Nothing is nicer than seeing your cats safe at home when you're away on a trip - unless you can't, which happens fairly regularly with this product.

The app is horrible, impossible to use and confusing. Looks like very little effort went into its design and usability. Setup is not a breeze by any means. At least 40% of the time the app won't connect to the camera - even when nothing has changed (same wifi, consistent power, up to date app, etc). It's a mystery.

When it does work, it pans just fine and quality is acceptable. Speaking through the app makes a horrendous echo on the camera end - it's fine to attract the attention of a pet, but you won't be having a full conversation with someone without extreme difficulty.

Let's finish on a high note. The pros:
- cheap
- image quality good when it works
- night vision works

I found myself scrolling through your device’s menu during a sleepless night. The interface is very nice indeed. My compliments to your graphic designer. The aesthetic and efficiency is most satisfying. I’m using a version 7 iPod touch with iOS 12. Also, the software and hardware in general are really well designed and orchestrated. Please tell me the software tools you use to create your product. Again, my compliments on an all around excellent product. Regards.

I bought this at target for $79 I brought it home I hooked it up everything seem to be working fine until it’s shut off I turned it back on the plug was still in everything was still normal it was turning on fine but it would not connect to the app anymore and I’ve had it now for two days and it still will not connect to the app I’ve called customer service I’ve done everything that I can they don’t know nor do I about how or why the camera is not connecting to my iPhone I’m gonna try to return it tomorrow but do not waste your money on this camera I had a camera from 2014 that was similar to this and it worked better #ripoff #dontwasteyourmoney #target

I have been using this camera for several years as a security camera. It was easy to set up, takes great video, has sensitivity settings to record on motion detection, and records at night using infrared. The SereneViewer app used for setup and playback is very easy to use. I was shopping to buy a second camera for another house and was surprised by the low ratings this camera has received. Decided to post my own rating for this camera.

If you want to feel or actually be safe, don’t bother with this app and it’s accompanying cameras. The notifications never work consistently. The basic functions of the app rarely ever work the same way. One day you may have to see snapshots by clicking one button, and the next day the snapshots can only be seen by clicking a different button. So bottom line; this app won’t actually help you stay safe (it will likely fail to send you a notification of someone breaking in your door), and once you realize that, you won’t feel safe either. The cameras seem decent but without a good app, you may as well get different cams.

The app is constantly quitting when in use or won’t even open and start up I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it,the iPad that is used for it, is up to date there should be no reason why it quits and acts ups so much. This is used as a baby monitor and it’s important that it works and that I can rely on it to not shut off in the middle of the night or at any time. Please fix!

Camera quality is good but you can only see that when the app works

I had to use the Ethernet cables to get my cameras to work but they work well. The image quality is good and I can maneuver the cameras from my phone screen. I can even take snapshots which are usually of my dog sleeping in crazy positions (which makes for laughter at work).

I like the fact that I am notified of any motion and I can control the sensitivity level. I had to purchase a WiFi extender for the camera at the rear of my condo but it’s all good!

We use this as a baby monitor and it’s been buggy for the 6 months we’ve used it on a daily basis. But this week, it stopped working altogether. We’ve troubleshooted everything many times and it’s just not displaying at all anymore just displaying an error message that says network connection failed try again later. Updated app. Restarted camera. Restarted app. On current version. So frustrating.

Our camera screen is no longer able to switch to horizontal mode for better viewing on IPhone & then the app crashes when we try. This has been happening for weeks now, so our family is considering having to buy an entirely new camera system. What is the issue here? Why is the app not being properly updated with the Apple software?

For those who are frustrated with the app crashing, shut off your WIFI when outside the house. I did several test runs today, if u have a weak WIFI signal in a remote location while checking the home camera, the app won’t load. Turn off WIFI & it should be fine. Three stars for now because setup with Ethernet was a PIA. By trial & error, I was finally able to sync it.
