Okay for Physics class
I’ve been trying to find something similar to this for my Physics class to use during their physics labs. This would be possibly a 5 star app if the timer could be overlaid on the slow-mo feature of the video recording.

It's a great timing app for track coaches! Love it!
this is a great app for track coaches. Prior to coming across this great app solution, I was videoing our team members at time trial, then pulling the video into an editor, and adding a stopwatch to Capture times for each heat. This app allows me to now do it on the fly. It’s great for accurate splits, and when at track meets when timing results seem suspect, you can verify them with this app. I’ve recommended this app to many of my peer coaches and staff.

Good, not great
I’m giving this app 4 stars because it’s the only one like it at the moment. I use it for my IG videos when I show people how to minimize stress in a minute or less (@theholyhippie). I need the countdown feature obviously, so people can see how easy/quick it is to de-stress in less than a minute. However, I’d like the front-facing option to be more accessible rather than having to go to settings and if the start/stop/record button was all in one, rather than separate buttons.

Nice and simple
I haven’t used it for anything yet, but it seems like it will work for taking a video with a timer. I like that it is simple, but when you’re taking splits, it does the overall time for the split, not the split time. It is also a little confusing because you have to start recording and start timing separately. There are two different buttons. It’s convenient, but could be messed up easily.

Needs more work
Needs to be iPhone X compatible, the ability to purchase and get rid of the annoying add, the ability to put the timer at any specific point in the screen and most importantly to put manually the time to start. If I want to start recording at 4 minutes, 30 second for example (just the end of a race so I don’t have to waste all memory recoding nothing. But besides that it can be an awesome app.

The timer needs to be lowered
This is a very useful app, but the running timer is obscured at top of screen by the black section under the iPhone 11 ear speaker--can't see the running clock! Still giving 5 stars. Great idea.

Has no annoying advertisements and no spam with trying to buy “pro” version.

Great for coaching
Love using this app for both workouts and races. Especially when we couldn’t have spectators at our meets and I could post these videos for parents and fans to watch.

Works well, doesn’t display stopwatch while recording
Good app, can see stopwatch when you play back the video but it doesn’t show while recording.
