No Nonsense Spanish
I've been looking for a straight-forward app like this to help me practice verb tenses and grammar. So many Spanish-learning apps out there have some sort of gimmick to memorize words or learn in a holistic way. I like those apps too, but I also need practice with verb tenses and grammar, and this seems to be the best for that. Try the lite version if you are interested and then buy the app if you like the format.

Not worth it
The vocabulary is a lot of animals and unnecessary words. I wanted a lot more good conjugation exercises in different tenses. Not really useful.

Heavy on Reference, Light on Excercises
I was looking for an app to help me work primarily on grammar. This app mainly has a bunch of text descriptions of spanish grammar rules. Good as a reference but not so good as an interactive training tool. It's very disappointing considering the potential of the iphone. In fairness, it does have a fair amount of vocabulary but all the answers are multiple choice so there is no opportunity to produce it on your own. There are much better apps out there for learning vocab. The conjugation practice is pretty good but again multiple choice. I can live with this as often you know the verb and it's just figuring out which is correct. Other than that there are very few grammar excercises and the app comes off half baked. A few tweaks and some expansion of content and it could have been a winner.

Not useful for student vocabulary list studying
I purchased this product for my 7th grader to practice for school tests. The vocabulary in this app only had about 75% of the words I needed to review. It didn't say the words so I bought the in app upgrade to be able to listen but it doesn't seem to say the vocabulary words I picked from the list. Also, there are useful phrases but the in app quizzes didn't allow you to pick phrases to quiz on. Finally I went to the website that is supposed to allow me to add the additional words I need but after making an account I was not able to use the site and don't see where I would add the extra words into the app vocabulary list.
Basically I feel this was a very bad purchase and is not meeting my needs.

Easy and fun to use
An excellent APP for beginners. It has course settings designed to walk you through the basics of vocabulary, verbs, and sentence structure. It is actually fun to use, and designed well that you understand how to use it immediately.

A very helpful Spanish app
Although I use Duolingo more often, I also enjoy using this app very much. It helps focus on grammar and verb conjugation in a very helpful way. I wish the listening exercises had clearer audio with them though. I suppose these may be purposely made somewhat difficult to understand to really test verbal comprehension though.

EXTREMELY disappointed
I purchased this app to use as a reference tool for students in my 1:1 iPad classroom. Needless to say, I am very disappointed that basic grammar lessons are INACCURATE. For example: explaining SER vs. ESTAR as *anything* like "permanent" vs. "temporary" is absolutely inaccurate and leads to YEARS of misunderstanding for students (let alone the reteaching nightmare for teachers). Deleting this app. What a huge waste of my personal $$. I really wish there were a way to recover funds from Apps. If this were a physical purchase, I would return it in a heartbeat.

Good deal
For a couple of dollars you get a great deal of content that makes it a little more fun to learn Spanish. I have a lot of work to do on my verbs. There are 5 levels of courses with about 5000 total words and 160 phrases.

Beware and Note Well--Don't Buy**
Read the fine print. After you purchase this app for about $5 you have to pay another $1.00 for an in app purchase if you want audio. Unfortunately, I
did not read all the fine print and should have but I still feel this is a sneaky way to get an extra buck. If you want this to be a fully functional app be prepared
to pay SIX DOLLARS. I am not sure I would have knowingly paid this much.
My feeling is that the developers didn't think people would pay six bucks up
front so they bet there is a better chance they could squeeze out more money with an in app purchase.
