LBROC,
Simple and effective design
I love the simplicity of the user experience. I want to set daily habits and be able to check them off quickly each day and this app does this perfectly. My only desire is for the option for custom categories - the givens are spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional...but I wish I could create one for “chores” or “responsibilities.” I have some habit goals that don’t fit into the givens. Like folding the clothes daily or cleaning the bathrooms every Thursday night or being ready for the day by a certain time. I feel like these are more “responsibilities” and don’t fit neatly into the given categories.
Stina099,
Best app🤩
(Apple Watch compatible)??
First review ever. This has been one of the best apps I have ever used. It got me in shape and moving again and all those little things that I forget during the day. I love the reminders throughout the day such as do 10 push-ups, and then maybe two hours later do 25 squats. Basically anything you want to do periodically throughout the day however many times. I’d be in the middle of cooking dinner with my kids and get a reminder and Bam I’m on the floor doing some push-ups or a plank. It was super simple which is why I loved it so much. Even just a reminder of how much water I need to drink by the end of the day made me drink less alcohol because I wouldn’t have a drink until I finish my water quota and by then I was tired and full of water lol. I stopped using it in the middle of last year because it had a Christmas tree logo and it wasn’t updating. I’ve been disappointed with all the other apps I’ve used. And now that I got a new Apple Watch for Christmas I went looking for it again and was happy to find it so I’m going to download it again. 😁🤩I am only giving it four stars because the fifth star I’m hoping it has an Apple Watch setting in the future. Thank you

Needs More Customization Options
This app only lets you create goals in 4 categories: Physical, Mental, Emotional, & Spiritual. Those category names can not be edited and no new categories can be added. So, if I want to create goals for things like meditation and exercise, this app might be ideal. But if I want to create goals for more practical or productive things like clearing out my email inbox daily or vacuuming one room each day, there’s really no category for those things.

I’m also frustrated that there’s no way to designate certain goals to happen only on certain days. For example, I’d like to be able to set up a goal of walking 3 miles each weekday, but not have it show up on the weekends.

Overall, I love the appearance of this app in terms of the colors and the floaty bubbles for each individual goal, but it just doesn’t have the customization options that I’m looking for.

Habits in reverse
Lynnsykes88, I added what I wanted to pursue easily. I’m so excited about creating new habits. My only concern is that the list on any day goes by reverse order of the reminder time. So something I want to be reminded of in the morning is at the bottom of the list, while the top of the list is the last thing I want to be reminded of before bed. Wish it would list chronologically.

UPDATE: day2, you’ve lost three stars !!! I can’t mark anything as completed or skipped. I erased everything and started over thinking it was me. Then I added fewer items in and tried to mark them. Still couldn’t. So I switched over to my iPhone (by the way, not syncing with the iPad) and added a few in. These I could mark as done, but only once. I marked today’s and after that the ones for yesterday I couldn’t mark.

Started off great, and I have hopes that you will correct this soon as it was a promising app.

Lovely Interface🍇
This Habits app is beautiful in design and has the functionality necessary for one to jumpstart or reboot their brain toward determined changes in life.
I love the fact that a person can create their own habits or pick from the many bubble ideas that already exist. It's colorful interface and attractive design just draws me into it. I really do appreciate the control that's given to the user. I can adjust the time of my reminders and the type of habits I want to include or delete. Very fun and yet effective app.
Note: I'd like to see this app incorporate a lock screen in order to keep ones personal habits private!
warpedandwired,
Simple and pleasing to look at.
I wanted a habit/goals app that wasn’t trying to sell me a subscription, trying to link to my Facebook or required me to memorize yet another password. I like that I don’t have to use the reminder function, even if it insists that will help me change my habits more effectively. The four life categories are ones I’m familiar with from other self awareness tools. They’d earn the last star if a simple goal function was added for items that either would end or have tangible milestones. Cool factor bonus if I could change the bubble colors, or highlight my bubbles in the opening graphics. I find the bubbles animation oddly soothing.
NNMT,
Simple yet very good
I downloaded maybe 10 different apps for my habits trucking. And among all these apps this is the only one truly free without any restriction and trials! Very simple and effective with the daily reminders.
Little tip: if you cannot find a “bubble” - the habit that you need to work on you simply can pick any “bubble” and rename it according to what habit/activity you want to track or get used to.
The program is very simple but very well organized. Only 3 categories. It’s great!
Istagrammer,
Repeat notifications, not as many options
I am just getting started in the habit tracking process so I do really like the app and what it does for me. I like that you can create your own habits as well as use the ideas they give.

The only thing, I get like 8 notifications of the same habit which just seems to be a minor glitch.
Also it would be cool if you could “snooze” a habit. Like if you haven’t finished drinking 64oz or water yet when the reminder goes off you could snooze it for an hour or something.
Also the layout is kinda difficult, it looks pretty but it is kinda big and cluttered, it might just be easier to have a list or something smaller for people with lots of habits.
Lastly, if you want to do something 3 times a week or something you have to pick a specific day and that’s not always how it works so maybe if they could add that as an option but based on the layout they have I don’t see how that would work

Overall I do really like it though!! Every other one I’ve seen cost money and you can only add like 3 habits so that’s good
AceTheatre,
I love this app!
Most of the habit-tracking apps I downloaded in the past were very limited, crowded-looking, and frustrating to use without paying for a subscription. Not Habits! This app has a lovely, simple layout that works wonderfully for helping me to form good routines. It also has suggestions for new habits, so when I feel I’m lacking in an area, I have a great source of ideas. Overall I’m really pleased with how Habits has affected my life so far!
Cari.Rae,
Fantastic IMO
If you’re a very visual person, this is definitely a useful app. Was looking for a habit tracker similar to 1 in a previous bullet journal I had, & this did the trick. Not exactly bar graph type, but the colored circles, & ability to customize habits, have really helped me get a handle on tracking. 1 constructive criticism; the spring-back on Done page can be a bit annoying when trying to catch up entering from previous days. Otherwise HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🙂
