 one time for professional app than being milked slowly over time like I’m being slowly bled to death.

Update: With everything going to a subscription base models and sometime even after I paid full price for it, maybe you can forgive me for being very suspicious of an app that has any kind of subscription model built into it whatsoever. Subscription apps are going to be the death of us. Not only do we not own anything anymore, but they slowly add up at a point of almost having like another car payment each month.

Perfect for logging / planning. Even better for graphing / history.
This has been my go to app for logging my "reps and sets" for a few years now.

About to go premium to try out on my Apple watch but the app on the phone is stellar as a stand alone product.

I am a firm believer in either one more rep or weight increase from the last time I did that exercise and this app allows me to easily track that goal and continually improve.

The history graphs are numerous and provide excellent quick reference (or a deep dive if you need it) to your history for individual exercises.

Perfect balance of being simplistic when logging during weight training and advanced when digging deeper to get a better understanding of my improvement over time.

Hoping the watch app allows me to leave my phone in the locker.

Great gym app (updated review)
U2: I can no longer use the watch as it always tries “Contacting iPhone”. I’ll stop my subscription until this is fixed. It’s unfortunate, this was such a good app.

U: it seems like the app is kind of forgotten. It’d be nice to get an update for iPhone X and some watch speed up. With the latest iOS & watchOS the app still kind of works but the UI tends to queue up exercises you completed and then all of a sudden finishes them.

For an app with a subscription fee I feel a small update to fix these issues is pretty important.

I use this app for every workout and after trying several others this is by far my favourite. It is simple, it lets you focus on lifting, it is well integrated with iOS and gives just the right amount of stats. However, the workouts (stock and downloadable) are a little lacking but once you set up your personal workouts that little hurdle becomes irrelevant.

Abandoned?
I’ve been using this app for over 9 years and don’t want to lose my workout history, but there hasn’t been an update in 2 years. Still works pretty well but wish it were more actively maintained and took advantage of latest iOS features. I’ve also been a premium subscriber for years and not sure what I am paying for. Going to look around at competitors.

Was a perfect app, now can’t download any workouts
I haven’t used the app in over a year and thought it was 5 stars back when I last used it. I was excited to start using it again but unfortunately it may not be compatible with ios13 because I’m not able to download any workouts in the app which renders it useless. Hopefully this is fixed with ios13 update. Would love to update my rating back to 5 stars and I’m positive I would if I was able to use it again.

Was fine until latest updates
Been using it for years and has been reliable. Now with the latest updates it constantly crashes in the middle of a workout. I’ve exited, restarted phone, nothing helps. I don’t want to delete the app and my data until I can back it up. Please fix this issue.

App crashes - timer bug
Great app but it crashes every time more than 1 timer is going at the same time. Usually happens when I have timers set as part of an exercise, but switch to mix in a different exercise. The app crashes on reopen and will only function once the timer(a) time out.

5/6/20 and app is working great
Quick update and working great!! Love the dark mode! On workout 1614, over 428k reps and over 39k sets logged. I love being able to see the history of just how far I’ve improved in the last 5 1/2 years.
