Reviews

I am your customer,
great for mood improvement
I like reviewing these quotes when I'm in need of a mood lift. the app is simple and effective... and free!!

some quotes resonate with me more than others and I mark those as favorites. you can review only your favorites, or all quotes by toggling the 'all/fav' button.

I do wish there were content updates as I've gone through all the quotes many times, maybe even letting users add quotes the find or come up with themselves.
R25L,
Appreciate the effort, but...
The quotes are overall very helpful for when you're feeling low, but it's insanely discouraging as an atheist to see so many "prayer" and "god" quotes. Maybe have a filter (for preferred or undesired tags), or put religious quotes in their own drop-menu, or just take those ones out to keep it neutral (which would probably be less desirable for others, though). It's just very demoralizing (for lack of better term) to see so much mention of a god for an atheist; it feels a bit invalidating and anticlimactic to the overall point of this app. Other than that, as said, good quotes.
richmahn,
Buddha but not Jesus?
I flipped through this at least 40 sayings and surprised not one to see a quote from the One who created us and stepped into history to show us the way and save us from sin, with worry being one of them. That is Jesus, the One who even created Buddha, yet no credit and glory to Him?

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” -Jesus
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” -Paul
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬

To the atheist who left a review and doesn't like how God who made you is at least mentioned in this app: as one who believes we are just an accident and are animals (quite far from the truth), why must apps and the world cater to your blind, depressing belief? A painting a building, an iPhone or the universe and every atom itself can't have a creator? Think again, and examine yourself and your sin.
Wiedo that is wierd,
Great app
Ok so it’s a great app but the Christian who already made a review and was kinda hating on the atheist. Maybe you could mind your own business, I think it’s a great idea to have like a option for no God quotes and stuff like that. You don’t have to tell other people that there religion is wrong, because guess what, there’s people that don’t believe in your God!!!
Steptree,
Love the quotes...Just one problem
I purchased this app and was really enjoying the quotes and feeling all inspired and lifted up. And then popped up a quote by Toni Morrison that had a profanity word in it. Totally killed my moment. But I continued to read the other quotes and tried to forget about that one. I really wish the company would remove that one and any other that may have profane words in them. This is totally not in sync with all the other quotes. But overall, I do like this app, with that one exception.
portion comptroller,
Dependable Inspiration Here
Most of the competitors have repeats and duds very often but not this one. Great quotes from great sources. Every. Single. Time. My only complaint is the sort of ugly color palette for the quote backgrounds, but I figure dome day they will change it. It's well worth it though. Thanks!
Mo_Mo_Mel,
At least it was free
I don't find these quotes helpful. Some are all right but many are stress-shaming. For instance, 'stress is a sign of weakness' or 'stress is misinterpreting circumstance; it is ignorant' and 'each stressful episode ages you and cannot be undone.'

Sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes stress is legitimately activated. Sometimes, after a long and difficult period, we click to download a free app to help comfort and inspire us.

But this app basically told me I was an idiot for getting stressed, it was unfounded to become stressed, and I will forever be older for having been stressed.

Thanks, app. I hope you app and quote makers enjoy your world where stress is unnecessary, nonexistent, and certainly not a vital aspect of human survival as it is on my planet.
Rejoice evermore.,
Optimist
There is a great need for these stress buster reminders. We are what we eat? No. We are what we think and we are assaulted by negativity daily. It lowers my stress level every time I read something positive. I am new to this phone and there are SO many apps! I'm glad I found this one!
Avatar1234,
Good app
I'm always in a hurry, but I like the fact I could just hit this app and get a quick little message that helps me destress, then I can share it on Facebook for everybody else.
LoriG59,
Quick reset
This app has offered me a quick reset many times... A gentle reminder to let things go, an inspirational quote, a way to reframe the view.
