Just received my SR550 rower. This app shows my workout history as a run even though I ONLY have the rower and it’s connected to this app. The blue tooth on the rower screen won’t connect to iPhone. I tried updating rower & iPhone, and various connection methods on multiple iPhones. The screen BT shows up on the iPhone but fails to connect. Disappointing, especially for the cost of the equipment.
bdfrady,
Functional most of the time but not great
I have been using both the Sole fitness app and Sole+. That's the only way I have been able to get the Sole+ app to work. Apparently the Sole app gathers the workout data, uploads it to your Sole account and then the Sole+ app can access it. I haven't figured out a way to connect the Sole+ app directly to my f63 treadmill. The documentation is essentially non existent. Is it supposed to connect directly? That would be much nicer. It's very clunky too have to use both apps. It also misses uploading some of the days which is really annoying as it throws off all the charts and makes it unusable to track. You also should be able to pair to your phone and not have to pick the treadmill to connect to every time you open the app

Total joke
Limited functionality. Inconsistency between displayed by the equipment and recorded by the app information. Read/write options to Health make absolutely no sense - why write weight/height data? But no read option to take into account in calculations?! Why read other exercise data? The app lists that it does not collect information, but the privacy policy accessed from the app says otherwise. It’s better not to release an app instead of pushing this nonsense.
The response from the developer shows that they do not understand the comments on data flow. Integration is great when done correctly. What is not good is when it is done wrong as many have noted. The response does not explain why exercise calories sometime differ by a factor if two when measured in the app and the equipment when both use the same inputs.
Jengallo,
Inconsistent and inaccurate
I cannot get good results from this app. I tried using it for two weeks and the display results showed my distance as 3.18 miles for a workout lasting an hour (and that’s when I can get it to connect). Meanwhile, my average pace for those workouts was 5.1 mph. That is not a slight variation as per the app’s notification. My Apple Health data is now skewed as a result. I have logged over 1100 hours on my E35 and have flipped the odometer multiple times, so I know this is not an issue with my pace. I’ll be happy to provide a screenshot and any other data I have to the developers in the interest of making this app better. Meanwhile, I’m back to using the old app just so I can see the dashboard.
Update: I tried sending my photos to the developer but the address provided does not exist.

Poor quality software
The only function I need from this app is reliably record my workout data. However, the summary screen updated only once and has never updated since, despite the fact that the app shows a history of new workouts. It just won’t update the aggregated numbers. Very frustrating to track progress. My wife has a separate profile on the machine, but inexplicably, all her workouts were added to my app history once. These seem like misses on basic functionality.
reads14,
I give up
I thought (mistakenly) that Sole would surely ensure that their equipment would have a cutting-edge health app, but that didn’t happen. The app was clearly not designed by anyone who actually uses Sole (or any other) equipment. It is NOT intuitive AT ALL, and it’s essentially just a roaming workout display because I have to save a workout in the app AND on the machine, even though it mirrors my 10.1 inch machine display…whaaaat? It would be nice if I could save workouts to either/both my HealthMate and/or Apple Fitness apps, but I don’t see that ever happening.
Blueberryy02,
This app will corrupt your Health Data
I installed this app thinking it would automatically log my exercises to Apple Health and sync with my AppleWatch - neither of which it actually does. Instead, it overwrote my Apple Health data and set my height and weight to completely the wrong value without notifying me. Even after uninstalling, it took me a day of completely inaccurate calorie tracking from my watch to figure out the issue. I had to manually remove a bunch of calorie, height, and weight data from the Health app to fix it.

Worse Than the Previous App
The old app was helpful because the Sole E98 Elliptical doesn’t accommodate multiple user profiles directly on the equipment itself. But when connected to the Sole app, my profile automatically showed up on the equipment’s console screen. With the new Sole+ app, this no longer happens. This is a huge loss for us as we have multiple people who use the elliptical in our house and now we have to manually enter our own profile details every time we work out. Give us the old app back!!!!

Force Close When Connected to TT8 (brand new)
Just purchased a brand new TT8 this week. I was able to log into the app and set up a profile. The app will find the TT8 via Bluetooth scan, but whenever I try to connect to the machine, the app will force close.
I can see on the machine display that the app connects for a few seconds before force closing, so I know that the machine and app are talking.
I also tried the old sole app, and that did not connect at all.

Still doesn’t work and crashes
I have commented before back in March and your app is still terrible. Anytime I try to sync data with my treadmill the app crashes. It would also be nice if it shared data with My Fitness Pal. I can’t get it to share with Apple Health but then again it crashes when trying to get data from my treadmill. Maybe the first step would be to have only one app.
