Seminary and Institute Hack 3.6.2 + Redeem Codes

I enjoy it because it provides the readings for seminary and gives me my attendance percentage, but every single time I bring it up I have to slide down to reload it multiple times to say I’m registered, which is annoying. Also after a while, that didn’t work so I tried deleting and re downloading it, but then it wouldn’t allow me to change roles making me stuck in institute.

App still has bugs that need working out. The app has frozen on me multiple times, making me close and open, or log out and back in. Then when trying to update my contact info for each child, it tells me to check my internet connection. There’s nothing wrong with my internet connection, but rather the app’s ability to sync with the website. Thank goodness I was able to go to the Seminary website and update each child’s contact information. The MySeminary website operates much more smoothly.
Please work on making this app more user friendly, and for parent accounts, more parent friendly. Switching between children should be a breeze.

The app suggests to provide an interactive portal for parents to their seminary students, but I see this as merely a tool to verify my sons are going to class and reading. I can ask them for that info!
Why not present a tool that allows me to learn with my kids. It could be as simple as the teacher checking a curriculum box indicating the subject being studied. Otherwise, this app is a simple waste of time. I trust my kids to go to class, but deeper learning comes in discussion and this app could serve as a promoter of doctrinal touch-point discussions at home.

Oh wait, I just realized the failure is the seminary teacher's and not the App! I will contact the seminary and query their ability to use this app to enable Home-Centered Gospel Learning and then update this review.

Can’t make a new password without being asked to add more characters to it 50 times, and when I finally do manage to make a new password, it tells me that’s it’s incorrect and I can’t use the app. I’ve tried recovering my account through email, (which by the way, it won’t even send you a verification email). So then I moved to phone, which it won’t even send a text to my phone so I had to use my parents’ instead. It still tells me my password is incorrect when I reset it. Finally, I used the church record information and nothing works. It tells me that my newly made password is incorrect. This app is very poorly made and impossible to login to.

...but It would maybe get a certificate of attendance for showing up. A for effort, C- for execution. Problems syncing and showing accurate info, switches between semesters randomly and sometimes shows this semesters info in next semesters, etc. still needs to have quite a few bugs worked out for more consistent use. Also my kids would like to see what day their teacher has assigned which reading assignment. As it is I have to give them a separate schedule to follow (sometimes it is a doctrinal lesson one day with no scripture reading and then the next day they have 2 days worth of reading in one day).

I am a seminary teacher and this app is an absolute joke. It works for the kids about 25% of the time—and many of the kids can’t get it to work at all. It used to work for teachers to take attendance (sporadically), but now that functionality is gone too.
If you are a teacher and want to take attendance, the app directs you to the Wise2 website—but it isn’t optimized for mobile. So unless you have a PC—you can’t do anything. Hopefully the church gets its act together soon. The fact that it has been essentially non-functional for over a year gives the impression that seminary is not a priority for the church.

The app crashes every time I try to open it. I put in my passcode, it says “authenticating” and then “success!” And then promptly crashes. When I first downloaded the app, it worked fine but seemed to be missing most of the information we had already put in when we registered our daughter in the spring. When I tried to update the information, it could not update. Please fix. The teacher wants both the student and the parents to use the app, but we can’t if it isn’t working or working properly.

App has been great, but a recent update does not allow for teachers to switch programs to another program location. It seems like the update created a pop up window, specific to a program location, that can’t be switch out of now.
Seems to crash with the new update when using a fingerprint login. Please help these bugs and return the usefulness of this great app.

I am just starting high school and am in seminary. This app made it really easy to check off my work, but now, it doesn’t work and permanently set me to institute. I can’t go into settings and change it like I used to. I also had problems before this happened. It would only load my classes when I was connected to data, not WiFi. Please fix these bugs so I don’t have to keep writing notes to my seminary teacher telling him that I was unable to check off my work.

When I first installed the app it worked perfectly and I was able to mark reading quickly and easily, but now every time I open up the app it asks me to log in, and once I do it says Authenticating and never finishes, it’s annoying because I check almost every day and give it 15 min to load but it never does. I’ve un-installed the app and restarted my phone multiple times but it doesn’t make a difference. Please fix this.
