Super 16 is a professional video camera application that allows you to create footage with real-time processing as vintage 16mm and 8mm film cameras do. This application provides extensive functionality for manual control, which can be useful for videographers and filmmakers. With Super 16, you can equally well shoot both atmospheric home footage (in 16mm or 8mm film style), reflecting your best moments, and professional cinematic scenes, or just take photos with a touch of old.
Powerful color adjustment
The application provides a set of >70 filters containing profiles of popular vintage Kodak Vision3 films, black-and-white filters and filters for cinema post-processing. You also have the option of manually preprocess color by changing the temperature, tint, saturation and color correction curve. You can track all changes in the distribution of colors in a frame using a color histogram.
Physical film emulation
The application allows you to emulate such aspects of analog film shooting as stains and scratches, frame shake (gate weave), flicker, grain, uneven emulsion coating etc. You can even choose overscanned film mode to see edges and film strip with holes, and apply film burn at any time you want.
Professional shooting options
Super 16 allows you to change the focus and exposure settings, adjust the zoom for better shooting of various scenes. Camera shoots at authentic 24fps that creates movie effect. All parameters (including processing features) can be changed during the recording.
Convenience of use
You can create your own presets based on the available processing options. This allows you to immediately use the camera in the configuration you need, without having to re-configure. It is also possible to process existing video files with built-in video editor.

Pause button pleeeease
Hi, Dmitry, thanks for this powerful app!
However my friend has Google Pixel and there is pause button. When I installed app in my iphone I haven’t found one. At the same moment apps like videocam+, promovierecorder, pausecam have this feature.
Will you be able to add it in future releases?

Good App
Overall the app is really solid. The effects you can use are great and the small adjustments you can make are really nice to get the look you’re wanting to achieve.
The main issue is you almost have to use the app to record all of your footage. Any footage I’ve attempted to import and export through the app becomes choppy and loses a lot of quality. Not really useable at that point. If this can be improved, it will be a go to app for me.

Please add an offline option!
I love this app, everything is great, it’s just it won’t work when not connected to internet because it needs to verify my subscription.

Without paying a membership fee for 6 months I can just add a color effect to the movie editing

Having trouble saving
Love the filters and the film affects but having trouble saving video in 4k. App says video was saved, but does not exist in my photos.

Good app. Reds one or two features
Great app so far. Really pleased with the picture produced. Could use a portrait mode for sure as that’s becoming a standard orientation to film in. Tap to focus is a feature that I find myself missing too.

The app is truly stunning. The details which the developers go into to recreate the authenticity of the old school film experience is second to none.
However, there are some things I’d like to see added.

Reduction in subscription fee. This has become a barrier to entry for me. I want to support the developer’s effort to improve this app but that price point is too steep.

Impressive
Really cool app, I shoot in filmic pro log v3 and would love a delogger lut. Crashes when trying to export 2.39:1 still a really cool app. Gives that dreamy film feel

I love this app, everything about this app is soo cool and easy to use.. however I find it so annoying that it won’t let me save videos using the 2.39:1 (Scope) ratio.
