Unique! Worth a shot...
So this game might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely unique, and in a sea of clones, I appreciate that.
The mechanics may seem screwy to some. But if you try a practice round or two, learn from them, and try again, you'll realize that not everything is unintentional. There are some clever tricks at play here.
Bottom line: It's just a game, after all, and life is too short to be led around by naysayers. Give it a whirl!

Interesting game that stands out
I never write reviews for anything but I liked this game so much I felt it deserved a review.
I personally get tired of all the endless runner games and the tap a million times games out there but this game is unique and has some fun elements to it.
Yes the game is hard but it's not impossible. A lot of reviews complain about the "cheap" poison that weakens you so much or rooms with all ranged enemies but you learn how to prepare for these rooms or pray to the gods and take their punishment to skip the room.
The storyline was really interesting to me. It references the fact that you're caught in a cycle of dying constantly and are trying to break that cycle. It's not as unpredictable as people think and you learn what causes certain events to go different ways based on your choices and stats.
Gameplay is nice as you don't have to break your phone tapping as fast as possible and since it's turn based you can watch a show or work on something else at the same time. It definitely takes a few times of dying to realize what you're supposed to do.
I do wish there were more characters to unlock without paying since I beat the game using the free characters. Other than that I just wish they had a sequel or another game out there like this one. I highly recommend this game.

Great game
I’ve had this game since 2016, it’s a great game for when you don’t want to have to focus to much on what you’re doing! It was pulled off the App Store for a while there and they brought it back. I gave it three stars for the fact that if you had the game previously and used the in-game purchases they will now be taken away and there’s no way to restore purchases unfortunately. So if you had bought a character before you won’t have them now.

I’m so glad this was updated and brought back. I missed it when I got a newer iPad, and the game was gone from the App Store.
It’s challenging; but there are 3 difficulty levels to learn strategy on.
It never gets boring, since there are different characters to play as, and gods to worship, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
And different pop-up ‘events’, where you choose an option and hope it was a good one!
My only minor complaint is the very slight color difference between locked/unlocked dungeon squares. It’s sometimes hard to tell what squares you need to tap when you first enter a new level.

1. Music is not playing only if I put on my headphone. Pretty sure I hv turned everything on;
2. Remote monsters are not attacking, which helps me clear the game :P

To much unpredictability
It feels like most of the time that I die is because this happens, I go into the floor only to find out there were all ranged enemies and I have no ranged weapon, getting me killed. Also the rooms with the poison traps need to be reworked, to many and can end up eating about 20 hp. A way to fix the traps would be to make it so that if you walk to a space adjacent to it shows up but does not give you the effect. Also ranged does not mean I'm going to stand right in front of this monster and shoot, make it so that the monster needs to walk to you or something.

What the He** is This?
I can't figure out what it even intends. I mean, obviously the company has zero plans for making any profits. If they did they would allow players to stay alive long enough to gather, say, 125 in gold. Or give them the illusion of the possibility of being competitive at least. But no, they just go on and on killing me every game because there are no weapons. You just tap monsters that are a gazillion times more powerful than you, then you die. Again. And then again. This is stupid beyond belief.

Not just a Dungelot Clone
This game took my by surprise, and once I got used to the mechanics, I'd say this game is great. If you are a rogue-like player and like Dungelot or Minesweeper, you can't go wrong! Great visual style, music and depth.
All I ask for is a portrait orientation option on iPhone. Please :)
