Storyspace allows you to find exactly what you're looking for by filtering posts according to their type and genre. There are 3 types of postings: Chats, Ideas and Starters. Chats are designed to be short messages that may or may not pertain to roleplay. An Idea is the basis for a story that is still being developed. Ideas invite another user to share in the story planning process and are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what your partner is interested in writing about. Starters have already laid the story's foundation, and invite other users to jump right in where the story left off.
Every Idea and Starter is tagged with a genre—allowing users to quickly find what topic they are interested in writing about. There are 8 different genres in Storyspace: Action/Adventure, Historical, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Horror, Romance and Adult.

Great but could use improvements
I have been rping for years and have always struggled to find literate writing partners. This app has been great so far in finding people!
However, it would be nice to be able to pick your own profile pictures and starter pictures. It would also be amazing to be able to sent photos from within the app. I think this app could be the best for roleplaying if it continues to be improved!

This apps amazing.
I got on here from rook. At first i didn’t like it just because i didn’t understand how to operate it but it’s not hard. Once i got the hang of it all it was amazing. There’s no where near as much role players than compared to rook so getting replies to your posts are a bit slow sometimes, but once this app blows up it will be amazing. I’ve never had trouble with a bad account, or my accounts crashing like in rook where after minutes my account would crash, and i love that there’s levels. I would recommend adding more categories. when posting it gives you a category. You have to chose one. I wish it would add Angst, and a few others because it only has a few right now, but other than that it’s amazing and i definitely recommend.

Most people are nice but a lot of them are just rude and racist. Many of them also bully others for having their own little business.
Also people aren’t all that active, sometimes I can go a couple days without seeing anything new

Great for literate role players
I’ve been looking for an app to replace Amino because of how laggy and ad-filled it’s become. Storyspace is a really great place to find people who are interested in the same rp themes as you, and I’ve been able to pick up two different, really interesting role plays with literate partners within the span of a week

Needs Mods
This app is in its early stages so maybe there isn’t much of a moderation team or system but I think that needs to be worked on ASAP. There is an option to report posts but nothing happens once reported. I’ve come across two posts listed under the “Adult” section and both involved se*ual / mature content with minors. I reported them both yet they remain on the app.
Hopefully the posts are removed and if they are I’ll be sure to update my review to reflect that.

Lots of Promise!
I really love the way the app is set up, and I feel like it has lots of promise and I'm excited to use it. Unfortunately it's currently down, nothing but a white screen. I hope it comes back up, I look forward to using it!

When I opened the app, all there is is just a bright white screen. There’s nothing to press, I’ve refreshed and reopened the app many times. It’s nothing on my end…help?

The app is good! It has a great layout and I love the stats section; I think it’s a great idea! But there is one think that really irks me.
PLEASE let us choose our own profile and starter photos! The profile pictures make everyone look like bots, and the starter photos are horrible. I think granting this freedom would really up my enjoyment.

Help
For some reason after a week long vacation the roleplay post section wouldn’t update. I tried everything and it wouldn’t allow me to see any recent posts. I deleted the app thinking that I could reinstall it and fix everything. I have tried to reinstall it 4 times and for some reason every time all I get is a blank white screen when I enter the app.

System down
I was pretty active and I will admit there are some glitches, right now though it is just a white screen, before I could go on but was like no one was active for days. It is great to write with but with it down I can’t give it what I want to give, but yeah.
