Clunky to switch between projectors.
We have two kids and naturally two projectors. The app doesn’t handle multiple projectors well at all. Switching between two projectors in the app is convoluted and clunky.
At a minimum the apps needs to have a way for you name each projector - that would be immensely helpful. Currently you have to try to memorize the MAC address of each projector and find it in the list of names in the app.
Otherwise the app is a pretty good add-on.

Tbh.. really Great!
So I got a smart sketcher projector for Christmas (I’m 13 btw) and on the instructions it says to download this app, so I did. It was really easy to connect Bluetooth to the projector. This thing is more for younger kids but I liked it anyway. After it connects to Bluetooth it ask you to put this power drive in (comes with it,and it’s a lesson). Or go to camera. It won’t let me go to my camera roll but it’ll let me take pictures. So I would take a picture of what I wanted to draw (a flower, a person,etc) and it would project onto the paper!! I’m not a good drawer so this is perfect for me. I would recommend this. I don’t get all the other reviews. This thing works perfectly and is amazing! Thanks, have a great day!

Demands access to your private photos to do anything. BEWARE
So I saw an ad about this projector and app on Facebook and I wasn’t really impressed but I figured it was just a poorly done ad. So I figured I’d check out the app and maybe it would present things better. I even saw in the app info that there were ‘learn to draw’ lessons. Awesome that’s part of why I wanted it.
But you literally can not do a thing without giving the app access to your photos. I have zero intention of ever using that function, my interest is in the other ones, but I can’t look at those functions without allowing access to photos.
This app would get a zero if it was allowed but since it’s not I’ll give it a one star that it still doesn’t deserve.

New update is awful…
I used to love this machine. I use it for my cookie business and my child uses it to play and doodle. The upload feature was a lifesaver for images but there is no way to adjust the size of the image. I worked around that and could shrink photo sizes on my phone but with the new update if you change the image at all it switches the image to a fulll screen shot like image that becomes either way too big or way too small to use. I’m very disappointed in the update with this feature. Really needs a way to adjust image size.

Works great with 4th gen iPad mini
Not sure what the other users are using or doing, but we are using this with an iPad mini 4th gen and it works great! No problem connecting and no app crashing. Images from the iPad go right to the projector. My only issue is why do I have to register an account to get the app started? Also, I don’t know if this is the projector or the app, but some images are distorted when sent over. However, overall works great and as advertised.

I just got this for my granddaughter’s 9th Birthday. She LOVES it!! She can draw pictures and then color or paint them, draw pictures for her 5 year old sister to color and upload her own pictures!
My daughter who Homeschools will be using this to help teach Cursive writing. She also loves the programs like Under the Sea and Space to use with Science. This is a HIT and a WIN WIN WIN in all areas!!!

Photo access
I would give it 0 stars if I could. But I can’t. It would no let me access to photos I clicked the photo I wanted to trace and it did not pop up on the screen! I had it on and I had the chip inside of it!! It’s so frustrating! I love drawings I wanted to learn how to trace and be better at drawing! But this UGHHH it just wont work which makes me SO mad I got it for my birthday! And I was so happy!! It worked for a lil while it worked for about 2 DAYS! I’m just so mad rn I don’t recommend getting this machine 👎🏻 sorry for that hate ik you tried but just Ugh!!

App Crashes after most recent update
So whatever bug fixes you just rolled out this morning caused other ones. I cannot access my camera roll to pull pictures I want to trace. The app freezes and then crashes when I select the camera icon. Yes, I powered my phone off/on, yes I un-installed & re-installed the app, & yes, photo roll access is enabled. It worked just fine 2 days ago and then turned to crap today. TEST your updates before rolling them out, would you??!?!?! The projector is just a hunk of junk unless I can use my own photos.

I absolutely love this thing! I am 11 years old and I love to draw. I got the smart sketcher for my 9th birthday and I use so much it is amazing how it works and projects! I seriously cannot go a day without using this amazing device to help me draw. I have an in tire wall in my room that is dedicated to all my pictures I have drawn with this amazing thing!

I love this app, some people say that the pictures they have loaded don’t work but they must have done something wrong because my pictures loaded super well and the pictures that are loaded on the chip/card are brilliant they teach you how to draw pictures step by step. I love this app!!!!👍
