Obnoxious app with difficult to use functionality
Audio guide is only available after inserting ticket info. This pop up to do this is only on the first launch.

Works well using home WIFI in the US
I had no glitches with purchasing or downloading the audio guide using my home WIFI. The app does warn that if you use a credit card, you will need to have the ability to do a 2 step verification with your bank. This meant that I got a pop up window asking me to go to my bank app and verify the purchase. Once I did this, I returned to the app, clicked verification completed, and the purchase went through. All without a glitch and in less than 3 min. I hope this is helpful!

Astoundingly Bad
For such a massive tourist site the app is astoundingly bad, but it is needed when sharing tickets and downloading the audio tour. And yet shared tickets don’t show up on the app when sent to traveling companions nor do searches for those tickets bear results though using the very numbers on the tickets. (Side note, the unique reservation number on each ticket is nine digits long but only eight digits are allowed. It’s easy enough to drop off the first digit, but yet another sign of a poorly designed system.)

Internet doesn’t even work well enough
So they make you download their app on crappy internet. When we tried putting in our ticket info the internet was so poor it wouldn’t go through. We asked the people that worked here and they said sorry internet isn’t very good try again later. Poor service cool building. If you are going to force people on a app then make sure it works and you have the infrastructure to support it. Garbage.

This app should not exist
Only downloaded this app because you have to use it to buy your tickets to La Sagrada Familia. Every other place in the world sells tickets online, but not this place. I did not use the app once I got inside. The worst part was that I had to download it on the street outside the church without WIFI, because the free public WIFI was not working. Please just sell your tickets online like everyone else.

Poorly maintained app
I have tried to book tickets on 5 or 6 occasions in the last two weeks (Nov. ‘21) and it never works.
The transactions never complete whether I used a Visa or Master Card.
We contacted Sagrada Familia and no help at all. We contacted our bank and credit card companies with no success. Using this app has been a huge waste of time. I’ll buy my tickets when I get to Barcelona.

Can’t order tickets
Tried ordering tickets from both the website and the app - neither worked without explanation. Called and was told to purchase the tickets in-person at the basilica, which I did. But then the app wouldn’t provide the audio tour because I didn’t buy them through the app - which wouldn’t allow me to purchase them!!

No way to buy tickets
It seems that neither the app nor the website will process a credit card unless it has a PIN, which is unusual in the United States. There are also no options for PayPal or Apple Pay, so despite trying to get our tickets two weeks ahead of time, we ended up unable to visit. What a piece of garbage

We had issues downloading the app & audio guide ahead of time. Downloaded very quickly once on Sagrada free wifi.
