Shovel Knight Dig Hack 1.1.4 + Redeem Codes

As a shovel knight fan i’m very excited to see this finally out. So far it’s a great game and has all the awesome shovel knight mechanics that we know and love. One thing though, is that the touch controls (both options available) are very weird to use. The action is fast and sometimes you get lost in the controls since it’s all just touch screen. They have another option for controls where you can just swipe and tap instead of traditional “buttons” but i found it a bit confusing and weird. i’ll most likely be purchasing this game on my switch to play it instead, so i can have some real buttons and a dpad.

edit: i downloaded it on my imac and played it with my ps4 controller, and the game feels pretty nice. i’ve also got a bit more used to the touch controls; i just now beat the first boss on level one with touch controls. what’s cool is that my progress syncs between my phone and imac so i can play it on either one and keep my cloud progress. i’ll probably still get this on the switch later on but for now i’m playing it on my computer and phone 🤙🏼

I really do enjoy the game! It’s fast paced, difficult but fair, quick but not rushed, and feels new so playing it has been a blast! Up until this morning, that is. I enjoy the touch screen controls but as an avid console gamer I tend to prefer controller when possible. That being said, as of today while playing the game on my iPhone 14 Pro Max with any of my DualShock 4 (normal ps4) controllers connected I can’t move my character to the right. All other commands work except moving my character, and menu options, to the right. I’ve tested other games to ensure it wasn’t just all three of my controllers having the same problem and they all worked fine with other games. I’ve deleted and re downloaded the game and the problem remains. Just wanted to share that I’m experiencing these difficulties just in case anyone else was as well 🙂

This game is dumb hard. It’s way too hard for what it is. Usually, games are a little bit easier when you start playing in the first early levels, and the difficulty progresses in an arc as you learn the game's mechanics. However, this game is dumb hard right from the beginning. To add insult to injury, they never explain the game's mechanics, which is a little perplexing, considering I’ve never played a game like this before, so it’s not entirely obvious how things work. I still can’t figure out how to kill monsters with the shovel. It seems like every time I go to try and attack one. I get hurt in the process. It’s mind-boggling to me. I don’t know how anybody plays this game. I can’t figure out what the mechanics are supposed to be like, and the controls are dumb hard how am I supposed to jump and shovel at the same time and choose which direction to go in? It’s dumb hard. It’s making me angry it’s so poorly executed. What did they make this game for it? Because they were not thinking of phones and touchscreens when they made it, and the gay horse is a bit insulting, I don’t know why they need to have a gay horse.

I want to love this game but I just cannot. I finally started getting a handle on the (unpolished) touch controls and having a good run, when I wandered into a secret room only to get stuck in a corner behind some 1x1 tiles which, after 5 minutes of desperately jumping and swinging, could not free myself and ultimately gave up. Why would I dedicate myself to improving with these touch controls and learning the game when I run the risk of getting inexplicably trapped at no fault of my own? The gorgeous visual and amazing soundtrack are unfortunately not enough to keep me coming back.

Polish the controls and do more bug testing and maybe I will give this game a second chance. At this point I cannot recommend this game which is unfortunate because alot of love and care has obviously been put into making it. Alas, I don’t expect this review to make any sort of impact as this game is currently sitting at a comfortable 4.7 stars. I don’t know who is playing this thing and having such a great experience but I suspect they are using bluetooth controllers and haven’t been a victim of these game breaking bugs or can overlook them. I cannot.

Seriously, if this game was in an arcade with quarters I’d be in gambling anonymous. The controls took a bit getting used to but the journey was bearable.
Plenty of secrets, strategy, and Walt just one more try moments, in the first play 20 minutes of playing it’s no wonder the title remains installed on my phone.
I may have played too long initially as when switching apps and returning to gameplay my progress was deleted leaving me to restart from the my initial phase.
This was before changing profiles to the beta version but did not deter me from picking the game back up. After the glitch I finally unlocked the second armor and make it through the first boss neatly with ease now. The new armor is fantastic and the unlocked relics bring about new strategies for completing levels.
My wife knows the tune to this game and I’m starting to think she enjoys watching my play.
I am seeing more freezes now with the beta version of iOS but not enough to stop me from digging and jumping through the mines of constant calamity. I’m currently restarting after every attempt being stuck napping near a soon to be dredged mine hole. Otherwise great game to play even when not taking the Browns to the Super Bowl.

I like this game a lot but there is a major bug that crashes the game and permanently corrupts save data. I was just playing a run like normal and one time the room I get at the beginning is the tutorial room. I was really confused so I went through as normal but when I was going to the next area, the game suddenly crashes. I reload the game only to find that my save data is completely gone! When I opened up the game again the intro played as normal until another text box from the gravestone appeared during the cutscene. I think the game was corrupted so I reloaded the game and the same text box appeared on the title screen so I tried to delete the file and it wouldn’t let me! any time I try to start a new run, that same text box keeps appearing. If you can, please fix this as soon as possible so I can start playing again.

Just out of the gate i want to say it’s a great game But I have read a lot of reviews complaining about a bunch of bugs but I haven’t experienced any so either they fixed them or…. Also (for a compromise to saltas (the name was something like that) what about a Shield knight something?) and you just have to play a lot and if you get to the next stage you can skip there if you have enough gems to do so if you talk to a shady cat person to the left of the well(the far left) also will someone tell me what happens when you defeat the omega saw as I have gotten the screwdriver and I threw the screwdriver at the omega saw but I missed and I haven’t been able to find a thing to start the quest again. Also they added a dark knight but it’s really hard

This game is great! If you want to get to the true end you have to 1. Knock the owl into the well and find him in the mine. 2. Then get cog on a string and get all there cogs ⚙️ to break the machine allowing you to get to the other one. If you took smeltworks, go to the water one. If you took the water one, take smeltworks. 3. Sacrifice 3 abilities. It will allow you to make it to a room with the skeleton key. Then, in the next biome\area you will have to escort a bomb to an area that looks like wall you can break. It will be able to blow up there. That room will have the omega driver. When going against drill knight, do not use the driver. Wait until the omega saw appears, then use the driver on it. The saw will make a hole in the floor, showing the true ending. Have fun!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀

The app has a really cool design. The component parts are great, but I’ve been playing for 3 or 4 days now and I’m still confused about how to progress. Buying items is kinda weird (I think you buy items to unlock them but you don’t actually gain possession of them immediately). Progressing through levels is way too difficult. Sometimes I barely make it through the first phase of a mine and have no health left starting the second phase and then have to start all over again when I die. How do I get more health? Either let me restart at the second phase when I die as if it’s a checkpoint, or refill health when a player reaches a new phrase. Maybe also eliminate or turn down the number of creatures magnetically attracted to me in the earlier phases. Let people get their sea legs and make it a better progression.

Do you like digging for virtual gems? Do you like flying eyeballs killing you so that you lose all those gems? Do you then like to go collect all of them again? If you like clunky controls, pointlessly collecting gems and items that vanish when you miss your swipe on that green goo pile, then look no further. This game is for you.

In all seriousness, this game is an exercise in punishment with no real reward. Dig until you die, at which point you’ll lose all your purchased gear, and your gems will float away in little winged bags. Sometimes you might encounter a floating bag and get some gems back, but if you spend more than a few seconds trying to get the bad - or explore the room - a big drill comes to kill you, which causes you to lose it all again anyway. It’s boringly repetitive.

Spend some time outside with a real shovel and at the very least you’ll get some exercise and work up an appetite.
