Mace,
Using for more than 10 years
This program has grown and expanded over the years and has always been excellent to use. Fantastic support from the company on questions as well. I love that everything is on my phone and Mac (phone app syncs with health to pull in my rides) not in the cloud somewhere. Ease of mind for privacy. It has really good analytical tools for summarizing workouts and equipment status. I use it mostly for tracking bike rides.
Just Another Bob 9,
Over the years, RubiTrack has steadily improved
Been using RubiTrack since version 3 (I think) sometime in 2012, and the app is just great. Improvements over the years convinved me to subscribe, even though I'm not a fan of subscription apps.
Wudkayaker,
Consistently the Best
Whether you track your workouts or use GPS for travel and adventure, rubiTrack has consistently been the best GPS program for MAC out there.
revkevlev,
Rubitrack
Overall a very good tracker. I started with version 3 .Not happy that it changed to a subscription model. The cost of yearly maintenance hasn't really changed the product much. It seems like a cash grab.
Slattest,
Shows potential, missing features
"Analyze all your activities interactively on freely configurable maps and charts. rubiTrack displays all available activity data accurately and stunningly beautiful."

I recognize that this app has specialized features for runners and cyclists, so some of the cost of this app is for things I won't need... But with the above text from their website, I thought I was going to be able to see my hikes and nature walks on maps and charts. It's capped at viewing 25 activities on a map, and customizing can only get rid of *most* of the overlays.

I see that if you add their subscription, you can get fuzzy outlines on the map for all activities, which is closer to what I'm looking for but the implementation is still much clunkier than just mapping the routes. Plus 95% of the routes end up the same color since a "heatmap" isnt necesarry for routes only done once or twice.

The activities can be categorized by location, but some location names are flat out wrong (often, they are nearby town names, but not the name of the correct town). And i wouldn't mind correcting the names if there was a way to do it, but there isn't. A workaround would be making additional categories with correct names, but you can only do that on the subscription plan.

Again, I see that there are plenty of features beyond what I'm talking about here, but for my needs, i'm not sure why I paid $20 for this app. It feels like it is quite hobbled without the subscription, and even with the subscription I'd be using those features as stop gap workarounds just to see my hikes on a map.
