Would give 5 stars but the app doesn’t tell you what you have already listened to, notifications of new shows remain even after you have listened. Playback drops more often than I’d like and it doesn’t always remember where you left off. So with a revamp of the app and better ease of use I would definitely give 5stars but for now I can’t due to a clunky app. Oh and go listen to all of Sam Tripoli’s content he is a gem.

App definitely needs some work it’s super clunky but for 9.99 a month you get 100’s of Creators Premium Content with the option to tip on past shows just to let them know like hey man I really dig your work keep it comin. You will never get bored, you could do a few daily shows #1 Ryan Christian from TLAV for your breaking news and all things Covid-19 and Russia Ukrainian up to the minute , Hilarious super Smart Jimmy Door, Whitney Web’s Unlimited Hangout (GOAT) maybe toss in some belly laughing with Sam Tripoli and all of his bazillion podcasts all full shows premium and when you need to get on that higher level and really learn & utilize The Lost Tools Of Learning the Trivium & Quadrivium and weed through the weeks news marinated in Grammar Logic Rhetoric and a healthy jolt of independence Economics and a foray of forensic history by Rich & Tony then if you can hang stop by Grand Theft World for a 5-6 hour recap & deep dive into history and what happened the last week in news after the dust has settled. So yeah your pretty much a genius after all that for under ten bucks. Duh like do it dude.

This platform has some of THE best independent journalism content creators out there. I am a paid subscriber for this content. Whitney Webb, Ryan Cristián, The Conscious Resistance, Niko House, Jimmy Dore, Slow News Day, Convo Couch, Graham Elwood, Kim Iversen, Lee Camp, Jason Bermas, etc. incredible stuff.

But the app’s media playback controls leave a lot to be desired & often make for a frustrating experience. Playback position is not remembered if you leave an episode & then come back to it later. Scrubbing is tedious, which you have to do often since playback position isn’t remembered. There is no ability to skip forward/back in increasing increments. No playback speed controls. And Download did not work at all the one time I tried it.

With attention to those issues this would be a five star app/platform!

I can’t tell you how many issues exist with this app because I don’t have the time needed to list them all. Folks, this is simple stuff such as crashing for no apparent reason during live shows, access to info, chat function problems l, etc. etc. etc.
I’m seriously debating continuing to be a subscriber due to my frustration. I’m willing to let a certain number of things slide as an Alt Media source gets on its feet but $10-15/month is a steep price to pay nowadays for something that can be so annoying.
If it wasn’t for quality shows and the exclusive content… it’s debatable that it is worth it.
My hope is that it continues to improve-hint hint-

I can’t tell you how helpful it has been to have access to so many perspectives and views as well as “best info possible” in breaking situations by many many different hard working , truth seeking (mostly:), creative leaders of the battle against this propaganda age we’re all swirling in. I think the origin story of ROKFIN as a HS and College wrestling info source is an amazing root story and reminds me to be ready and in shape mentally, physically, informationally and in preparedness. Thank you to the RF founder for giving a safe ledge for truth to balance on as we regroup against the”ugliest” in this realm.

I’ve downloaded the app multiple times and each time I delete it because it doesn’t format to the iPad display (it runs as a phone app on your iPad).

For someone who likes to watch content on an iPad, this is a non-starter for anything the app has to offer, which seems like a lot.

I get that phones are more pervasive, but to not have the development foresight and prioritization to branch out to a key facet of the market after a year... Well, it makes me doubt the longevity of the platform because it means A) they’re not realizing low hanging market expansion or B) Their app development was not planned out well enough to scale up and grow.

Been a paid subscriber sense December 20' and the upgrade of the platform and content has been quite amazing. The newest update i'm very happy with because it brought some of the updates I wish they had, and now they do. being able to speed up videos is a great thing because there's so much content on here it was hard to get through it all. i'm excited to see where this platform goes in the future. Thanks for everyone that works on it!

If you go directly on the "downloads" tab - it doesn't stream to Airplay on televisions. You have to go to the content creator, and THEN it'll work. It wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that you could be downloading something off the home tab whilst trying to view the downloaded item in the "downloads"tab

I really enjoy this app because its about 99.9% free speech. So all my favorite Truther podcasts, i can listen to and not worry about them being censored! Wish I could leave 5 stars, love what they are doing for free speech.

There offline mode could be amazing but it’s as if they never even tested it. It’s so bad that the app literally shuts down when it detects your phone tilts. Another huge bug of many is that even when you play the downloaded video it automatically switches to WiFi/cell data and streams the video. I was very confused till I found out why I was hitting my data limit.
