PuzzieNewb,
Immediate relief!!!
I have done some stretching for a while, but always forget which type if stretch I need for the pain areas that tend to pop up. With scoliosis, it was important to me that I had a resource that showed the stretch, which body area it worked, etc. this app is wonderful. I just downloaded it this morning after awaking so sore and tight I could barely walk across the floor. After a few seconds of watching the videos and doing the reps, I had immediate relief. I'm so pleased, I bought the Upper Body Pain Relief Stretches, too. Definitely worth the purchase.

Best Stretching App
Simple , easy understandable — and it really works.
First time that I really experience relief for back and neck pain .
Do it — I have thrown out the pills and creams to numb the pain. Amazing, thank you .
Li'l Rabbit,
No Videos
The links to all of the exercises lead to a blank page. There are no videos. This should not be in the app store.
Ninjaorasleep,
More effective than chiropractic
For months I have had lower back pain. I spent hundreds of dollars on gadgets, chiropractic, back patches, anti inflammatory medications, massage. I was really getting angry with these professionals I was giving good money to. I did back exercises and stretches that I normally did to keep myself going. The pain persisted.

I learned new stretches from this app that have helped immensely. The important thing is that there is a lot of information that makes them more effective. You have to do them more than once a day in the beginning. And it's also a good time to kind of meditate. I make my place quiet so I can hear my breathing and count.

Having spent so much money on other things, I didn't hesitate to spend $4 on something else. It's $4. That's what some spend on a cup of coffee and it's cheaper than a bottle of Advil and better for you.

Little Miracle
I'm really grateful to have discovered this app. A friend swore by it, saying that she relieved her back pain altogether through its use. I admit to being skeptical that an app could offer her a little miracle. Yet once I put it to use, I am now a believer!!! Thank you to the person who offered up their wisdom and knowledge so that we pain sufferers may find freedom! Thank you also to the designer for creating beautiful human-like images because that makes a huge difference. The app, overall, is pure genius! I'm looking forward to sharing this with my mom, who is in pain and not tech-savvy. But this is so simple to use, so informative, and promises relief. She's gonna love it! Did I yet say thank you?? PRICELESS!
Littau,
Lack of spoken cues
This is one of the stupidest apps I've ever used. I really wish I could get my money back. Each exercise starts out OK, with an explanation (though you really don't need this every single time), and the voice tells you to start, and a little stopwatch appears. And then, no more voice. You do repetitions of different stretches for specific amounts of time, but apparently they imagine you holding your phone in front of your face the whole time because for some reason, they decided it was not necessary to add voice cues to tell you to stop. I have used many fitness apps, and this is the first one I've seen that requires you to be looking at it while you are exercising. Maybe you could dangle your phone on a string from the ceiling. Yes, that's probably what they had in mind.

Finally Something That Works
I was diagnosed with ddd 20 years ago. The only treatments offered were physical therapy or spinal fusion. I've avoided spinal fusion. The PT, which I've gone through a few times, consisted of strengthening exercises which just increased my pain level and decreased my mobility. I've been doing these stretches for about a week now and am amazed that something so simple works. My lower back and hips feel like they have been unlocked, and my pain has decreased significantly. One thing I really like is that the instruction is simple and easy to follow.
SuperChick0000000000000,
Feels great!
I stretch all the time and was looking for some fresh stretches for some of the more difficult areas to stretch. The StretchAway apps are great and have added some variety to my routine. I bought all 4 apps. My only complaint is that there is a lot of overlap between apps... Meaning the same stretches show up in multiple apps. I feel a little cheated but looking at the bright side, if one stretch is really healthy for a number of areas, that means less stretch time required!
cornvillain,
Great App. Worth every penny.
This is a great app for anybody who suffers from painful tight muscles in their back. I am an avid golfer and as most golfers know, the golf swing puts a lot of stress on your lower back. These stretches are great for loosening up before or after playing golf or doing any other major physical activity.
Don't pay attention to the bad review below, this app is very professional and easy to use. For the price of a small bottle of Advil you can get rid of your pain all together. Why not?

Needs Audio Cues and Stretches for Both Sides in One Clip
Very informative. Many exercises and instructional videos. The physical therapist really knows her stuff. However, audio cues for starting and stopping all stretches needed. Additionally, movies stretch only one side and need to be replayed to stretch the other side. This should be updated to stretch both sides in one sitting.

Finally, for me, doing the leg stretches really hurt the front of my hips. The exercises state, for example, that for bringing both knees to your chest, your knees should be together. This causes my pain in the front of my hips. If my knees are not together, it doesn't hurt as much. I'd like to see exercises account for this too.
