Description

Message friends in your own handwritten font!

Scribblr combines the speed of typing with the personality of script. Create your font by drawing characters with fluid and natural strokes in the Scribblr app. Then, type some text in an app like iMessage or Facebook Messenger and use the Scribblr keyboard to convert it to your handwritten font!

Scribblr also lets you draw custom emoji and send them to your friends. By creating your own emoji, you can send the perfect one in every situation — and they mean more, since each is unique. Want to send a Pikachu emoji? A freckled-vampire-wearing-a-cowboy-hat emoji? Now you can!

Scribblr is now a keyboard instead of a messenger! This means you can message friends that don't have Scribblr, using apps like iMessage and Facebook Messenger. Install the Scribblr Keyboard in Settings, and then use it in other apps to convert text you've typed to your own handwritten font. From the keyboard you can also send your awesome emoji to anyone.

(So that the keyboard can access your font and emoji, you'll need to open the main Scribblr app after installing this update.)

Your emojis got a whole lotta love in this update:
- Emojis now have their own view: no need to scroll to the bottom of your font
- Export an emoji by tapping on it in the emoji view, and then use it anywhere: iMessage, Facebook, Tumblr, whatevs
- Emojis in message threads are slightly larger
- Save up to 40 extra emojis with an optional In-App Purchase

Also, in the conversations view, swipe from the left edge to reveal the control panel! It’s all kinds of satisfying.

A bunch of bugs were fixed too.

Great
Fun, simple, clever. Messages are brought to life when they’re in my friend’s fonts.
Incawarrior74,
Has potential to be Legendary!
Love the concept. Just wish with a few updates this app can be legendary.
1. Needs an eraser
2. Add memory. To make more font styles
3. A way to be able to type your font as a keyboard..
love the idea and the potential it has.. there is plenty more little quirks you can add but I’ll leave it at those 3. For now
thewellbalancedgeek,
Very personal messaging.
This app totally makes sense. What could be a more personal way to message someone but with your own handwriting. I had a blast experimenting with different styles of letters. iOS built in fonts are plain but this app lets you make your messages "you". Great work!

Ineffective
This app does not work. While I was excited to message my friends with the font being my handwriting, I was soon discouraged by the difficulty in sending messages. I could not send a single message to anybody. The app kept closing when I went to the ? part of the app, and would not allow me to view it. I speculate that you may only be able to send messages to others with the app. The app should mention this or give some walk through in the beginning. Also, the app states it is compatible with iPod touch, but upon downloading and opening the app, it asked for a phone number, not allowing me to enter my iMessage address since iPods do not come with a number for messaging. This was another disadvantage. I would not buy this app unless they fix some things and clarify others.

This is an awesome way to send a personalized message. You can even make your own emojis!!! I love this app. I almost use it more than iMessage. Sometimes it could be a little faster loading the messages but other than that it's awesome.

Fun and personalized
Cool idea. This is a fun way to message people. I especially like the emojis.
Slenderman's proxy-Hoodie,
Waste of time
I downloaded the app because it looked fun and easy to do. But it took me forever to get everything set up and then it tells me that I have to pay $1.99 to be able to keep using the app. It also won't send any of the texts in my handwriting. If you want this app, don't get it because it's a waste of time and in the future, money.

I've been looking for this app I finally found it ORAISE THEBDKDNDJSNDN
Unholybeast,
Umm
Why does it need my phone number? I'm not just going to put my number into any random app. At least tell me why the app needs my phone number to work??
EmilGVelt,
Awful
Needs a complete overhaul of the handwriting technology and another year of design work. Just terrible. Remove from store
