More emeralds
You would be better off charging for the game and making it easier to get emeralds because most of us will never buy in app purchases on the principle, the only game I've ever done in app purchase was a one time upgrade fee that was needed to compete "air wings" but most are not stupid enough to buy emeralds, please give us more credit than that because it's insulting to our intelligence and for those that do spend than its a shame on your company for taking advantage of ignorance, having said that, this game is really fun without spending money too, I love it and beat both editions without spending a dime, I am more interested in fully upgrading my characters at this point and I don't think that's possible without spending real money, a flat fee is a more ethical way to run a gaming platform, but that's just my humble opinion, kudos on the gameplay though, really great great overall 9 out of 10

Terrible, Just Like the Sequel
It would seem that the first game is even worse than the sequel. The enemies are insanely overpowered, your units are extremely underpowered, and the enemy gets the advantage in every situation. For example, I'm currently stuck on an impossible level in the Zombie Rising campaign. Why? Because the enemy uses the formation of a Super Shield Soldier, a group of soldiers, a Priest/Monk, and then behind that it just spams riflemen. This formation is impossible to beat because the troops at the front line never die, and it's impossible to just go around to kill the priest yourself, because not only does he just heal himself (which should have never been allowed), but the spammed line of riflemen behind him mow you down in a second or less. And coins come in far too slowly to justify the difficulty ramp. Not to mention that all upgrades past a certain point cost gems. So you're pretty much screwed. Overall, this game and it's sequel are fun until you realize how completely insane the difficulty ramp is, and how weak your character is, even though he's supposed to be the strongest character on the battlefield. This games are honestly a disgrace. They had the perfect setup, but the developers just ruined it. So in other words, this game and the sequel need to be fixed. MAJORLY.

Fun! If you like losing and spending tons of money...
This was fun when I got it and in the same day I started hating it... First of all the upgrades cost a ridiculous amount of money compared to how much money you earn a level. Your troops are also EXTREMELY underpowered and the enemies are EXTREMELY overpowered! One of the wheel zombie enemies can take forever to kill and can take down ALL your troops no matter how many you have or what level they are in a few hits. That's just one of the EXTREMELY overpowered enemies... The zombie campaign is even worse! Your units are even more underpowered and can be killed by a FARMER in 1-2 hits! Also the rate at which you accumulate points to summon troops is so slow that I a will be surprised to see anyone summon more than 5 units at once after level 20 or so. Some upgrades require gems right off the bag and ALL upgrades require gems after a while. Completely pay2win unless you put a TREMENDOUS amount of time into this game without buying anything with your own money. I'm extremely disappointed as this game could have been good. Don't waste your time with this unless you are willing to pay ridiculous prices for gems or spend an ENORMOUS amount of time on this game. 👎👎👎

Resetting and unfairness!!!!😢😡
I was at wave 50, I died really early from the Shogun, I played the ball game in the arcade thing to get more things, and that's when it happened, my game RESET ON ME!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡........At first I thought it was a little bug, but I tried it again, and I thought is was just a coincidence, and.....you guessed it, I tried it again, and I knew at that point that the ball game was glitched! I think it was because I went too fast, I am still investigating and I have 1039 balls, and I used 39 slowly and it didn't happen, so......so far I think it depends on your speed of using them, so be careful.

Another thing, when you play as the zombies, it is really unfair how they can use more than 1 Nobonugas and when you play as the allies, you can only have ONE!!!! And the allies are stronger and overpowered when you player as the zombies! The game is wired. This game is unfair, but addictive!

Difficult and fun
This is a side scrolling tug of war game with a hero and summoned troops where you have to protect your base for about 5 mins each round. It is very high quality. It looks nice, it plays well, the balance seems good to keep it difficult but doable. It's really nice that the hero auto attacks so there's not spam clicking required. The upgrades are plentiful and significant.
What others have said about the requirement of paying to get past a certain point is not entirely true. You can earn gems through regular play but the difficulty becomes so great around wave 40 that it becomes nearly impossible to win without paying for more upgrades. I'm sure the devs intended this and it's a bit disappointing but the game is still great for what it is. If you enjoy it enough to play that long then you probably owe it to the devs to pay for the game at that point.

A fun hack and slash for lovers of samurai warriors and zombies
This game has not redefined the hack n slash genre but it's still quite a bit of fun to play. You will be able to upgrade your weapons as well as powers as you lead an army to defend against the evil legions of samurai zombies. The controls are very easy you really only need to worry about moving left and right summoning allies and using special powers as they become available. You will auto attack enemies from range distance with your bow and arrow and then at melee distance with your hand weapon. This game is also backed up by a display of beautiful Japanese setting and well-done graphics. Certainly worth The play. This is the only game that I continue to play since I first started playing apps on my iPhone. This game continues to get better the further along you get in the gameplay.

Tactics people!
I don't get why people say that zombies rising mode is so difficult just use this tactic and you will be fine get your character's sword,health, and bow to at least level 5 upgrade your gate to level 3 so you might have to grind the game use your zombie Allie I found it to be the most useful and damaging get your zombie minion to level 6 and spam him also spam the healer I found that when the riflemen show up they do a ton of damage kill the riflemen first then in front of them is the healer kill him second once you've done that your pretty much set until frosty shows up frost replaces the riflemen in the chaos world so kill him first also when you unlock the spider lady she dominates the battlefield so use her in the battle to because she does very well to takeda Shingen and nobunaga and those sheild guys she strikes very fast and basically stuns the enemy making her op so use her that's basically it!

I beat all 70 levels by simply only investing in the bow at the beginning. I didn't upgrade any units until I got that green horseman guy. I upgraded him like crazy and that's the only unit I use. Only invest in the lethargy and divine intervention skills. As long as the horseman is the only ally on your list, every time you do the divine intervention skill, it will spawn 2 horseman. And when they are very high leveled they have enough damage to take out anything. But also really focus on upgrading the bow. And a strategy I figured out is, when they have healers and attack boosters behind their wall of monsters, use lethargy to slow them all down and divine intervention spawn 2 horseman in front of the archers or booster in the back. And the peace charms are the best so if you get them save them till the end when you'll really need them

Update the game or remake it again
Look I remember when this game came out and I was on it like white on rice, and I remember you being really difficult but I really really miss this game I wanna play it so bad, this game and the first one we’re so enjoyable to me I just miss playin it and now I got a iPhone 11 or 12 I can’t remember right Now all I know is you need to make a new game of this where like graphics are bumped up a bit and I ain’t gonna lie a player vs player of this seems to me like it would be fun, I enjoy the mechanics of the game like moving around or the special moves or summoning of troops that was all great anyway I think a remake or new one should come soon cause it’s 2021 I would love to see this game playable or remade or a new one PLEASE I miss this so much

What to do with all the coins??
Once you get to a certain point in the game, collecting coins becomes useless. It's all about collecting green diamonds. However, enemies don't drop very many, and pachinko never gives you any. There should be a way to cash in your surplus of coins for green diamonds. I don't want to spend possibly hundreds of actual dollars out of my pocket on acquiring diamonds for this game. It brings me to a point someone else made that the enemies are far too powerful as you advance in levels. And not being able to strengthen your army makes it impossible to moves past a certain level in the game. Perhaps that's done on purpose. Perhaps you developers don't care, but there should at least be a way to exchange coins for diamonds.
