Description

StrengthMark takes the guesswork out of planning and tracking your weight training. Be certain about hitting new personal records, loading the barbell, and how you spend your time in the gym.

StrengthMark is made for lifters, whether it's powerlifting, strongman, olympic weighlifting, general strength training, or bodybuilding.

Here is how StrengthMark helps you:

• AUDIBLE REST TIMER - Starts when you complete a set to match your planned rest time. Use the full screen rest timer to watch the countdown while you're on the lifting platform.

• HUGE EXERCISE SELECTION - Create your own or choose from over 900 different exercises for strength training, conditioning, mobility, powerlifting, strongman events, and Olympic lifts to build your workouts.

• WEIGHT PERCENTAGES - Use sub-maximal percentages to plan and scale your workouts.

• CUSTOM TEMPLATES - Create templates based on existing workouts to repeat and scale a series of workouts.

• GIANT SETS - Use giant sets and supersets to add another dimension to your training.

• PERSONAL RECORDS + HISTORY - Review your personal records using weights and reps of your favorite exercises like the deadlift, squat, bench press, snatch, clean and jerk, Atlas stone load, and more. For each personal record, you can view the full history of past PRs to get an idea of how you’ve been improving over time.

• ONE REP MAX CALCULATOR - Use the one rep max calculator to establish a baseline for a training program.

mikhou1973,
Best app that I've found for tracking percentage-based programs
This app is so simple to use and it works tremendously well for tracking percentage-based programs. I've used it for several years now and have occasionally tried others to see if I am missing something. Nope! I always stick with Strengtthmark because it does exactly what I need it to do in a simple manner.

UPDATE: This app is still great but why did you remove the arrows for navigating between sets. That was very helpful when plugging in sets at different reps and percentages.

BETTER UPDATE: The new update is awesome! Thanks for listening and bringing back the arrows to navigate between sets and the integrated rest timer works great!

Easy, Practical and Tracks my Progress
I like things simple and effective. I’m able to easily track each set off each exercise and track my PR’s on each lift.
Ulbit,
Best Strength Performance App
I have tried them all and this app, without question, is THE BEST ONE. I train the Westside Barbell method so this app has been invaluable to me. You can add/customize any exercise you can think of which is crucial training a system that has you maxing out in a different exercise every week. When you come around to the same exercise again, all you have to do is check records, find the exercise, and crush it. Westside also has you train speed on certain percentages of a 1-rep Max and this app makes that very simple to calculate. Just find your record and adjust the training percentage and the app tells you quickly what weight to use. I needed something like this when I started Westside as using a notebook would just be ridiculous. I now have been using this app for over 2 years and it just gets better and better every update. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SOFT, COOKIE CUTTER FITNESS APPS THAT AN OLD LADY WOULD USE. IT'S EASY, STRAIGHTFORWARD, AND PERFECT FOR ANY GOAL-ORIENTED TRAINING METHOD! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Coach G55,
Was a 5 now a 1
Went to record my info this morning and the app won’t even open after the update yesterday. Have been using app for 5 years and never had a problem until this morning.
AZ Lifter,
Excellent & Comprehensive
Finally the perfect gym/strength training app! I've been looking for something like this for awhile but every app came up short. It's obvious the app was meticulously created and is organized well. With most apps I feel annoyed by putting in data but this app "tracks" everything so well I love tracking my workouts and watching my progress. Awesome!

*Update 1.45* iPhone 6, 6+ screen support is awesome. Still use the app for every workout-there’s nothing better out there. Recently used exercises are now in the search to add list making it even faster!
Fredericklouiss,
Easy and straight forward...
A thorough app that is simple, yet still offers a complete approach to tracking my workouts. As a personal trainer, this app is perfect for creating and storing client's workouts.
I'd rate it 5 stars if you added the option for users to create/name exercises which are not in your exercise database. For instance, having "standing" or "seated" in the description of the exercise, and being able to create equipment options such as "resistance band curls" or "e-z bar curls" is more specific, and would allow users to review previous workouts without having to refer to the "notes" section". PLEASE add this option for users to be able to create additional exercises...it will improve an already great app, and I will definitely rate as 5 stars.
Macdaddy4u,
Well done, best log out there
As a competitive power lifter who uses Westside programming. I wanted a log that was simple, customizable and could track progress. This app does this better than any I've used to date. My favorite capabilities: track both completed and missed reps-done, quick/automatic % of 1rm for dynamic or ME Days-done, running 1rm on any exercise (not just not 3)- done. Better programming means better results and this tool is great to have in your toolbox!
Big Ben NH,
Very flexible. Easy to Navigate. Wish it posted to social networks
This is a really good app. It lets me log all sorts of different exercises and doesn't try to force me into a certain pigeonhole. I do Wendler's 5/3/1 for Powerlifting and it is extremely easy to just cut and paste.

I do wish I could upload my training logs to social networks somehow and it would be great to be able to embed a photo (or better yet, a video) of that particular session.

The developers are very responsive and listen to suggestions, as they have made many improvements I've suggested.
Jonathaneflick,
Almost perfect
Hard to find a training log that works well and is not over bloated. This app is the best I've found so far. Two big weaknesses.

1: History for each movement is impossible to see. You can see 1rm history (if you set it) and current PR for each rep range, but that is it. If you want to see a list of all your "squat" work in one place, this app does not do that. I want to see that.

2: It will not display or calculate "time" PRs. You can create the new/custom movement and log it with time, but that info goes no where. The PR does not display time and once again, there is no history view. For example, I would like to track a few benchmark CF WODs, like Fran and my progress as I get faster. This app will not do this at all.

Outside of these two things, it's a great app. If you just like to log your lifts and know what your current rep maxes are, this app is great.
Darkeith,
Nice
I like the app, especially the bar calculator and weight % chart. My only recommendation is to have the exercises appear in a list form (similar to the Fitlist app) where you click the exercise and it opens a new window with the sets/reps/etc). That way you're not using a new "session" for each exercise or making a long list of exercises under one session.
