ShowPal Movies is the best way to manage, discover and keep track of your movies. It's powered with Trakt so you can get all your up-to-date info synced in every device.
We have built a gesture driven interface so you can mark as watched, as favorite or even change the cover artwork with simple, intuitive finger gestures.
We don't want to bore you with the same interface, so you can customize the app by changing between two different layouts: Poster and Fanart. Hardcore users will love the condensed view option!
Once you have chosen the layout, you can customize the Poster and Fanart images with a simple swipe; browsing the images at full screen, and even save and share them.
You can also change the app's color scheme (Light and Dark) and choose from six different highlight colors.
Finally, you can use the tinted option to enhance the app’s UI. You can even make ShowPal automatically look different every day!
When you are in the mood for new movies, tap the add button to go to the Discovery area, where you can see our personal picks, trending and popular movies. You can now sync your movie posters and backdrops via iCloud. Choose your favourite image on the iPhone and see the same image when using iShows on your iPad.
Also, in case you have to delete iShows and reinstall it, we will recover all your previous selected images!
And last but not least, Trakt.tv sync should be much, much faster now.

- Watch Now! You can now see where your favourite movies can be streamed or purchased. You can even open the Netflix app to watch your movie. All from within iShows! Go to your movie detail to access this new section and make sure to select your country.

Is anyone keeping this app operational?
Seems quite inconsistent lately! When searching for a movie, “boxes” might appear, but some have the “poster art”, some are blank. Then you can’t activate/open them. When looking at a particular movie and the cast, sometimes you can click on the cast members box and see other movies they have been in. You used to be able to “activate” those posters and add other movies to your list, sometimes this feature works...sometimes it doesn’t.
Has been terribly frustrating using this app over the last year. Have they stopped keeping it updated and functional?

Recently released or coming soon
Ive had this app for like...ever. Still neither a recently released or coming soon tab to explore in either this or on iShows TV. It would make things that much better and would motivate me more to raise this to 5 stars.
Its a great app that I don’t think I could live without now that we have a ton of streaming services with their own “queue” that fragment the way we manage what we watch all in one place. I hope one day this becomes a feature.

The concept for this app is amazing and something I’ve been searching for since discovering Tv Time, the show tracker. At first, I thought this app was really cool (and still do to an extent), it’s just incredibly frustrating that it crashes every few minutes. If you can fix that, it’s something I would keep and continue to use.

Used to be good, now it destroys Trakt lists
This app used to do exactly what I wanted, storing movies I want to watch later and sync them to a list on Trakt. Now every time it syncs, it syncs every movie I have ever collected on Trakt to that list, destroying everything that I built that list up for. No idea why anyone would want their whole collection in a list.... isn’t that what the COLLECTION is for??? Dev, feel free to fix this if its a bug. Otherwise, I guess I need to find a new app.

Worked. Now it's useless.
Well this worked well and I liked it. But recently it started not keeping update no would Mark a movie as being viewed and it would go away from needing to be seen. Then I would exit and go back to the app and it would be right back saying I needed to watch it. Making this app worthless until fixed.

useless app without premium, overpriced for in app purchase
the point of this app is usless if you don’t pay the premium and you can’t decide if the features are worth the extra cost. The point of an in-app upgrade is to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY and you can’t do this because the developer only wants you to pay him before trying the purchases.

Could have been great.
Another abandoned app that had potential. I wish I had not wasted my money. Searching for movies works sporadically and the trakt syncing requires multiple syncs to work and a host of other issues.

Frustrating
Had to pay for the app just so I could see what features it didn’t have then it was a major let down. I have decided I will just develop my own version of a trakt integrated app and it will be free 👍

Trakt integration is worthless
I put a lot of movies into my Trakt watchlist. I downloaded this app because it was supposed to sync with Trakt.
First it was "pay $3 for that feature." OK.
Then, the Trakt watchlist is completely different from the watchlist in this app. Really? That's "integration"?
