Curlygirl458,
AMAZING APP
I love this app so much! I started Keto about a month ago and have lost about 10 pounds so far. I knew in order to keep losing weight, I would need to track exactly what I was eating. I initially tried about 5 different tracking apps, and finally settled on this one. This app makes tracking so quick and easy, and reminds me to log my food. You can also track fasts, AND there is also a map feature that tells you what restaurants near you have the best Keto options and what they are/ their macros. Also, there is a space for you to ask questions about your diet/etc and someone will answer it within a few hours. You can also have someone review your macros with you. Thank you so much Senza app creators for this unbelievable app!! I’m obsessed!

Great app overall, wish it had percentage option
I’m on the keto diet and I love this app for ease of input, and the interface, especially love that I can track/input fasts AND track my keto intakes. That being said, I really wish I had the option of tracking percentages. I’ve been doing keto for 3+ weeks now and I was doing great in week one, but I never know if I’m going to have gained or lost, from day to day. When all is said and done, this diet is about maintaining PERCENTAGES of intake, and while I *can* do the math to figure out where I stand, I already hate having to input every single thing I eat so the idea of having to figure out how much of my total was carbs/protein/fats at multiple points throughout the day is frustrating, and I never remember to do it. I look at my tally and can see I’m well under my budget for each category and feel like I’m doing good, then the next day I see I gained .4 lb and realize it’s because the 3 grams of green beans with dinner put me at 15% and I didn’t eat enough meat to counter. But I didn’t eat one single thing that was “a cheat”, I tracked every single gram of food, all my categories are in the green, I just didn’t do the math and let my percentages go askew, and it is REALLY, really frustrating.
Mphadd,
Awesome tool
I really like this app. I switched from a different app to this one because I like some of the features. I definitely wish you had the option to change the colors to lighter because the dark is hard to see if there is glare. I also wish you could see the percentage of how much you've eaten of each macro. For instance, fat has been 79% of your intake today. I like that my other app could do this. I would love if this was in a visual graph like the other app I use where it shows a circle with each macro and how much you've completed and how much you have left. The lines at the top of this app are hard to see. They would be perfect as they are for putting in food as long as you could have the option to see percentages. It also is difficult when you click on a foot or menu item and you can't see all of the words because it is too long. It would be great if you could click on a section with keto friendly items to purchase at the stores. Sometimes it's overwhelming knowing what to buy at the store. This is definitely the best app I've seen and I thinking adding some more changes and making it a bit more user friendly would be awesome!
KimberlyKub,
A lil dark, makes it hard to read...
But it’s going in the right direction for me. A light option for screen would be nice. I’d give it five stars except finding info on how to do things requires a google search for me, my totals for my macros don’t add up correctly, editing my ketones doesn’t appear to be possible even entering in the value a second time, again correctly it is recorded wrong and I can’t edit it that I can find. It grabbed a weight from my apple health that was old and I can’t change it, it doesn’t recognize that different ketones analyzer tools offer different values and the trend screen doesn’t reflect that my breathalyzer reading has me in Ketosis because there’s no way to let it know the type of analyzer tool. So the reading I entered makes my trend off. Having said all that it’s a decent keto app and could be a really good one with some tweaks. Good food library so far. Hopefully they’ll keep developing it
manusgoneketo,
Improve the app
I like this app but when you log and then turn it into a recipe it would be nice to have a share option because I have family and friends who eat at my house then need to log and it would be easier if I could just share my logged recipes. Also when I log an item say 2 pieces of bacon and then later I log 6 pieces of bacon, the app automatically changes the first log into 6 instead of 2. Or if I save a recipe every time I log that recipe again I have to readjust the measurements of all the ingredients from when I originally logged it because again if I’ve logged something that’s in the recipe since then it changes the amounts. For instance if the recipe had .5oz chicken but then the next day I eat 6oz of chicken (not in that recipe, just plain chicken) the next time I log the recipe, I have to go in and change the chicken back to .5oz because the app changed it to 6oz... it’s annoying...
Jaylm,
So happy I found it
I can’t believe this App is free! I have used it since February, and it has helped immensely. I use it for tracking my weight, exercise, sleep, calories, carbs, fat and protein. It is the first diet app that has really taken into account my age and height to figure out my sietary needs. FINALLY, I have lost over 15 pounds and kept it off. I feel wonderful. I am a person who in the past 20 years has lost 100 pounds and gained 120! A true yo-yo. I don’t want to turn this into a testimony to Keto, but I wouldn’t have been as successful without this app. And the biggest surprise…when I submit a question, it’s answered by a real person, usually the same day. I am so happy that I discovered this.
R-Tuck,
Great Tool with Room for Improvement
I’ve been using this app for about a month and I really like it. I would really like to see the menu section built out though so I can enter a whole recipe and the number of servings and allow the app to generate the amounts instead of me dividing it out and making it fit. For me, this would be a much easier and more accurate function. I would also like to have all possible options available to me when identifying the amounts of something because sometimes 0.2 is not clear enough. Another suggestion is to link in some fitness options, maybe linking to the Health app or to a fitbit or something. I’m thinking a myfitnesspal or lose it feel. Otherwise i think the tool in its current state and is very helpful with my weightloss journey. Thank you!
obx sea beach,
Love it
Found it by accident - so glad I did! Have struggled and been frustrated by mfp- (trying to trick it into recording my info correctly- like net carbs and then having to pay if I want to unlock certain things like macros..) this app I look forward to opening! I love the feed- like a bonus option of tips and recipes.. the fast option, the way u record with the slider, it breaks down each day- even each food-the ease of recording is great! some folks were a little miffed by the dark color of the top bar- but I like it. Maybe something I haven’t figured out yet is how to graph one thing continuously.. but I love this app— and so I use this app which makes a big difference!! So glad I found it- thanks!!
Peedles9,
Great App for keto beginners
I absolutely love this app! It has made switching to a keto lifestyle so easy.

The best part about it is you can plan what you want to eat that day. It’s like having a meal plan made for you but you get to choose what you want to eat as long as it’s within your macros. The suggestions they give for recipes are helpful and made keto less restrictive.

Barcode scanner is definitely a plus. The recipe finder is a lifesaver when you run out of dinner ideas. The food I’ve made for my family has been getting raving reviews.

The one thing I wish you could do is important a recipe from an online source or even one that is from the app and edit it to better fit what is in your refrigerator.

Example: used a recipe for a strawberry smoothie to make a blueberry one and I excluded the sugar and used coconut milk instead of heaving whipping cream. I don’t have the time to create an entire recipe but if I could export that recipe into the recipe creation link I could quickly edit it.

If the app can do this please let me know :)

Overall love the app and will continue to recommend it.
Spiral0279,
Great app, almost perfect.
I am coming from “mynetdiary” app, which I’ve used for several years now. I’ve tried several others but kept going back. I really want to use this app, not only does it have some great features but it also looks great!

One thing...
The ability on any item the change the measurements (i.e. grams to oz or teaspoon to tablespoon to cup). Those are conversions you could let us do within the app so I don’t need to bust out the calculator. An item I add to my log only had the option for tablespoons, we know there are 3 teaspoons in that, so I don’t know why I couldn’t select 2 teaspoons. I can do the math, but it would be nice if the app would automatically. Also, part of this. Measuring things like mushrooms, why don’t you have grams as a unit of measuring?
