DOWNLOAD SAFERWATCH IT'S THE NEXT STEP IN SAFETY TECHNOLOGY
As a high school student, I love the fact that there's an app for my phone that can notify me of safety threats or situations in my location (whether it be school, home, or work). Since school shootings sadly seem to becoming more widespread, I'm grateful that there's a simple and easy way to communicate and stay safe during a time of crisis. To me the most innovative aspect of SaferWatch is it's "tipster" feature, where anyone can submit a tip about a crime or threat to public safety. This is so much better than the alternative of calling 911 and be treated like you situation is no big deal. Also, my parents love this because they too can be notified or submit tips on safety problems regarding their children or community as a whole.

I am a female that lives alone and had a dispute with a neighbor resulting in vandalism. I wanted it to be documented but didn’t know if it was important enough to call the police so I “submitted a Tip”
through the SaferWatch app and am very impressed with the result. I received a call from an officer in about 10 minutes and they were at my door within 20 mins.
Big thank you to the Fort Lauderdale police department for making me feel safe and this app for providing the ability to reach out comfortably.

There’s No Such Thing As Too Prepared
I am thrilled there is finally an app that can prepare the general public for emergency situations in an immediate fashion. If you have called 9-1-1 before, you know they ask a slew of questions and sometimes are placed on a WAIT before they can assist in your emergency situation. SaferWatch makes it incredibly easy to access law enforcement and emergency officials when time is of the essence. I feel an added layer of security is always with me, and that puts me at ease.

But not just students are able to use it. Parents can use it too.
Parents, please, talk with your kids about it!
If you see something suspicious anywhere you can immediately report it. You can take a picture or a screenshot if you want, and this is very good! Because it helps the police identify and investigate the problem faster.
Also, you can report as anonymous if you want.
You can report shootings, sexual harassment, misconduct of a teacher, or student, a kidnapping, threat, or any suspicions you might have.
This app only helps,
And always remember, IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.

SaferWatch, Keeping My Children/Community SAFE
This app is going to keep communities safe. As a mother, knowing my child will have the ability to communicate when she doesn’t feel safe, and I can receive alerts “relevant to her school” is amazing. I love the fact that real-time tips will now be delivered to law enforcement. This app will reduce response times, increase safety and allow two-way communication.

Everyone should have this app
Have had this app about a year and every time I have used it BSO has been very responsive. It would be nice to get a notification once the issue has been addressed or resolved. They do advise they received the tip and it’s under review. The local notifications could be beefed up as well. Overall I really like having this app.

As a parent, I can’t tell you how grateful I am for SaferWatch. Living in constant fear of what could happen while my child is at school, this app has given me a sense of security that I didn’t have before. Just knowing that, if necessary, my son has the ability to immediately alert myself and the police allows me some relief. Thank you!

Everyone should have this app
As a parent with 4 kids at 3 different schools I take great comfort in knowing that all of my children, my husband and myself have this app on our phones and that we can report crimes or summon help easily and anywhere. Thank you SaferWatch for making our safety a priority.

Was able to report a hit and run and they found him!
A pick up truck ran into the side of my car! I snapped a picture of the car’s plates and submitted it on SaferWatch. 2 days later the police were able to find the guy! Thank you for this app!!

Awesome idea
This is exactly what is needed in every community to help safeguard our students and citizens during a crisis. First responders don’t have a crystal ball...they need real time eyes and ears in the situation to better serve and protect. Finally a platform that uses our phones for collective good instead of just social media posts!!! Thanks to the developers. Great job!
