About the App:
The SisterWorks’ e-Hub mobile application brings together our specifically curated educational content to coach and improves the quality of lives of migrant, asylum seekers, and refugee women in our Australian community.
The content is designed with the intention of equipping the user with skills, knowledge, and training in all aspects of life in Australia, from navigating their way through the sights and sounds of our cities to honing their skills to gain employment or to start their own businesses, and furthermore, how to look after their own physical and emotional wellbeing. Our syllabus is designed into 4 main categories:
●Present Support - Information about SisterWorks, Australian culture, rights and duties, basic finances and wellbeing;
●Design and Cooking Skills - Features a variety of recycling, craft, and cooking skills to learn and develop work experience;
●Other Useful Skills - Incorporates valuable sales, marketing and communication skills, while reinforcing the fundamentals of digital literacy;
●Future Pathways - Introduces the Australian business and commerce system and future educational and employment opportunities.
