I was referred to this app by someone while working on a shoot with them that actually uses it and was very pleased with it.

As a photographer they said it could help me get work, but also hire others for shoots as I also play producer or art director for some of my clients, which seemed like a huge plus. This was a big bonus for me, especially with Covid I’m looking for more ways to connect with and hire talent (retouchers, and experienced models in my immediate area at the moment).

I’ve been on the waitlist though for months at this point with no real reason as to why. I could understand waitlisting talent that could be hired, but waitlisting people that want to post jobs?? I don’t understand why I can’t even post jobs if I’m looking to actually hire someone for professional level work.

The thing that was most frustrating was they didn’t even mention there was a waitlist until I got to the end of making my profile. What a waste of my time. Very disappointed in the customer service.

Using swipecast from a lot.
I remember at the beginning I waited quite a bit to be accepted. They are selective, and this is actually a good thing long term.
The quality of the work is always good, fast and safe payments, and the commission is acceptable - especially compared to the traditional agencies.
I feel also more comfortable to be in a high level environment: no amatorial models, cheap photographers, and various wanna-be.
Support is ok but can be improved.

I joined Swipecast about a month ago and I love it! I love that I can apply to different jobs in different places. I get paid within a few days of completing my job so I never have to worry if I’ll be able to pay bills on time or need to take an advance. This app is super easy to navigate through and the support team is always there for me when I need help with anything. They’re always quick!

I’ve been modeling for over 4 years, I’ve been signed to Elite LA, The Industry LA, and have worked with brands like Nike, Pacsun, Adidas, Alice & Olivia, and more.
Within the past month alone I’ve worked with Face Gym, Dermaflash, and Urban Skin RX.
I listed all of these things on my profile, as well as in an email to them (which they claim to respond lightning fast to), to no avail.
I’m guessing they don’t approve non white talent often, because through my limited access to the app, all I see is white talent and Slick Woods, who seems to no longer be active on this platform anymore.
If you’re not white, try Newbook! I’ve had wonderful experiences through them.

I was told about this app about a month ago and have already booked a great paying job with an awesome client! I was paid within a few days as promised which is SO much faster than how long it takes for agencies to pay. I really like the fact that I can communicate directly with the client as well. The only thing I’d say is that the app can be a bit delayed..otherwise, I LOVE it! Many thanks, Swipecast😆

This app has been a savior at times in my career. Being a model and waiting for people to pay you is always so difficult. With Swipecast I get paid within 2 business days directly into my account. It’s also helpful to see what each client is looking for with each client. I’ve booked a couple jobs in the last 2 years and am very grateful for this platform.

I just recently started using Swipecast and I have to say that it has become my favorite platform for booking gigs . If you are serious about your career in modeling this app is a must have! My first gig with them went super smooth and I met so many talented/great people on set. I would highly recommend this app to any fellow models/creatives!

This app is really changing the game for models all over. Too many times have a I been sent on jobs I had no idea for who or what I would be doing. Swipecast has allowed for models, casting agents, hair stylists, makeup artists, etc. to be able to pick and choose which jobs they would like to be considered for. Truly one of a kind and so happy I am working with them

As a model it feels good to have the opportunity to choose yourself which jobs you apply for and that you are able to communicate with the client directly. Another big plus is that you’re getting paid immediately!
