Leon's math learning program is based on a proven method for teaching basic math skills that has been adapted for the learner to use natural language and "runner" video gameplay.

Run 8 covers kids age 8 and up learning, split into 9 learning steps:
- Master challenges and earn certificates to reach the highest math level (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert).
- Ask Leon directly for exercises you want to practice.
- Run Leon's math circuit through space to earn points.
- Play augmented reality mini-games with Leon to earn more points.

Three available audio modes:
- VOCAL: Leon speaks and you answer out loud.
- KEYBOARD: Leon speaks, and you answer using the keyboard.
- SILENT: Leon talks to you in speech bubbles, and you answer using the keyboard.

With Run 8 use iMessage app to practice with friends.

For teachers and parents:
- Access all content by theme or step and find the exercise you want your child or student to practice.
- Your child or student can then play the content in the app or play it directly via iMessage.

Technology:

- Requires iOS 12 or up
- Requires a compatible iPhone (5s, SE and up) or iPad (iPad Air and up), or iPod (6 and up).
- Augmented reality games require an iPhone SE, iPhone 6S or newer, iPad Pro, iPad 2017 or newer, iPod 7 or newer.
- On device voice recognition requires the latest version of iOS and a compatible device.
