Great game
I've never really been a fan of tower defense games, until I found this game. This has the deepest and most challenging gameplay of any tower defense game I have ever played. Beating the harder difficulties requires you to think outside the box.
Some people criticize this game for being "too hard", but it's difficulty is just a testament to how good the game is. You just have to be tenacious to figure out how to win and you eventually will; on my first attempt, I lost while playing the first map on easy, but I have kept trying and have now beaten all of the maps on easy and two of them on medium.

I like the game, it has a lot of potential but WAY to stinking hard!!! I'm talking about your "normal" (easy) level! Come on, get real!!! I mean you have like friggin' 4 levels of difficulty so why is your lowest so stinking hard? That makes it an immediate delete candidate in my book!! Please, help me to understand you developers that do this to potentially good games! Why?? I don't get it, normally, the lowest setting should allow you to finish a game so you can get the gist of it all but when you make it so difficult to barely even get thru the first level then that makes for a waste of time and extreme frustration! Please, please lower the rotten difficulty setting at least for your so called normal level! I'm not going to hand out my hard earned cash to get thru your so called easy level and I'm sure there are a lot of others that won't either! If this is your strategy to bleed fans of there cash then that's sad & you'll just lose this one on the way! I have your star rating at a hard to give 3 but it will continue to be lowered if you insist on not changing it! I will keep this unimpressive game loaded on my device only to see if your updates are accomplished, if you choose not to then I have no other alternative but to give you the lowest star rating possible and not recommend the game to fellow gamers.

Hardcore Tower Defense
Ninja Kiwi has not failed to make a decent SAS game that loyal gamers of the franchise crave about everyday. However, SAS tower Defense like any other SAS game is unforgiving as the slightest margin of error will either get you killed or cost the lives of innocent refugees as you hold back an overwhelming horde of undead with only a handful of Vickers.
The game is by all means a challenge even for the most intelligent gamer to handle also like SAS 3 zombie assault their has not been any new updates for nearly a year as the last update was implemented in 2013.

Ok I've gotta say I've read most of the reviews and the one that got most of my attention is when someone said it was too hard I just got the game a hour ago and the second time I played it I got to round 57 it's really not that hard the timer is great towers are great but still this game is about strategy I've played with Ninja Kiwi since blooms defense 1 I've played the second one 3,4,5 and I've played sas 3 and just a hour ago this and I already beat the first level and great lvl 40 boss

So glad I found this. But freezes when I purchase extra damage then i have to restart ipad but it still takes the money.... And you can't listen to music while playing it even while in game sounds are turned off. Was great till this happened. Great td game otherwise!

To all those complaining
I won't lie this game is hard-very hard and that's why is fun and unique. Every other tower defense game is WAY to easy. I have completed every level on this game on Nightmare difficulty if this game is to hard for you then play BalloonsTD. My highest wave I'm on is 837 and I'm still doing that level it's possible if you try.

This is honest. BUG FIX
It's rare that I even catch one bug on any game I play. Extremely rare. On this game I have found several. I watch the trailers and download the apps they feature for more sas cash and I try to buy more cash for kills and the game freezes. Another bug is that the massive lag at higher levels cause crashing nearly every round.
Yet another is that I can't select things like barbed wire when it's in between two towers. It just ends up selecting one of the two towers. Again, honestly I rarely find bugs. Please update this game more

UPDATE NEEDED!
Ninja Kiwi are one of my favorite game developers but when it came to this game, it has to many problems. The difficulties are to tough, need to tone it down and add a few more maps and difficulties. I play this game on my iPad. Now when I go to purchase upgrades in game because you need to spend SAS money you get in game to unlock the next upgrade. When I purchase this up grade, the game freezes every time. No matter what I do do or how often it won't fix it and I am getting no where in the game. Please fix and then I will fix this review and recommend this game.

I have play this when it started when the new IOS update I couldn’t play it no more. But this game was my favorite I would always play this game for hours. This game also has everything I needed, the graphics is amazing, certainly one of the best but, pls update a game. Pls pls update

Really nice game but....
It is a great game but for one problem it needs to be easier by a long shot please. Another problem is that some times near the end of the round a glitch happens and the last zombie stops right when it comes out just out of my turret reach and I have to end the game.
If it is made easier and less glitchy in the next update I will rate 5 for sure and a sandbox mode would be awesome!
