«ROOMS: The Toymaker's Mansion» is a unique puzzle game inspired by sliding puzzle and platformer games. In a twisted mansion made of rooms that slide like puzzle pieces, the player should find a way to the exit by moving rooms and using what's inside them. As the player explores the mansion, various gadgets are introduced and make the puzzles more tricky and challenging.
Set in a fairy tale-like world full of magical objects and spooky stories, the player takes a role of an innocent little girl, Anne, who was accidentally trapped in the mansion. As the story unfolds itself, the player goes through the dark legend of the twisted mansion.
The game has 144 levels which are divided into 4 themes (mansions). Each mansion has basement levels where Anne can use her special abilities like using a cellphone to teleport, placing a bomb, and moving all rooms at once.

Extreme puzzling
These puzzles are very hard. The hint system is completely inscrutable. You’re cajoled into “starting over” if you don’t solve it in the minimum possible moves, and rated on your performance if you solve it but take “too long”. Because of these degrading computerized assessments I’ve knocked it down from five stars. If you are able to ignore the assessment criticisms from the computer it’s still a beautiful, fun game. (Though why our heroine always wears a pathetically worried look remains the final puzzle to me.)
To developer: I like the puzzle difficulty. I don’t like the character judging me. Replace it with a move counter that’s always on screen and that’d be fine.

This is a bargain for the amount of play you get out of it. It took me about 3 weeks to collect the 3 puzzles pieces for each of the 108 levels. It’s possible to complete the game without going online for level walkthroughs, but I did have to use a notebook and pencil to help figure out the correct moves for completing many of the levels in the shortest number of moves to collect all of the puzzle pieces. Having a back button to allow you to undo moves would take a lot of the tedium out of collecting all of the puzzle pieces because you wouldn’t have to restart every time you made a single wrong move.

Gorgeous graphics. Very difficult. If, like me, you can not visualize the moves in your head you are going to have to really work at this game. I think it’s worth the effort.
I had one problem: when I cleared the last level the first story page came up in Korean! The rest were in English - very strange.
I would also like to put in a word for those of us who don’t play connected to the internet. I can’t see the trophy page, and don’t get credit for the ones I have earned even when I am connected. Not everyone wants to live online.

Ok, I just finished the final level, and WOW! ANNE herself turns into a puppet!?
When I found out, then the credits then changed to a puppet walking through the hallways of the mansion. It was scary yet funny!
You guys did a great job, and I thought of another name for a game that could continue the series! Rooms...... The Tallest Tower! Instead of being Anne, you could be a little boy named Max, who, just like Anne, is full of curiosity. The puppet would be Anne, while you try and find his kitty all the way to the top of the mansion. You could edit it so that the mansion is HUGE and TALL. When Max finds his kitty, she is kind of... a puppet-kitty. Then Anne comes out of nowhere and chases Max... to the puzzle room.
His lantern, the toymaker, was expecting this, so then, Max was forced to touch the puzzle piece. Max shrieked as HE became a puppet, and Anne and his kitty were free.
How bout that?

Fun! Fun! Fun!
I love this game. Not only do you have rooms in three challenging mansions but you also get a basement for each mansion and a daily puzzle to solve. I’ve had hours and hours of fun and challenges. I especially like the hints, which come in handy when I’m really stuck.
One thing I would like to ask is why if I purchased the attics on one of my devices (iPad) do I have to purchase them again on another(iPhone)?

I’m LOVING this game!!!!
This simply has to be made by the same developer as Rooms:The Main Building....which I purchased and can’t find here anymore. Luckily I have it on a DS cartridge form as well, so that can’t be taken away. I wish I knew what happened to that game because I loved it too! Please bring it back!!!!! I also just found out there is another one for the Nintendo Switch! I’ll be buying that as well!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful puzzle game!!!!!

Couldn't ask for more from a puzzle game.
Hard but fair, well-presented, an interesting style of puzzle, and generally addictive as hell. Stayed the course to finish the main set of 96 puzzles; looked at some of the bonus basement puzzles but the variants they throw in were a bit too much for me. Still, quite a triumph by the designers.

I became acquainted with Rooms: The Main Building about 10 years ago. I am ecstatic they have made a sequel!
The game has a basic premise like the sliding block puzzle “15” where you slide blocks around to get the numbers 1-15 in the correct order.
Of course, this puzzle is so much more with all the mechanics of ladders, keys, puppets, etc.
I have only finished the first of the 4 mansions, but I am having so much fun.
If you like sliding block puzzles with advanced mechanics, this one’s for you.
Congratulations to the developer for keeping this alive for younger gamers to enjoy!

Data and progress always lost
You can never restart where you left off. There’s no syncing across devices. Money to spend on everything but every time you open the app then you have to start all over from the beginning. Whatever I bought is long gone with no way to get it back. The game itself is beautifully designed but I can’t take the constant starting over. Would give no stars for this reason alone.
