ShowPal TV is the best way to manage, discover and keep track of your favorite TV shows. Now powered with Trakt so you can get all your up-to-date info synced in every device.
In order to manage your TV shows easily, we have built a gesture driven interface so you can mark as watched, as favorite or even archive your finished shows with simple, intuitive finger gestures.
You can sort your TV shows with three different sorting options: Next Episode, Last Episode and Alphabetically. Choose the one that suits your watching habits.
Since this is an app you're going to use every day, we don't want to bore you with the same interface, so you can customize the app by changing between two different layouts: Poster and Fanart. Hardcore users will love the condensed view option!
Once you have chosen the layout, you can customize the Poster and Fanart images with a simple swipe; browsing the images at full screen, and even save and share them.
You can also change the app's color scheme (Light and Dark) and choose from six different highlight colors.
Finally, you can use the tinted option to enhance the app’s UI. You can even make ShowPal automatically look different every day!
When you are in the mood for new TV shows, tap the add button to go to the Discovery area, where you can see our personal picks, trending and popular shows. If you're connected to Trakt.tv, you can also get recommendations based on your shows, as well as find out what TV shows your friends are watching.
We highly encourage you to create a Trakt.tv account; doing so will allow you to keep a backup of your watched history and also comment or rate your favorite TV shows. If you plan on using ShowPal both on your iPhone and your iPad, a Trakt.tv account is a must.
Last, but not least, we have made some beautiful themes to change the whole UI based on our most loved TV shows, like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. We also plan to develop new themes in the future ;)

This version fixes the problem where some people lost their TV Shows data and watched progress.
For some people, just opening the app will fix the problem. Unfortunately, some other people will need to delete and reinstall the app to fully recover from the problem. Don't worry, it will retrieve your backup from Trakt.tv, so you will not lose any of your data. If you happen to have a manual backup, you can import it as well to get all your favorite TV Shows back.
Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
To make it up to you, we've not only made iShows much more robust to prevent these issues from happening in the future, but we've also added a brand new feature! You can now sync your iShows theme with the system one, so whenever you set dark or light mode on iOS, iShows will change accordingly.

You can now sync your TV Show posters and backdrops via iCloud. Choose your favourite image on the iPhone and see the same image when using iShows on your iPad.

iOS 13 performance issues
This app is everything I could wish for. Even obscure shows can be found and tracked. The only problem is the performance with iOS version 13. Every since iOS 13 the app has been lagging and “sticking” when using it. Tapping on shows would cause the app to lag and create a 5-10 seconds delay before reacting. I believe something in iOS 13 broke the app because this did not happen in IOS 12. I just wish the app could have been updated to address this issue but only time can tell. I’m still using the app in spite of the problems since it’s so good.

Could use improvement- member for years
I’m hoping you can take not of my review considering I paid for and have continually used this app since I was 15. I’m now 22. There is a bug that absolutely destroys the experience for me. I will go through a show that I once marked as watched and mark it as I watched because my memory is terrible and I would like to watch it again, therefore use the app to keep track of my new viewings. But it NEVER fully deletes my watched. I will unclick the same episodes watched icon over and over and every time I refresh or reopen the app it’s back. It will always be just a couple that stick never all of them and I don’t understand. PLEASE FIX THIS! I love this app but I see there hasn’t been any updates recently and I hope developers haven’t given up on it because I do love it so much. If I had to move to a different app I would be upset and unsatisfied because this app always had everything I’ve asked for.

The BEST TV App
iShows TV is seriously the best TV management app on iOS. I've had it for a year and a half now, and love its features. The UI is really well thought out, and has plenty of options. I've tried similar apps, which on the surface seem great, but they lack features and mostly attempt to "wow" buyers with cover art, while offering a claustrophobic and confusing UI. iShows goes FAR beyond that, giving you access to full, clearly presented info on shows and episodes, AND allows you to see which TV/streaming services TV shows are available on. iShows clearly displays the number of episodes that are available to watch, along with the ability to customize the app's theme. Finally, you're even able to select your preferred cover art from images pulled from Trakt.
The one bit of feedback I have is that it would be great to have 1-2 additional 'favorites' screens for more organization options.

Improvements are finally making this app what it should have always been.
Update 4: I keep having to reduce my rating. After iOS 13 this app is trash. It stalls when marking things as watched. It is now crashing and that is after it marked everything not mine as unwatched. So now I'm lost on things I still have to watch. So what's the point?!? I want to like this app. For the lounge of God. Fix it already!!!!
Update 3: They fixed the crashing issue and much to my surprise after saying earlier that they simply wouldn't do landscape mode because it was "so broken" they've finally decided to add it for both iPad and iPhone. The app is much better overall now. Their Support staff is still lacking and does not reply (running 1/3 times I've contacted them).
Update 2: Newest version crashes constantly. Now near unusable. Keeps getting worse somehow!!!
Update: Now some shows are continuously coming back as unwatched even after meeting them watched dozens of times. I'm about done with this app.
I use this on both my phone and iPad. The decision to remove landscape mode on iPads because "it was so broken and was a quick port to the iPad" is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Fix the program correctly don't limit it. This shows a total lack of commitment to the program. Also it is very annoying you can't change time zones still to reflect the proper show times. Get it together guys. This could be a great five star app if you did.

Best TV show tracker
Having discovered Sidereel was shutting down, I’ve been hunting for a new tracker. I thought TV time might be the best since it was more popular, but after comparing, this one is better. iShows allows you to alphabetize your list (I watch enough things that this is necessary), plus it’s a one time fee (as opposed to a subscription) for premium features. The navigation is a little roundabout at times, with extra clicks to get out of stuff and back to your list. But, once you get familiar with it, it works as expected. There isn’t autofill on the search function, but after pressing enter, I have found every show I need. I complement the design, which is simple, attractive and functional. Thank you!

Good overall with gesture problem
iShows TV is a great tv management app. It’s beautiful. Animation is fluid. It provides different layout options. I really like it. Except for the gesture control.
You can swipe left or right to switch between layouts and light/dark mode & you can also swipe horizontally on posters to do quick actions like changing posters (btw I really like this) or mark as watched. These are great features but cause confusion. I just bought it yesterday and already have marked something as watched when I actually wanted to change theme for multiple times, which is quite annoying because there is no undo button.
If the gesture control to change layouts/themes can be disabled iShow TV will be even better. And a history panel to see (and unwatch) recently watched episodes would be great.

Not as great
This app was good and mostly reliable until lately. It's always crashing now. When I mark episodes as "watched", they return as "unwatched", at least 3 times before finally accepting I watched it. Finding not all American shows show up, but usually a few of those on TLC, Lifetime, Freeform or such. Have never been able to sync between my iPhone and my iPad, so I deleted it from my iPhone. If it keeps causing me problems, it will get deleted on my IPad as well. Hope all the issues get fixed soon. As of December 2019, it has gotten worse. Shows now have double listings. Shows I’ve watched are now listed as new, with no episodes seen. I go to list a show as viewed, then suddenly a whole new list appears. I don’t think they’re able to keep up with iOS updates.

I recommend this app all the time to my show buddies
This is the best app on my phone, truly a godsend. I’m addicted to watching TV shows and I watch at least 10 at a time. So this app comes in very handy to manage all of my shows and I can’t do without it since I love being organized. And I had no issue forking up the money for premium, it felt like a necessity lol. It’s very easy to use, very convenient and is just perfect for everything you need to manage your shows. Customer service is also very helpful and prompt, I’ve had no issues or stress dealing with this app or the developers. Love it!

I love this app but it’s unpredictable
I really really love this app, but as usual everything is going great....until it’s not. Now all of the sudden the app is glitching. Shows I’ve watched are showing up brand new with no episodes available to mark as watched and some show no episodes listed available at all. For the last two days it’s been happening at random but almost all of the shows I’ve been watching have been marked as new and all progress lost for shows I’m not caught up on. I’ll change my review when the app starts working again. Usually when this happens I lose everything. And it happens way more often than I’d like. I only stick with this program because it’s way more effective than some others....When it actually happens to work. Thanks.

Great app!
This was always my favorite tv shows tracker app. I even bought the custom themes. I was sad that it was not working for a while. But I am just seeing the updates being made again and I am pleased about this! So this is also an incentive for the developer to keep the updates and fixes! I rarely leave reviews for apps. Please don’t give up on this app, it is very helpful for people who love tv shows like me! I hope the updates keep coming when necessary! Thank you!
