Good but

I love this game right from the back looks really good but it’s kind of hard I feel like like if you do easy it’s too easy if you do medium it’s a little too hard for me and I know we all have different taste and everything but it was a little hard for me for medium also could you please try to repeat the words over and over again like say it was it says it once and never repeats it then I just says like X buzzer or whatever you know but I love it it’s fine I was just like he’s a little kinks to kind of be fixed and everything if that’s OK you know so please read and if you want to came in so you’re not very good at spelling I would definitely recommend it does ask your parents for the premium or whatever oh don’t mention there is premium is premium you have to pay for do you have lifetime and you know just like a month or something I’m pretty sure the month is $8:00but then a lifetime is $15:00 I feel like they’re pretty good prices but they may need a little bit lower
Because some people have their kids pay for them and some people they just pay for them like their parents and stuff but like my parents like make me pay for the games I want and everything I know this may be long but please read it will help us a lot thank you for reading

I need help

I am 60 years old, and I have never spelled with any sort of efficiency. I was removed from regular classes after the fifth grade. I was just put into it was called special education. Unfortunately, that is where my education stopped. To this day my brain works more from pictures than words. I am extremely uncomfortable when it comes time to read or spell. I am trying to at this point in time learn how to spell so that I can feel more confident and I can fight off the effects of Alzheimer’s. So far I have just started this new program and I have played my first game and I enjoyed it. Thank you for creating this type of program.

developer please read this

so the reviews on this app looked really great so i downloaded it because I’m going in a spelling bee contest soon. for the most part the reviews are accurate and the developers actually fixed some of the problems which I think is great. however there is one thing that really annoys me. when I want to see what words I missed, it shows me some thing about paying money to get premium or something idk I wasn’t really looking at it. for some of the exams you only get 5 mins to do it, which is fine in most cases, but that’s not enough time to memorize which spelling of this word or that word is correct. developer if you could fix this I’ll probably raise my rating to 5 stars -P.S oh yeah and btw for once in all the spelling bee apps I’ve seen this one has art that doesn’t burn your eyes👍and I think it’s nice to see the words you’ve mastered and I like seeing my level go up (did I mention there were levels? And yes I understand that the programmer needs to be payed but come on I have like 200 words mastered it’s a pain to scroll through all of them to see the correct spelling of a word)

Audio needs to be clearer

Downloaded to preview before giving to my kids. It’s hard to evaluate without purchasing because the free version is so limited, but based on the practice mode I decided not to purchase (and will be deleting). The audio of the words being spoken was so “computer voice” that it was difficult to discern the word sounds. I think that for this to be really useful for a kid they’d have to be familiar with the words being “spoken” already. That’s fine if someone’s practicing spelling of known words, but it doesn’t allow for practicing broader spelling concepts and applying those concepts to unknown words.

iow: in the free version you have to 1. listen to the word, 2. try to figure out what the word is from the audio, 3. type in the word, 4. be right or wrong. If wrong, you can’t know in the free version what the word actually was and whether you got it wrong because you don’t know how to spell the word or because you *may* know how to spell whatever the word was but you don’t know what word it was supposed to be.

Hopeful but disappointed!!

At first - this app appeared to be everything I was looking for. I need to be able to upload and manage my own Spelling lists. That way - kids can practice again and again on their own along with self-testing. I was so excited as I thought this was one less thing for me to be involved in as their homeschool educator.
Unfortunately though, I have uploaded several lists and after a few days… the lists just completely disappear. I have tested this out and with every list it is the same thing. Once inputted or uploaded, the lists should allow management functions such as edit or delete. (But they just vanish) This is extremely frustrating as time and effort was spent inputting many spelling lists. As a former application support specialist, I am pretty system savvy so please advise if there is something that needs to be tweaked on my front end. But by all appearances this seems to be a back-end issue.

SpellBee

Hello developer! I just wanted to stay I rarely give four star reviews. I have wanted to find a nice spelling game for a long time. I finally found this one after deleting a few (like, 18?) apps that had wrong spelling in them. This app though, uses a Mariam(I didn’t know think I spelt that right) Webster Dictionary. I have wanted to get to the Nationals in the Spelling bees, but I have failed multiple times. I think that if I practice using this app I will be good to go! I highly suggest this app for youngsters (no inappropriate ads/words) that are like me, wanting to get into Nationals. Just a few suggestions...
1. Why the money, I don’t want to pay for a spelling game.
2. Maybe put in a practice Spelling Bee, like have multiple players compete in a Bee. That would be, like, epic.
3. Keep going Developers! You got this! :D

Fix the fill in glitch

One of the things I love most about this app is I can make my own spelling word list. This gives my child another way to study. Only one problem we noticed in the fill in the black part. It had a glitch. Instead of a blank for the fill in word. The whole word was filled in with an extra space that was not needed. That glitch caused the app to think a letter was needed. When actually it was already auto filled. This is an error in the program that needs to be fixed. There was no way around it! I would love if they fixed that problem. Because we really love everything else about it! Other than that it’s a great spelling app and we look forward to many happy learning years with this app.

Like it, but have some suggestions

I got this for my daughter to help improve her spelling. The games/activities are great, however the words by grade level are definitely not age appropriate. I have been a teacher for 15 years, and the words this app uses are very difficult and obscure. The words by grade/age definitely need to be re-evaluated. Also, the audio portion of the app can be difficult to understand. It would be great if the app also had an audio feature that said the words for the multiple choice and fill in the blank games. Since the words are so obscure, even I am just stabbing in the dark sometimes guessing what the word is supposed to be. This app has the potential to really be great, but needs some tweaks here and there.

Great! But Audio Missing

Two years ago, I used this during lock down and it had a ton of bugs- which they’ve worked through to make this the best spelling app ever. Except there’s still one bug hidden inside the “Make Your Own List”. The Audio doesn’t work.

You make your list- the games work for practicing your list, but once you go into study mode there’s a headline and a box with a blinking cursor with three options below- “Audio”, “Options” and Something Else. When you click Audio- nothing happens. You have to hit “Options” to get a definition which if you know what it is then you can try to spell the correct word.

Hopefully the developers will keep working on this piece.

Won’t allow you to try a new game

I like the game in which you construct words from letters in a circle which must contain the letter in the middle. But after a while crocodile you hit a limit as to how many words you, personally are able to construct using these letters.

Would be nice if the game would allow you to proceed to another game, but it seems hellbent on you finishing each and every possible word combination using those letters before allowing you to play a new combination, which most people are not going to be able to do.

So you’re basically stuck at the third level and cannot proceed to another game. This is stupid, please fix. Not everybody is a walking dictionary, and the objective here is to learn and have fun, not be punished for not arriving at all possible combinations!
