Drop. Vs constant
This seems to be a great little app, but the adjustment on the low-end will get a very specific signal is difficult. Would be better to swipe to where you need to be and then tap up-and-down to get closer. Or simply enter in that hz that you want.

When using the teardrop to temporarily use the frequency the intensity seems to be higher then if you leave it on constantly using the play button. Overall seems like a pretty good app
Caeroth,
Does what I need and super easy to use
I suffer from tinnitus - a constant ringing in my ears - but when I was diagnosed, it was hard to nail down the frequency I was constantly hearing because normal hearing tests don't go high enough. With this app I was able to nail the tone at 9 kHz. And now I can also demonstrate that tone for others who cannot understand what I'm hearing all the time. I will be interested to try the mosquito repellent feature next summer. :-)

Great audiophile helper
If you install old school or high end car audio, this can help turn of frequencies you can no longer hear, especially for your tweeters. Adding life to them, and less draining on amplifier to produce useless sounds and keep everything running cooler!
BlindScentsyMon,
Good but for me, it could be better.
I haven't been able to try it out on the dogs yet but have some fun with a few people.
Aside from the constant ads, my main problem with this app is that it doesn't seem to be completely compatible with Voiceover.
I have only been able to try one frequency because I can't seem too adjust the slider with VO on.
There may be a workaround for this problem but if so, I have not found it.
Flengord,
Nifty concept RUINED by constant ads
Every time (maybe every other) you play a tone, you'll get a popup ad, sometimes with sound and video. Prepare to be annoyed.

I get that app developers deserve some way to monetize free apps, and I agree wholeheartedly, but here's the thing. I've developed apps (had 4 in the store a few years ago), so I know first hand how easy it is to use the CoreAudio system to play a sound. The only innovation here is the slider to control the pitch. The constant advertising, therefore, is just a cash grab. I'd have been happy to pay a buck to turn off the annoyances, but there's no option to do so.

The app does prompt you to leave a 5-star review to turn off ads. That's obviously been successful in getting the very high rating. Nice trick. Nagware, it's called.

Uninstalling as soon as I push send on this review.
Nipple313,
Just downloaded it....
1st review. I got this to help with the neighbors dog but I enjoyed it annoying my co-workers. ADs are annoying and it’s more annoying that the slider moves so fast & doesn't allow you to input a cert FZ. Mainly got this cause someone mentioned kids can only hear a certain frequency, gonna test this out at our local bar where breeders think it’s ok to bring kids there to run around. So if it works against kids I’ll re-rate it to a 5
DrBlastissimo,
I have made soooo many enemies
I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different frequencies, all the while annoying everyone around me, granted that I have been wearing ear plugs when I do. In a serious note, this a rather cool app that’ll let me check headphone companies and call BS when necessary lol
Jameszim36,
Great to get rid of water from speaker
When I being my iPhone 7 into the water from time to time and dry it this app is great for getting rid of the little bit of water always stuck in the speaker (around 200hz or just press the water button)
Cousin Juno,
Actually work!
Sometimes in life you need something irritating to irritate an annoying person. This does the trick. It is actually loud enough to be useful in chasing mosquitoes away or audible enough to get on a humans nerves. Might work on threatening animals as well. Nice app!
Electro-Genius,
Works, but almost ruined by ads
It does what it's supposed to, but the amount of pop-up ads is extremely annoying. At least make them small at the edge of the screen or give us the option to pay to remove them. I certainly would, at this rate, pay to remove them if given the option.
