Description

Supercharge your rehab therapy experience—and stay digitally connected to your care team—with the StriveHub app. When you’re a patient, it’s easy to misplace paper handouts from your therapist or forget how to complete your home exercises. But with StriveHub, you can ditch the paper and follow along with HD videos—whether you’re at home or on the go. You can also track your exercises and let your therapist know when you’ve completed them. Access carefully curated content straight from the app, and directly message your therapist if you have questions or concerns about your routine. With StriveHub, the hardest part of following your home exercise plan is remembering to charge your phone.

Spunky633,
Good idea, functionality lame - needs PT ;)
I use this to follow and record the daily PT regimen assigned by my Physical Therapist and to communicate with him. The idea of this app is brilliant. Love the idea! Makes me want to do my exercises to check off all the boxes, has a video to refresh my memory, and provides a feedback option to communicate with my therapist if I’m experiencing pain or a problem — WHEN IT WORKS. That’s the problem. More than half the time (~75%), the app doesn’t work. It usually doesn’t permit me to *mark each exercise as complete, *message my therapist about the exercise being done, or *check the boxes. When I log out to reboot it, the boxes are then all checked even though I didn’t do the workout. Really disappointing. So if your memory isn’t great, or you have to break up the workout to fit it into your day, you have to pay attention to where you stopped b/c the app will just reflect that you’ve done everything. This app functionality is lame and could use some coding PT.
ElanaDawn,
From bad to worse
UPDATE: I still hate this app. Not only can I not use biometrics on my newer iPhone 11 ( so I keep using my iPhone 6), but now I can’t see both of my “care plans”. I can only see the new one. I have to go online to see the other! The company who had this app developed really doesn’t care about ease of use!

I was delighted to find out my physical therapist/personal trainer could provide me with an app to use for my daily workouts. I was disappointed in the app’s lack of flexibility. There’s no way to modify or shift exercises in their order, or daily schedule. I was annoyed by the inability to check off my exercises unless I logged out and back into the app. I only found this out, by multiple trial and error. Finally, when I tried to login today, there was no notification as to why the app would not work. After deleting the app, reinstalling the app, trying another device, and cycling my phone, I tried to login online. That’s where I found a notice that they’re working on the development side. It would’ve been nice to receive a notification.
juscal9,
Buggy chat interface :/
I mostly use this app to message my PT. One issue that bugs me regularly is that the keyboard the app pulls up during chat doesn’t have any predictive text functionality enabled, which means basic autocorrections don’t occur while typing. This makes me feel like I’m going crazy while typing out messages, making basic mistakes. This type of basic keyboard is appropriate for things like email and password fields, not chat inputs. This seems like an easy fix for this app’s development team and I recommend that they prioritize doing so.
John Kusters,
Needs Work
I appreciate that my physical therapist can send videos and clear instructions for the exercises they want me to do, along with sets and reps. On the other hand, my first use of the app led me to believe I’d be able to track my progress. But that really only happened with the first workout. Every subsequent one, as soon as I indicate I’m starting the routine, all of the exercises are marked as completed. I don’t know if this is a bug or how it’s designed, but I wish the app would track more data than simply completion. Date & time, sets and reps for each session at minimum. Duration would be nice too. Scheduling reminders would be a great addition as long as it can handle schedules like “every other day”.

Mark Complete Tab Issue
I love this app but the Mark Completed tab is not working properly so I only gave this app 3 Stars.
I just started using this app and it let me Mark Complete on the 1st 5 of my exercises and then for the next 6 of my exercises the Mark Complete tab wasn’t there for me to tap. So I did the remainder of my exercises using the Next tab. So, it looks like on my Today’s Workout Page that I didn’t complete my exercises and there is no way to mark them completed. I hope this issue can be resolved on the next update. It is very annoying to me that I completed all my exercises and it looks like I didn’t.
PNW!!,
Buggy
This app has never worked without a hitch. It logs me out every day and then says my password is wrong. I finally hit the ‘forgot password’ button which allowed me a new password and entry. That was the last time. Not only did it do it again but I have tried multiple times to get a new password with no response. Also, sone exercises can be marked complete and others can’t at random. The button also randomly shows up that lets you mark them complete. It’s really a no frills app so they must not have much interest in fixing these bugs since it looks like they’ve been issues for a long time. PNW
Kayla1678,
So much potential for a great app
This app has so much potential but lacks so much. The videos are super helpful but I’m not even able to check off the exercises I complete. It’s so glitchy and difficult to use. It could also be drastically improved if it concluded a calendar of progress for days you do complete exercises. Developers, please put some kind of effort into fixing the glitches and making it a better app that actually helps people progress in their health.
CPSheebs,
Same issues as a year ago
Given that I’m having the same experience as described in reviews from 1 year ago and the app hasn’t been updated since, it would appear this app has been abandoned. It is minimally functional and in doing so it isn’t horrible, but for full functionality the website/web app is more satisfying. I question why my physical therapist’s practice continues to use this product when there are better options like MedGo.
GoJonnyyGo,
Works well for your at-home PT exercises
My PT puts the exercises in from her end and I do them at home on the days that I don’t go in. Seems to work perfectly. It’s nice that your therapist can put notes and comments in to customize the exercises for you or to add little reminders that you may otherwise forget if the exercises were just written on paper.
C4@West,
Useful but a bit annoying
I love the videos and demonstrations that go along with my exercises. It’s also great that my physical therapist can adjust my exercises and i don’t need a paper each week to update. Also great is the ability to message my PT. But the Mark Complete tab does not function well at all. Start Workout tab, Finish Workout tab, and Mark Complete tabs do not show up until I delete the app and re-download it. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.
