Yi Eye Hack 2.0.3 + Redeem Codes

Need more help and no way to find it. I had this camera set up in one room at work. Worked just fine. Then brought it home to set up to put in my home with different WiFi and all it says is timeout. I have deleted app I have spent a long time trying to set up. I would say if I could get help and get service to getting it set up I would rate at 5star for when it worked. But moving from one place to another it has been trouble. Please help. :/

Very poorly designed app for an expensive camera! It was difficult to connect to WiFi the first time, despite having strong internet connection (Cox Gigablast). Setup kept “timing out”. Once finally setup, the connection lasted less than a week before falling offline and I was never able to get the app to work again. I’ve tried resetting and reinstalling multiple times. My router shows that the camera is connected fine BUT the app itself will not connect, even when both the camera and my phone are directly next to the router. It just keeps timing out during setup over and over again. Glad I kept the box cause this is getting returned TODAY. Disappointed.

I submitted a long constructive review and it disappeared. So let's make this short and sweet, Apple@support should revoke permission for this application (a grade schoolers homework maybe) so there is no confusion that it has been vetted.
The application does not work, has no meaningful error messages, no help functions and so buyer beware.

This needs to be removed from an App Store offering as the quality is so inferior there is no security attached to it. It is supposed to be a security application and the times zones are from China and not changeable!

I did not know this application was associated with the security product I purchased until I got home and had to set it up. Had I known it and had googled it I would've been warned by the poor reviews. I think the retailers need to stop selling products linked to this company until the company can apply the level of standards that we have come to expect in the United States for applications sold in 2018.

These are not cheap products sell buyer beware!

The app worked for a short while until it began to show “timeout” for everything. Now I can’t see recordings or even share them….nothing works.

It seems extremely slow and will not play back recordings. It’s made the app literally unusable and garbage. The low ratings are justified. What a pity because the cameras are actually alright….this app ruins everything though.

Pretty cool so far!!! I have shared it with my daughters, and I get more calls from them just saying hi, because they sent me on the camera. If I thought something like this would bring me and my daughters closer together I would have installed it years ago. I installed it due to a recent break in, and it’s a huge relieve to know I can look at my phone anytime and see what’s going on.

This product was easy to install and easy to setup. Took less than 10 minutes. Picture is clear and detailed and the sound is also clear. I would recommend this product to anyone.

After setting it up and getting a fairly wide view of the area to be monitored (wider would be better), it has been impossible to Enable detection on either a schedule or on constantly.

Occasionally I get a notice (after not getting any for weeks) that "Motion detected." When I check, there's a minute long recording of a minimal event that triggered it. So, a minute of nothing recorded after the tiniest trigger OUTSIDE the room to be monitored. Meanwhile there were countless times that I was in the room - and no recordings ever occurred.

One recording was completely fuzzed out, like a TV screen with constant static.

Unless there is published notification that these problems have been corrected, do not purchase. Especially as you have to make multiple adjustments, often on a ladder, to get the camera lens positioned properly.

Got my cameras set up relatively easily, and both were recording motion. Then, on one of my devices, nothing. If I click the backlog, I’m told that the memory card is unmounted. I’ve factory re-set the device, I’ve taken the memory card out and put it back in, but no resolution. The other one has been working fine for a day and a half, and now is periodically telling me the same thing. App is lagging ridiculously. I’ve emailed the seller without a response. And can’t find anywhere else to reach out to them.

This is by far one of the worst apps ever. It never works when you need it to and you can’t easily manage your device from it. Should your device go offline for any reason like a power outage or you reset your router, then you will have to reconnect your device by deleting it and physically reading it. There is no easy way to just try and reconnect or refresh. My device itself is great, why they chose to use this app is beyond me. If I could give negative stars I would.

The problems people are experiencing are probably caused by poor WiFi router placement or ignorance. I’ve had absolutely no problems.

The app is fully featured and has no problems.

It is difficult for me to understand the poor ratings.
