Great way to get new exercise ideas
If you have a good idea of body mechanics and form and are looking for new TRX workout ideas, this app is for you! I like the breadth of exercises, organized by difficulty and/or filterable by muscle groups, and the ability to customize my own workout. The video for each exercise demonstrates correct form, but there are no verbal cues; a plus for listen to workout tunes, but not ideal for the novice or the unconditioned. Worth the $4.99!

Great app but no verbal cues!
As soon as I got the app, I wanted to see what the app had to offer and played the demo. First, I was confused and tried to turn up the volume and then realized that there are no verbal instrctions just a silent demo. When working out, I dont' have time to constantly watch the video, I am sure that might cause some injuries in the process trying to turn my neck a certain direction and causing poor alignment. Also, I don't want to pause during my workouts, I want them to be very intense. Hell, I can't even see anything in front of me with sweat pouring down my face.

It would be nice to have verbal cues on the upcoming move as well as proper form verbal instructions during the workout timer. For this reason, I took off a star.

Also, it would be nice if the app had a wod generator like the 12 minute athlete app, for those of us who have no idea what we are doing and need to be told what exercises to complete.

Thankfully, TRX posts "the workout of the day". I am so glad that they do because I don't have the imagination to create my own workouts but I want to workout like a beast. I check the WOD daily and then create the workout within the app.

So, please work on 2 things : Verbal cues and wod generator.

All in all, great app but lacks some essentials.

Time versus reps...
I really like this app and the fact that you can create your own workout from the wonderful library of demonstrated exercises. My wish list includes a way to mix both timed intervals and repetition intervals within the same workout. For example, hold a plank for 60 sec., rest 30 sec., 12 Automic Push-ups, rest 30 sec. etc.. Another item I wish for is a way to export or download a workout do that I don't have to rely on Internet access to view the videos. Thanks for writing such a great app!

Great app- it provides excellent examples for proper form, offers different work out methods, such as rep & set based, HIIT & circuit with variable rest periods and an option to pause the workout if you get totally gassed and need a little extra rest. If you are looking for a good workout in your home or on the go it is definitely worth it. New “moves” are occasionally added with auto updates for the app. My only criticism is it lacks exercises for the rip trainer.

LOVE the exercise plans, makes working out FUN
I just started using this app and I can tell you already it's my number one favorite for exercise indoors. They include a timed video lesson plan for each part of the body various sets and reps. It also includes beginner intermediate and advanced levels. So I will be using this app for a very long time... And I am certain I will look like a different person in a month or two

A great alternative option.
The price point is a key reason I chose this over the official TRX app, the interface is good, very intuitive and simple, the last thing a workout needs to be is complicated.

I do wish the app would synchronize user made programs across devices, and separately that you could share them with friends who also use the app.

Worth it, but I miss more statistics
Ever since they added more exercises I started to use the app for every trx training. I find the database big enough for my workouts. However, I am still missing something - better statistics. I would like to see a history of my workouts, the time spent and eventually some more details. Currently you can track only the calories you have burnt which doesn't add value for me.

I love this app
I've been using TRX for almost 2 years but I was always looking for a good and simple timer.
This app completely satisfied my expectations and would highly recommend it to any TRX fan. It offers multiple levels of difficulty, gives tools to the user to customize their workout and includes excellent "how to" videos.

Am I missing something?
This app does nothing that the free TRX appdoesn't do. It teases at the idea of building a routine, I has a build icon, but doesn't actually let me add exercises to the workout. It doesn't leave any more time than the normal rest period between exercise to reconfigure the TRX, nor does it prompt the user to do so. It also doesn't repeat side specific exercises like single leg exercises or side planks to allow you to do the other side. It only has a few simply workouts. If I had it to do over, I would save the $5

Great alternative to a monthly subscription for TRX
I own TRX straps and love to use them. But I didn’t see the value in paying a monthly subscription to their app to get workout routines. This app is nice in that you can build your own routine. But they haven’t added any new exercises since I paid for it so that’s a bummer. Hopefully they will update and add additional exercises.
