Knots84,
Amazing! Compatible with 3 smart watches!
A few months ago, I emailed Jose and asked if there was anyway he could add Garmin to the app. I had been using a Fitbit and able to compete with friends through the Fitbit app, but had recently purchased a Garmin, and was sad we couldn't keep up our weekly challenges. I was amazed when he emailed me back and said it had been done! I am super excited to be able to compete with friends who have apple watches, Fitbit and Garmin!
(-: Happyface :-),
Would be great if it worked
I got this app to help motivate my family to stay active daily. Keep in mind, some family members are more comfortable with tech than others. It’s hard to keep the less tech-savvy ones interested when simple things don’t work as they should.
The first day I could see the step count for 2 added friends, but not for the 4th person. I figured it was because they didn’t have Apple Health set up and the other 2 did.

Two days after convincing everyone to get on Social Steps, multiple texts and FaceTime calls explaining how to set up and sync Apple Health, only my steps are visible on the Social Steps app. We all see zeros for the step count for every friend that I’ve added, This is across four separate iPhone 12s in 2 states. I sent screenshots to the Social Steps team hoping it’s an easy fix.

It is rather disheartening though, given the difficulty we’ve faced trying to use a seemingly simple app whose primary feature isn’t working. At this point, it’s easier for us to just text each other daily step counts since we can all see our steps in Apple Health.
chelseawlb,
Simple To Use
Simple, easy to use! Nice to connect with friends with FitBit. I wish I could also connect to my fiancé who has Samsung watch, but we haven’t been able to find an app that does both Apple Watch and Samsung. No complaints and would recommend if you’re trying to connect with friends & family while being active!
Autumns2,
Very user friendly and clean!
This is a GREAT app for any group of friends/coworkers that want to see keep track of who takes the most steps! I’ve only used it for a couple of days and so far, everything seems super simple and clean. I just hope that this app can keep our steps record for more than a month. I also hope that one day, the developers can allow for Fitbit syncing!
Jessica__622,
Great App!
This App personally to me, is awesome!! Me and my friends have races of who can get the most steps in a day. So, it gets my daily exercise for the day! Again, this app is fantastic! You should definitely download this app, it’s totally free! You can also do it with your Apple Watch! I’m so glad this app was made!
hajoqua,
Would be better
The only thing I wish the app would have is a feature to communicate with your friends on the app. I would give it a 5 star rating otherwise but I would love it even more if it had a feature that lets you communicate with your friends.
LeadTeach,
Great motivator!
I have had two groups compete in step challenges. This has been a fun way to keep track. I wish we could separate into groups, though. I’ve led in one group, but not the other so I’ve never had the crown above my head. 😔 I’m excited it syncs with my Fitbit (had to get another app though). I don’t always have my phone with me.
JMags81,
Loving it! Any chance to get it for Non-Apple devices?
Thank you for creating a great product! Trying to help wounded warriors caregivers in enhancing their health by creating a health challenge - some have Droids. Any chance this would be available to them soon?
unban donald trump,
Wishing there was more to it!
I love this app especially by being able to connect to my social friends online as well.
I wish there was just more to it like giving eachother messages and appreciation points or likes or something on accomplishments.
But overall it’s really fun to be able to share your step counts. :)
janiseks,
Connecting to friends.
At first we had some problems connecting my garmin but I emailed the ap developer and they fixed it to work! Great customer service and now my friends and I can hold each other accountable. One gas Apple, I have a garmin and the other has a Fitbit.
