JaxRyz,
A surprisingly good app!
I downloaded this app a couple weeks ago, left a particularly nasty review because of the $10 paid subscription for the full version (more than most appstore purchases) but I've been using the free version of the app quite frequently and made multiple characters, it's really quite fantastic after getting over that! I'm still a slight bit irked, otherwise this would be a solid 5 star review, but the free version includes a variety of character choices and is very easy to edit and navigate your character sheet. That being said, I have seen a couple features that the app sorely lacks that it would benefit greatly to have! The big one for me is lack of a proper inventory. There's an inventory there already, but it seems to be limited to equipment and such, and isn't really a true inventory. at the very least I think it would be incredibly useful to have a quick-select menu to common dnd items, the kind of thing you could find in any major city or town's shops, that you could pick and choose to add to your inventory. That way I can quickly navigate my character's massive amount of ball bearings or whatever else you would be collecting in bulk! That's really just a personal gripe though, overall this is a grat app and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an easy way to manage your character!
sky_dye,
Just downloaded, but already getting a lot of use out of it!
My fiancé and I are pretty new to the world of D&D but we’re super excited to dive in and start playing, and the only hang up we’ve been having so far is the complications of character creations, and all the stuff that goes into it. I saw this app on the AppStore and decided why not, might as well try it. Only 20 mins into it so far and I’ve already rounded out two of the characters I was planning on creating. It’s nice to have a visual representation of the character, bc even though I’m artistically inclined, I don’t really wanna spend hours drawing while I’m also trying to just figure out the stats & details of each character.

My only complaint so far is the limited races, because I’ve had my heart set on creating a Kenku rogue and it looks like that’s not an available race. In the upgraded version (costs money) you can add birdlike “helms” to a humanoid character to make them have a bird head, so I guess that’s one way around it but it’d be nice to just have like a bird-folk race available.

TLDR; I like it well enough and even the free version is a great option if you want a visual representation of your rpg or dnd character/s without spending a bunch of time or money
AurelianKnight,
Great App
This app is great. Even just the basic version was enough to spark a good amount of creativity for creating characters. The full version, however, has so much more. There’s a wide variety of gear to kit your characters out with, some of it I can see some possible inspiration from other games like Dark Souls or Soulcalibur, which is awesome in my opinion. The pixel art for all of these pieces of equipment is also really good. It could easily fit into a full game, or being animated slightly even.

The biggest issue, which is fine for a free app let alone one developed by what I assume to be a moderately sized team, if not one person, is that it’s a bit glitchy. Sometimes the art will disappear, mostly with the face art, or the sliders for coloring something won’t have any effect unless you reset it w few times. But despite these small problems the character art and customization more than make up for it.

Also, I emailed the dev with an issue I was having and they responded within the day, and were very friendly about helping me to boot. So if you like friendly devs and want to support them, get the app.
Scott Benshoof,
Would give it six stars if I could
I don’t usually leave reviews, but here goes. When you get an app, they’re usually advertised as better than they, and there is a little dissatisfaction at some point. This is not the case with Reroll. On top of having a massive variety of gorgeous equipment, everything has a set of sliders for individual perfection. If you don’t have the money or just don’t spend money on mobile games and apps (like me) even the free version has enough selection to loosely make what you want. But I recommend the full version (which I got) for ultimate customization. All that aside, as a big D&D player who never had the extra money to get a legendary bundle at d&d beyond, this fixes any need for electronic character sheets and it’s only ten dollars. The UI is smooth and intuitive, it has changeable features like health and spell slots, and a space to put homebrew or non SRD content. And to top it all off... the questions and feedback contact is a real person who is actually helpful and timely. To summarize it all, I really wish I could give it six stars, for going beyond being a great app to being an astounding one.

Proud to Support
I LOVE THIS APP!!!!! I have gone through about 20 different character sheet and database apps for 5e and none can compare to the user friendliness and intuitive design this has to offer! Seeing a demo and standard version at first made me skeptical about the app but this was quickly erased once I saw the creativity put in to this app. I gladly payed the seven bucks (discount from 10$) to unlock everything else. I will recommend this to everyone who plays dnd. My only criticisms are more of possible ideas for the app is to add a “child” feature for races and to continue adding content (weapons, armor, etc). Two really cool includes would be to add mounts and monsters but as separate characters for custom armor and such. For me personally its because I play as a paladin who always has a warhorse. Up until recent that is. New dnd book provided a dragonlord oath which provides a dragon as a mount. Again app is incredible and everyone needs to pay these developers so they can keep up the great work and keep giving amazing content. P.S. for developers. Is there a subscription? I would love to give something back in to hopefully motivate in adding more content.

Good app
I have an iPhone 6, so I couldn’t get the D&D beyond app because my iOS can’t update anymore. I looked around, and then I found this app. It looked like more of an art app and not a character sheet app, but I figured I’d try the demo. I created a character, and the character sheet was pretty customizable and easy to work with. Sometimes there’s weird glitches where half the page won’t load, and you have to exit the character and renter, but that doesn’t really irk me much. (My phone screen doesn’t work half the time, so it’s not a bother when the app seems to work well anyway.) Anyway, this works really well as a character sheet, and it’s cool to create my characters with art. The only feature suggestion I would make is this: add a way to create your own pixel art in the app. If you wanted to make a pair of gloves, for instance, you could click on a template for them, and then make the art, and use it on your character. (This would probably be a paid feature, which makes sense.) If this feature we’re in the app, I’d pay for standard edition. Other than that, this is a great app.
Little_T74,
A little frustrating at first
I downloaded it thinking it was such a great idea! But nowhere in the page it obviously states that you need to play $10 for the full app. And then once i got Some money loaded onto iTunes, I can’t buy the full version on iTunes, instead i need to purchase an account key. My biggest critique is that i cannot simply but the full version with iTunes. Just list it as an in app purchase and make it easier to unlock.

Edit: i really appreciate how nice the developer was to offer this. I greatly respect them for this and understand that it takes a lot of work to make an in-app purchase available. After finally having access to the full version- i love it! The character sheet is extremely in-depth and i am even a bit overwhelmed by the content of this app. I think that it is greatly worth the ten dollars and recommend it to anyone looking at it. In fact, the customizability is so grand that you can just make homebrew items in the app if you know what you are doing. I for sure will be making most of my characters here from now on.
The Elf Prince of Bel Aire,
The Best Reason Not to Use Trees
This is a phenomenal tool for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, or any home brew game at this point! I was a little annoyed to find out that it was $10 dollars to fully upgrade it, but after I bought it, I had, and still have, no regrets. I was amazed to find that I could even customize the hues and tints of items (and bodies) to be any color of the rainbow, black, or white! I put in an old character I had, and copy and pasted the abilities of a rogue and wood elf from the internet for him, and was off. This is the single best app I have used that even relates to Dungeons and Dragons. My hope is that they (the developers) are not finished with this app yet, as I want them to add the armor and shield of a Roman Legionary, or a Hellenic Hoplite. At least a Corinthian helmet? But if they were done with this now, I would completely understand and return to this app every day to create images and character sheets characters. This is truly a fantastic thing, and I would encourage anyone with a spare $10 to purchase it immediately.
Gr8b8m8m8ir88outof8,
Excellent app, responsive developers.
I absolutely love this app. I joined my first campaign nearly six months ago and have been using this as my character sheet and inventory throughout the entirety of it. I love the level of depth and customization put into every aspect, and it especially makes playing a spellcaster extremely convenient with its fleshed out spell list and easy to manipulate spell slots. NOT to mention, the aspect of adding pixel art to it in the way it’s done is fantastic and helps add a lot of immersion and fun, I often find myself just messing around with all of the visual options. The guided character creation is also very well done, making the process easy to understand and engaging for a new player. The developers are very responsive; sending an e-mail to them will generally give you a direct reply within a day, two at the most. There’s clearly a lot of passion and effort put into this app. I’m excited to see where they take it and I can’t recommend it enough.
TheWildLeon,
Good design and features
First off, the pixel art for bringing your character to life is such an amazing touch that it deserves its own review alone. That being said, some of the choices don't completely mesh well with character models. However it is a small issue compared to how amazing the feature is.

Next, for character sheets, you have two options, a custom sheet, and the SRD guided sheet. I would love if both options gave features from the other. For example the sorcerer gets sorcery points for its resource and the guided SRD shows this. However the custom sheet does not allow you to rename the resource section. The equipment section could also use the ability to select from SRD content as well.

Even with that small drawback the sheet is very fleshed out and properly lists information in corresponding sections. Ive recommended this app to a few people already, and if you are reading this, you should too!
