Surprisingly Fun
This is a DOOM-Like game for people like me with older phones like my 5S. Video happen when you fie and sometimes when you complete a level, like many free mobile shooters. Firstly, this is really impressive for something probably only programmed by one person. The mechanics function, although I would like to customize button size and position. The MIDI-like rock soundtrack is incredible and varied and just what a 90s PC shooter fan would expect to hear. The dungeon game feels very samey all the way until level 7 when they start introducing new enemies, weapons, and rooms to the dungeon. The levels are procedurally generated, meaning there is potential for endless variety, but it can also yield unexpected or boring results at times. Also, there is the slight annoyance that if you watch an ad to "try again" when you die, you just get 100% health on the same screen where enemies killed you, and they are still gunning for you in an instant. It would have made more sense to restart in the last room, at the beginning of the level, or with a period of invincibility. All in all, as a gamer growing up in the pioneering days of 3D shooters in the 90s, I feel at home here, and if played in short bursts, the way mobile games are intended, it's a lot of fun.

Good gameplay, but I couldn’t get past level 30 due to the glitches
Now, this is a great game, but I wouldn’t exactly call it a replacement for doom. I would like to say first that there are a lot of glitches. First, the different parts of the level will sometimes collide with each other, meaning you can’t continue on playing. You will need to restart the entire level. Second, if you die in the lava acid stuff and get a second chance, you will respawn in the lava, unable to escape. And third, the other parts of the level will sometimes not load, so you are trapped in a certain room until you restart the level again. This happened a lot on level 30, so I could not continue on.
Also, I said that it is not a replacement for doom because while it does resemble it a little, a lot of the levels have the same segments and rooms in them, so they can get a little repetitive and boring. It would be better if each level had different designs and different parts/rooms, but that is just my opinion.
Despite that, it is a good and addictive game, and I like how it is free, so I do recommend it to anyone who likes FPS games and has an iPhone.

Good for what it’s worth 👍
Now, I love Doom, but I don’t love paying for it a bunch of times on different platforms. Thanks to this, I can play Doom on the go, at the cost of it not being Doom. I will say the character design and music is pretty unique, but fits the tone. However, there is two minor flaws that deters from the rest of this good clone: The graphics. Yes, Doom had 2D entities, and so does this game, but Doom ran on ID, while this uses the fancy Unreal engine. In Doom, no matter which angle you’re facing, all entities appear 2D and are always facing you. This game does not oblige. Sometimes, the enemies like the flesh worm thing and the little dark gremlins will be sideways and become practically invisible. This is ignorable though. The other little flaw is how you can’t look around and shoot. This would be helpful when you’re trying to lock onto your target with, say, the pistol. The hit market is so small that it makes it a challenge to make your mark.
Besides those two things, this game is worth waiting 15 seconds to download. Four stars. 👍

This game is a great I think they did a great job at making a doom knock off. But there are A few problems, so I see a lot of people complain about things like glitch but my main problems are these 3 things. For starters the levels were to linear with things like Corridors and corridors aren’t a problem unless there done every time. Second I wish they introduced new enemies and weapons sooner it just feels like the same enemy’s and same old pistol over and over. Those aren’t the only weapons but all I’m saying is they don’t show you them sooner. My last complainant is that they reuse the same areas over and over seriously I don’t know how many times I have seen the same spiral staircase or the same sewage system it to repetitive. Other than that is great and I recommend it I know I bashed on it pretty hard but it really is great.

This is pretty cool
This game is pretty cool. Pretty good. It supports controller use is which is awesome. The monsters from what I seen are pretty diverse. I’ve only played the dungeon mode which is fun. The only problem I have is that acid pools instantly kill you leaving making a missteps pretty frustrating with the floating platforms that can boost you when walking with them but you’ll be faster than the platform by half a second and touch the acid and just die. There’s been a few times when I took damage after turning around a corner from the small rocket launcher dudes and lost 75% of my health. Picking up weapons is completely randomized. And I think there’s only like 6 weapons. I think this could benefit from a rework to the dungeon mode. Where you make set levels and every 10 stages we get a boss. I dunno. It’s pretty cool.

Good, but needs work.
There used to be DOOM for mobile, but they removed it. Once I found this game, 8+ months after playing DOOM mobile for the last time, I found this. I must say that it is certainly promising, but I have some issues. First, I understand that all of DOOMs original weapons are in the game, but not many are in the Dungeon mode. I’m almost at level 10, and all I have is the pistol, chainsaw, and rocket launcher. Also, maybe in the future there can be more variety in the generated maps, because they do get repetitive over time. There is too much ammo, the enemies don’t use ranged attacks, and survival mode is unplayable. Overall, it’s a good attempt at remaking DOOM on mobile, but updates are needed.

This game is actually pretty fun. It’s a Doom clone but not a bad one, especially for a mobile game.
It’s not perfect. The movement could use some work. That old school movement where you always feel like your gliding around doesn’t really work on mobile, and another touch ‘joystick’ would be better for turning than just dragging your finger across the screen. Also the super shotgun takes up most of the screen, which can be aggravating. The move and shoot buttons could be a bit smaller and the shoot button could be lower on the screen, the issue is sometimes when I shoot it thinks I’m switching weapons which can be frustrating.
The game does also have ads, but they don’t interrupt you in the middle of levels or anything so it’s not that bad.
However outside of that, it’s a lot of fun. Definitely worth a download.

This is just frustrating...
This game is pretty decent at best, but what I don’t like however is that you have to kill monsters in order to receive better guns. Another thing I find troubling about this game is that there is no section of the game where you can slide your finger to rotate the camera angle, instead the developer just says, “oh let’s not put THAT there, it’s not like people will get UPSET OR ANYTHING!!!” I’m just so frustrated that the camera angle is so wonky, but I still think this game is pretty good. I just think it could use a little more work and add more updates to it. Please fix this and keep up the good work.

A good game that’s not trying to sell you something
Not much to say other than this is a very well made game, and that unlike most others it doesn’t make any attempts to take your money. There’s the occasional video between levels, but they’re short and not super common.
Controls are good, you accidentally shoot occasionally but all mobile FPS’s are bound to have some control issues. The game also runs well, and has good sound design.

This like a free doom clone
I like this game because its actually a good free game unlike some other games that have some of the most bs and unfair stuff I have ever seen in my life. Now to me this feels little like doom in away but that doesn’t me that its bad at all! :) although I really do wish for more variety of other thangs like.(1) more guns (2) different level design (3) the ability to open doors and last but not least (4) get rid of the dumb thang where at a stare case is blocked by a wall/ceiling. And why is that there? And thats it
