david.w.87,
Really, actually works
I found Slumber One at a point in my life where I hadn’t slept for weeks. I mean that literally. I track my sleep and I had gone for at least 3 weeks where Fitbit told me I literally had slept 0 minutes and 0 hours in the past 3 weeks.

I tried melatonin. I tried cutting out all coffee. I tried reading a book in bed. I tried meditation. I tried weed. Nothing worked.

Some days I would get tired. So frickin tired that I thought for sure I would be able to sleep that night. Nope. “Fooled you” my brain would say. I would lay in bed so exhausted that I felt like I could die, but I just wouldn’t fall asleep.

When I found Slumber One, I bought it on impulse, but I honestly didn’t think it would work. But I had already spent hundreds of dollars buying things so why not try something else. They’re from Harvard. Maybe it’ll work. If not I can tell people even Harvard can’t help me.

The first week using Slumber One I didn’t think much was changing. More money down the drain. But then the second week, by some miracle I actually slept. I slept for 2 nights. My Fitbit counter was finally no longer at 0. Third week I slept for 5 nights. By the fourth week, I actually slept every single night.

If you’re reading this and you can’t sleep, then do yourself a favor and get this app. This really, actually works. I don’t know how. Some of the stuff they tell you to do just seems completely illogical, but somehow, through their sequence of instructions, I can sleep again.
pmios,
I’m believer!
Stellar sleep has quietly changed my life. I like the emphasis on building skills that I can use to tackle my specific sleep issues vs other apps I’ve tired which try to just clam you down with generic seeming meditation. I’ve found that a lot of my sleep problems are made worse by my anxiety, and Stellar sleep has helped me recognize that and handle it in a way where it no longer affects my sleep. More importantly the app has helped me believe that I can sleep like a normal person again instead of having to struggle with sleep for the rest of my life. Every day I’m feeling much, much more hopeful about living a normal life with normal sleep.

Best sleep app
I’ve had insomnia for two years. I have tried 5 or 6 other solutions that claimed they could help me. Stellar sleep is the only thing that actually worked for me because of the psychological component that helped me discover how burned out I was and how that was affecting me. I like the videos and the approach and I only wish there was an easier way to go back and search for specific things because I want to rewatch a few specific parts.

Overall highly recommend this app. It’s worked super well for me!
Chelabs,
I’m over the moon
I’ve had really bad insomnia for over 10 years, I’ve tried seemingly everything under the sun. I happened to stumble across this app and I’ve had a couple one off bad nights here and there but the tools I’ve learned from this app have taken me from average 3 hours a night to pretty consistent 7 hours a night. I can’t believe it, I am so grateful I found this!!!!
LeadingTune,
Effective until it stopped working
Works surprising well. Went from an average of 70% to 95% sleep efficiency and more predictable sleep pattern in 4 weeks. Suggested Improvements: 1. Customer support in the app, so I don’t have to post here to contact developer for the following: 2. One place to see (list) all the modules I’ve completed, so I can easily refer back to them. 3. Let me copy the text of the modules so I can add the information to my own Notes.

Edit: dropped from 4 starts to 2. After 40 nights of logged sleep, I can’t access “Sleep Log”. When I tap on it, the app freezes.
j.zallen,
I’m finding it highly effective
I started suffering from insomnia after a major surgery, and my doctor recommended psychology to help with my sleep. I don’t have time to see anyone in person so this app has been a godsend. The program has been easy to follow so far and very effective in helping me get my sleep back to normal.
Mindyvw,
Helpful but expensive
I’m 26 days into the program and it says I’m done. It has given me some useful ideas & tools. But I don’t understand why you must pay for 3 months when the program content stops at 26 days. I’ll have to update this review when I know what happens in month 2 & 3. Even the content in the first month is pretty repetitive. I just don’t feel like it was worth $130.
Cutegirl420,
Hassle to cancel
The website says no questions asked if you cancel. This is definitely not true. I sent an image of my payment receipt and they said they couldn’t find my account under my name or email. I accidentally gave the wrong email address and they closed my support ticket when I was still trying to prove my purchase for a refund. It’s been days of back and forth so far trying to get a refund.
fonniedk,
What does this cost?????
Have just spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find out the cost for this app. I don’t want to fill out your sleep questionnaire or give my personal information until I know the cost. It looks interesting, but several reviews have mentioned that it is “pricey”. Could someone please define “pricey” for me since the developers don’t seem to include that information or indicate anywhere that there are in-app purchases.
Shteevie,
Broken system
Firstly, the app is not free. There is no content or benefit before you pay, and this is not clear from the App Store page.

Secondly, even if you do try to pay, the system breaks and sends you into an endless loop of a broken web page and an app that asks you a lot of meaningless questions.

It all feels like a scam. Avoid this app.
